Hi mate......Yep you got that right, I luved my old hash.
I was pretty lucky in West OZ as I did seasonal work as did a lot of my friends, so come off season some of us would head to Indo and up into Thailand on surfing and recreation trips while some went to Goa and Nepal. It was the latter that always bought back a smorgasborg of fine hashes to sample:D But one year one came back with these fine Nepalese hand rubbed Temple balls, so fresh and ohh so tasty, you know the stuff that you feel all the way down into your lungs.
I tell you mate that was the best hash I have ever come across and there was a kilo of it:D
As you say the blond never really did it for me, but some of the blacks where awesome.
There was also some very interesting strains made in West Oz during those days, with us bringing back seeds from Sumatra and Thailand plus the odd bundle of sticks:D Some friends where bringing back seeds from Nepal and surrounding areas......wish I still had some of those crosses:D

Hi m8, sounds like you had a great selection :), we got mostly the black on this side of the country but as you said, some was exceptional, some average.
Most dont realise we have alot more gentics than just thai and se asian here, and that aussie surfers played a large role in this, east and west coast, surfers like yourself traveled the world to the most isolated spots in search of the best breaks no matter how isolated, or hard the trip, add to this the surfing cutures love for herb and :).
I used to surf alot myself, actualy been off for awhile but now im back on the coast going to get a nice mal and get my soul surf on, on lovely mellow trickling full breaks, to old to charge the big pits anymore lol. I was thinking of getting a goat boat and then i came to my sences and realised i aint that dang old lmao.
Was it just me though, but as much as we use to smoke in the car or the dunes before going out for a surf, once you hit that water certain elements of the high seem to dissapear, or maybe not matter or be noticed so much. Could have just been me though lol.
much respect
moonunit

Bit like a wheelchair with a lot of lament from the other surfers:D

I once ate a lot of mushrooms and spent the next four hours down the beach without any effects whatsoever, but as soon as I walked in the door at home suddenly the hallucinations hit full on and I had to go and curl up in bed for a bit, then I watched the funniest episode of Monkey Magic imaginable - jeez that show was tailor made for trippers. But yes I think you're right - something in ocean is so powerful, it cuts right through a high. But then I was always a shit surfer when I was stoned:D

Damn Kanga.. That plant is a monster. Its nice to see everyone in your family likes to be involved in the greener side of living. We try our best to grow what we can here in the U.K but its limited as we don't have a south facing garden.

Its funny. My kids know where food etc comes from. Ask some of the other kids near our gaff and they say everything comes from the supermarket..

Its a crazy world we live in..

Looking forward to more updates of your monsters..

Stay Cool,
Doobz

Hi Doobz.....Yeah mate she is going to be a big girl, she is already twice the height of my biggest girl last year:D

I am pretty lucky that my family likes working outside.......We have our days when we all go out and collect horse and cow shit from the paddocks, simple but we know how it will make all the gardens grow:D

Most places I saw in England looked pretty green, but I know if you dont face the right direction nothing finishes off well.....you need to start breeding some fast maturing veges.

Thought I would put up some pics of my seeded Ghanese heads.
I was pretty impressed with this strain as it showed no sign of mold after having rain everyday now for months.....just need to dry it and smoke test:D

Hempy here are some more pics of the Hawiian/Nam cross. They both look much the same so I would say it is a stable cross.
The one male I got is going well now mate......lol that was close !!
Also some pics of a Thai from the Thai stick and the Lao, seems to be a fat leaf and thin leaf pheno in both of these strains, but that could change when they get bigger, still a litle bit of reveg going on

Hiya mate there looking really nice are each of the the Asian lines expressing fat and thin leaf plants or is 1 Asian line a fat leaf and the other Asian line a thin leaf plant.

The Hawaiian Nam is looking really nice.

The other day I was walking through the bush when i came across this major Cicada hatch going on, so I took a few pics. These guys are our biggest and when they all make a noise together it is deafening, you actually have to block your ears:D

Yeah mate they are both showing fat/thin leaf. The lowland black Nam and the other Thai strain are all showing thin leaf.
I will get some more pics later of each one and you can see for yourself.
Another month of growing and we should be able to see which way they are going.
I just took a seeded head off one of the Haw/Nam, but not really much smell to it, just nice and solid.

Cicadas are the sound of summer get them so lowed here that you cant watch tv with windows open.

Thinking about them Asian sats mate think if 1 lines expressing thin leaf and the other is a more fat leaf only then one must be a low land sat and the other what i call a high land Asian sat ether way both are looking nice and i expect them to explode soon.

Yeah mate they are already taking off, definetly going to be big girls by the end of the season.....Here is another pic of the Thai with 2 more in the background.

Very nice Kanga. I always expect to click on this post to see great big budded plants but I suppose its not time yet so will have to be patient.

Those cicada's remind me of something we have back home in Durban.. The traditional Zulu's catch them and then roast them over a fire then eat them. They are not too bad in taste a bit similar to flying ants but quite crunchy when cooked..

Be Well,
Doobz

Hi mate, the thais look very impressive, I see those thin leaved sativas and I naturally associate them with an extra strong smoke. I wonder if the thin stems would fare better in a storm too, despite being thin:D. Must be great to grow such diverse plants:)

Blue Mountain Jamaicans look good too:

Hi Ya Bushy.....Yeah mate I am like a kid with new toy's:D
I got some seed off these, but of course dont know what male it was, African/Thai would be nice:D
I will cage these soon, so that will help them late on in the year if we get the weather predicted.

Wow Kanga!
Thanks a bunch for sharing-this is most definitely synchronicity in action!
I believe nature wants us to have access to the grail-she is actively using Kanga and olde neighbor Nevil to get the job done this go around
I also believe nature used the haze bros via LSD to get the job done and deliver to us the stash of stashes-a true shamans tool for those that know
I have my fingers and toes crossed big time!
