Hey folks,
Well I think we're some where in the neighborhood of 63 days total flower and have passed the point where a majority of sativaheads will tell you that a haze hybrid of Mango Hazes nature will grow on the east coast, United States. I had my doubts this season as well, as did a few of my friends with one in particular who thought I was out of my mind for even attempting such a grow this season. But I did suspect it was possible to pull it off on a good season, and as luck turns out this was an excellent season all things considered.

Looks like a few managed to tempt conventional wisdom this season and grow past the point where most would consider it impossible. Well done men, we're all helping to add to the overall body of knowledge and this kind of information can definitely help others down the road. Is it possible to grow a 50% haze hybrid on the East Coast, United States? Without a doubt, its possible. Especially with a properly selected phenotype and a good season. Some help may be required towards the last quarter of the season, but with some diligence and hard work its absolutely possible. But with that being said, Ive not grown in every part of the East Coast and there for my particular findings could be drastically different to another who lives in a different area. Obviously the further north you go, the less likely it will be to pull it off.

JessE, Man I'm Jealous! :p I pulled today, and all of my plants were dead/dying after 1 night ~4/5hrs 30-32, and last night, ~6hrs under 30 and a low of 27. Congrats on holding out! Even the 'jungle' plant and the most sativa dom superspice were on the outs. Actually, the little bits of MW seemed to take it the best. By that, I mean that they weren't smelling dead w/crispy fans...

This fall the freeze came ~a week early. No problems for me, though. I just have to figgure on Oct 15-20 on the outside. Given my (lil bit of) exp w/ssh, I would think that about 1/2 of the phenos/cuts would finish if they trigger by ~Aug 20 (all of the plants were going by then this summer). Not at all out of the question with selection. I am deffo going to run some quicker (indoor) SSH cuts outside next summer. Hell, I'm going to run the hazier cuts too, just help them a lil in the trigger dep't (22/2 inside for 2wks, go out Aug 10, finish ~now)

Great job, J :D

Hey folks,
Just back with an initial smoke report on the Mango Haze this season. Its without a doubt the best cannabis I grew this season, with the marijuana being quite hazey in taste and effect. My first hit was quite a surprise, because I immediately sensed a menthol, peppermint taste that was refreshing like wintermint gum with a healthy of dose of pepper lingering under neath. The buzz is seemingly enlightening, as it seems to bring an immediate relaxed feeling and a sense of being in tune with your surroundings. Unlike the Super Silver Haze, I dont feel any paranoia or anxiousness although its a safe bet my heart rate has risen slightly. The top parts of my teeth, attached the gum line, feel numb and I feel like I could probably write to you all night.

Definitely the best marijuana Ive grown this season, with only a relatively short period of drying and no time in jars curing yet. And the best part is, It looks like im going to have plenty this season. So all in all I have to say that Im once again very pleased with the Mango Haze, and although I didnt seem to find the fruitier phenotypes this particular MH has a very distinct hazey taste to her and the buzz is definitely top shelf quality already. Im willing to bet Santa is going to love this tray of ganja I leave out him for him this year upon his entrance from a top the chimney :)

Hey everyone,
So the Mango Haze was a big hit tonight with an old hippy whom Ive known for many a year now. No stranger to good cannabis, he has been relegated to smoking low grade mexican with the occassional nice local variety floating his way. But nothing like the Mango Haze, which I knew before hand :D So I went over to visit, casually packed the bowl up and handed it too him. The smile that came acrossed his face was almost immediate, and I knew the Mango Haze had made yet another fan in the world of ganja. The lingering sweet, musky and peppery smell was enough to bring another bloke from upstairs down to investigate. It is a safe bet to assume the Mango Haze did what it was suppost to do, and left everyone quite happy and impressed with the characteristics of this Haze hybrid.

The older timer said he was going to share the MH with his usual source for ganja as proof that his complaints about the quality of the herb they usually acquire is warranted.

I just smoked a bowl myself, it aint getting any worse folks. Let me tell ya. Absolutely brilliant Cannabis. I was called Dr. GreenThumb tonight :D :D Which is always a good thing to hear, but the truth is the credit goes to Shantibaba, Neville and those at MNS. All I did was plant the seed and watch them grow :)

Peace

Now, next time those mutthafukkas needs some trees, they gonna be like "Let's call that mu-fukka JessE, he got that pif. I KNOW he smoke us out."

LOL, how cool does it feel to just slide in and out of places with the best trees that people have seen in recent memory??? :D Stay with that haze, bro. You will get that a LOT... I gotta get some MH in my life.

EDIT - How is it in the 30's? Warm? LOL

Hey Herb :)
How are you doing my friend? As always you're a welcomed addition to anyones thread. Thanks for stopping in compadre :) Below are a couple updates I took a matter of hours ago now. We are approaching day 70 flower, Im liking my chances of cracking into November this season. Although I am growing in a green house, there is no electricity and thus its an unheated housing unit. A thin sheet of polyeurathane seperates the plants from the outside elements, but I have to think Ive gotten my $11 worth out of her already.

Update

The picture above is a few days old now, but below is the same photographed just a few hours ago now.The weather was outstanding today and even during the later part of the evening it was rather warm, as I mentioned in another thread 10 days to 2 weeks and Im calling it a season. Should be in the late 70 to 80 + day range by then. The plants are looking awesome! A pity I had to harvest portions of the plants early, but bud rot is nobody friend.
