MNS Mango Haze

Hi All...:D

Reading all these reports reminded me...my first truly devastating cannabis experience was with White Widow...I was visiting a college, told a few people I wanted to smoke, and that was it...they took me to a party that night where I saw white weed for the first time in my life...didn't look real...but it was too real...they had to carry me out...I woke up the next morning, got on the plane home, and never went to that school...because the weed was too strong...:eek:

The second time I witnessed someone get knocked out it was from another one of Shanti's strains...White Rhino...my friend was ok after we smoked, or so I thought...we went to a bar, lit a couple of cigars and proceeded to enjoy our freshly poured pints...he started coughing out of nowhere, and when I asked him how he was he sat up on his stool...and just kept going back...he passed out in mid sentence, I shit you not...slammed his head on the floor, but woke up with a smile on his face...it was the strangest thing I'd ever seen...when he came to, he asked me what happened...I told him it must have been the White Rhino...I know it wasn't the cigar, and I know it wasn't the beer...just some badass genetics grabbed him by the boo boo...never seen another strain do anything close to that...none of the hyped strains have ever done what I've seen the Whites do first hand...potency on a ridiculous level...no doubt about it...good times...jay:)

The widow and its hybrids are without a doubt some of the greatest strains ever developed, fresh batches are due to be available to the public by the end of the year from my understanding. I would recommend not only purchasing but running two packs at least in order to find that special mother or father plant (depending on what you're doing), selection is the key.

As I explained earlier, I had to basically rebuild my green house and I attributed it too extemely unusual and high winds which seemingly came out of nowhere the other day. I was forced to harvest one of the girls, luckily she wasnt too far off from being ready anyway but I had to pick another off the deck.

Morning all,
A few more pictures below of the ladies outside this season, one of my SSH x MH has indeed been successfully pollinated making this a second generation acclimated haze hybrid for the East Coast of the United States derived from 50% haze lines from the MNS line up. There was quite an improvement on the dates in which these lines showed sex, based off of what I would call my selection for plants with Northern Lights tendencies in the Super Silver Haze mother who was a very well behaved, squat and powerful plant and the Mango Haze father who was the earliest to show sex from the 2008 season.

Growing 50% haze lines such as Super Silver Haze and Mango Haze in my part of the world is something that requires a little bit of work (maybe a lot depending on who you are and where you reside) in order to pull off with any kind of satisfactory results. But Im convinced the work is well worth it, as the Mango Haze and Super Silver Haze I pulled last season was my best harvest to date and the strength of the cannabis rivaled the best Ive grown thus far to date.

Not long back from the gh and Im quite excited with the progress of the girls, one of the SSH x MH ladys that I havent put many photographs up of this season is quite indica in stature. She is pretty much exactly what I was shooting for with the selection of an SSH mother with Northern Lights characteristics and the Mango Haze male which itself showed Northern Lights expression. She was successfully pollinated this season and makes me quite excited to see how the seeds fair themselves next season as SSH x MH F2s which were selected each generation so far for a Northern Lights influence.

Below is the plant I was mentioning earlier, she was more sensitive to the cherry wood ash I used this season than the others, but looks like an Afghani in comparison to her sisters this season.

Hi all,
Some more photographs from last night below, the end of the season is approaching quickly for a great deal of the plants. Its been really fun running my own hybridizations, it was more of an experiment than anything else this season as I anticipate growing these haze lines for quite some time into the future and was curious what to expect from my own selection a generation removed from the commercial MNS released product. Im quite pleased with the initial results so far, although I think its safe to say Shanti's F1 MNS Mango Haze is my prized plant outside this season.Along with Super Silver Haze, these are (MH and SSH) easily my two favorite varietys to grow from seed.
