Howdy folks :)
I noticed a good discussion going in another thread about the benefits of a good cure, and thought to add a picture of another local variety that is actually some what famous in this area that was grown outdoors in a reveared mountainous region south, southwest of here. Its known as "Puke Weed", but dont let the name fool you (as it did me) lol. Its actually quite good cannabis, and as you can see has received a proper cure. The name "Puke Weed" in my opinion is attached losely to quality varietys of cannabis in this area that have lung busting abilitys. But according to those who say they know, its an actual strain of marijuana thats been grown here over 50 years.

This Puke Weed looks very nice man

Hows the taste like? Seems nicely grown and quite trichome covered.

Hey L33t :)
The taste is very earthy, with some minor fruity undertones. Definitely some good herb, cant complain for sure.

Plants look wonderful, J. What is your early estimate for harvest? ~Oct 15-20? I got a reprieve, I'm getting warm drizzle, not a driving, cold, rain. I have a few plants that are ~ like that last MH, and I have ~Oct 5-10 figgured weather permitting. How would you compare the SSH to the MH thus far?

Great grow and pix!!! :D :D

Hey Barletta :)
The Super Silver Haze has stayed alot more managable than the Mango Hazes, which was what I was expecting to a certain extent. My SSH is a rather squat, bushy 'lil gal with an untold number of bud sites at this point. Its still early yet, but already there is a respectable amount of resin clearly visible on the premature buds. This SSH is definitely a faster phenotype, but Ive seen faster actually. Nothing to kick out of your garden thus far, believe me.

In contrast, the Mango Hazes are both over 7 feet now. I believe Shanti mentioned once that the SSH was more of a variety for the grower, in comparison to the Mango Haze which is more of a variety for the smoker. I would have to think Shanti was spot on in that description.

As for harvest time, who knows? So far the weather is holding up real nice in my neck of the woods, but I do expect that to change any time now to be honest with you. Im going to let them go until its clear they cant go any further, but mid October sounds pretty reasonable all things considered. Im going to try to squeeze a little extra out of mother nature this year. :)

nice cola my man.... keep up the good work farmer:)

True, it is very nice to see you posting on the forum again. :)
I hope that you're well my friend, and hope to see you around the board more often. Thank you for the kind words, Ive admired your work as well brother.

Hey everyone :)
This has been the busiest season for me to date, with the last couple weeks spent hauling material to build a temporary Greenhouse for the remainder of the season. So far the weather is holding up great, but the possibility of frost is looming only a few weeks away. A green house is new territory for me to be honest with you, but all things considered its not so bad. Ive invested a total of $3 into the green house, with all of the materials being salvaged from around the house, job sites etc. The dimensions are roughly 8 x 8, large enough to house all of my plants fairly easily. Its a little cramped, but much better than their previous position for the last three months. Its all a waiting game from here on out I suspect.

Having tested a black strap mollasses recipe earlier this year on tomatoe plants, with extremely favorable results being noticed I decided to go ahead and give my girls a feeding this after noon. Ill probably keep it up once a week until the end of the season, should be interesting to see what, if any, affect it has on the girls. Ive used various fertilizer recipes this season, from organic to full on salt based fertilizers, but to be honest theyve received mainly water throughout the entire grow unless otherwise noted. I had been socking the nutes to them earlier in growth, but slowly ceased the feedings down to only very occassionally up until this point.

I love the MNS gang

Hi JessE ,

They look amazing , hope the Frost don't get ya :) Greenhouse sounds great :) good luck Bro , peace

J that sounds very cool if you pull it off. I'll be tellin people someday - "..dood online had a lil impromptu GH he put up ~Oct1..." :) The plants look GREAT, and I'm seeing more and more 'family' resemblance bet your MH (pictured above) and my MW outside.

Good luck with the upcoming cold. I've put my mind at ease by setting Oct 10 as the day, rain or shine (frost changes things, lol). Are you a baseball fan? One of the marketing slogans for the playoffs is - 'There's only 1 October.' I love that. :D

Hey folks :)

First frost hit last night, and Im happy to report the girls are doing just fine. The weather is looking great outside this afternoon, everything appears to be kosher.

Hey herb :)
Thanks for stopping in my friend, Ill see if I cant get a good picture up before the end of the thread.
