Master Widow (MasterKushSkunk x Black Widow)

So many crosses are made from Widow and Afghan. Mohan Ram from Sweet Seeds comes to mind ;). Widow Grail, Northern Widow, SSHxWidow just to name a few, make for strong and fragrant plants. Widow males are legendary!

Just like their creator.
Exactly !!!

& by the end of week 5
- this one is pretty robust
- smelling off chocolatte coffee
- full of resin
- and the buds are great size on whole plant not just top, top is growing to all sides too ..

I love these creations very much. . .
I wish I could plant 4x4 sea of green with this pheno . . .

Start of week 7 flowering
- from the looks I believe I will be making parentage of Master Widow & Northern Widow as the bud structure reminds me both females and I believe both will be my keepers for some time...

Lemony smelling PCK
- near its end

At the end of week 7 (from when first flowers emerged) I seriously think, next update would be about hanging upside down, and I believe it is very near.
This so far was some serious ride, from which I have kept clones of everything.
Let these pictures do more talking by themselves. . .

Iam still to consider if to keep PCK or not, I will first try it, it smells of these lemon fruit drops, so we will see, it also have nice visuals but keep very small, it is not good producer at all, nice trichome coverage, but it is so far behind overall. I have pollinated it with ASH ibl male, so mybe I will stick to these someday, maybe it will help its overall stature and things could be better.

CBD Nordle smells of afghani as it should, it is only plant that should keep budding few days more, but overall It is very pretty and full of trichs, it is CBD in the end, so I believe I can hang it too.

CBD NDL top.jpg

Master Widow is serious plant with pretty heavy buds, very good structure and pretty invigorating smells of grounded coffee with bit of sweet hash added on top.
I do love her, like her far sister Northern Widow, should be good marriage in the future too :)

All three plants are going for some curing right now :)
The smells are evolving and have become quite strong lately :D
Here some quick shots how these look now, and from now on, only time needed for proper cure.
So expect some nice trichome loaded buds picture merges once dried enought to my liking ;)

I have discarded this PCK clone
-but still have some seeds made with ASH IBL male, I will try these out someday :)

CBD Nordle
- it is like afghani with some heavy skunk behind, it fills the room quite quickly :)
- good harvest, as you can see the bowl is overfilled :)

Master Widow
- the smells are progressing pretty fast, yesterday it was like widow kush (deep onion), today it is more fruity smelling widow hybrid smell, just a bit of kushiness left, I wonder where it will find its end at :)
So far tasty !
- also pretty big harvest with quite solid buds + the colors reminds me of Northern Kush (so Iam glad I have saved a clone here)

Master Widow.JPG

PakistanChitralKush
- it is smelling like fresh lemon, progressing to lemony-orange drops
- harvest is pretty small, buds are not that much solid
*(carabiner is my method of marking seeded branch)

Master Widow Vape report

Overall the plant yielded quite some nice amount of bigger size buds.
I have kept these buds in pretty slow curing process for quite some time, but I believe it is still not over.
Buds are still bit spongy, but also hard on press.
It is that kind of bud, where litlle bit becomes big amount of matter when crumbled, it will not crumble into dust.
Trichomes are, like if turned to glue on the bud surface.

Smell wise I got big expectations at first, but these didnt fullfilled to the max.
It has become subtle wibe of kushy smell with hints of fruits in the background. It has become quite a stealthy stash.

Taste is overall like what you can get with most afghani indicas, but not on the same level of satisfaction as some phenos of Nordle I vaped for example.
I got mostly afghani herbal tastes, the taste keeps up until the end of the vape session, so in the end I can say I enjoy it, but nothing for picky tongue.

If you are in search for power, this pheno should be it.
What starts by immeddiate low level head high, continues to exhaust head functionality completely, slowly overwhelming your mind.
I cannot think of any other simmillar strain, but Rhino.
That is what I know from Rhino, as if someone puts cloudy cape on your head and youre literally exhausted by everything.
You will not become whited out, but seriously ill for some moment.
As you start to think you can try doing things, it will quickly remind you, that youre still in therapeutic care :D

Good example for this one pheno I have tried so far. There will be more to come this year hopefully.

Iam making few clones for outdoor, but If even more cure doesnt bring somethin more to the flavours, I will discard the mother plant and search for another.
Still plenty of Master Widow seeds to search from and I believe there should be some better gem.
But this plant is serious performer in regards of its power for sure :)

I also made few seeds with Master Widow male, so you can see few ;)

So, to be continued. . .

Can you say hirsute lol?

Recently I gave my almost unused Sanlight Q6W gen 2.1 to good friend with MS,
but on condition that he buys top equipment and help me out to test something.
So he bought 120x60 homebox ambient with AC infinity ventilation set and here we are :)
(I have to tell you, the fan is exceptionally quiet & with good price tag also)

Last thing to do was, to gave him some Master Widow seeds, as he is in need of some proper medicine :)
Plant on the right is my Master Widow cut. Three on the left are his cuts of outdoor Master Widows.

This is his first ever indoor grow so far.
So I thought him my supersoil formula and up he goes !

In the meantime, I will try to obtain some pics of these flowering beasts !!
They are at first week flowering, and are smelling like worn socks with hints of some fruits :giggle: .
My cut is more on fruity side, without socks :)
