Master Widow (MasterKushSkunk x Black Widow)

Few things to note at first.
Light is now set on 150W maximum power.
And circulating fan is on.

I got some tacoing on leafs of Master Widow female and I find what was the cause.
And it was the power of LED, so right height was set and now everything looks as good as it can.
So trust manufacturer about hanging height !

Other method would be (obviously I looked that one up elsewhere so passing it here )
-If leafs are overly praing upwards, that means, hey, we wanna more light !!
-If the leafs are more likely horizontal, it is about right.
-When they bow down like if overwatered, yet the soil is dry - check light height !


**Ehm, and next week I will be ammending soil with palm ash + batguano


So lets start this new year with male Master Widow first
- it now has some fresh to kushy smells on its top parts, the stem rub reveals fruity body smell with sweet kushy undertones
- structure is pretty ideal to me, it is like bush with some tree shapes, its lower parts structure seems like it can push heavier weights
- colourfull he is, it is deep green with emerald hues
- some resin can be seen on its pretty nice leafs
- also very resilient, it is not getting LED light, it sits in my room
I believe he will atract some women here and there on his way




Then female Master Widow3
- still reveals some coffee smells, plus slight sweet kush smell
- structure is pretty okay, it is like bush, secondary branching is more inside and growing near main stem, so I had pruned 4 fan leafs and make them branches stretch a bit
- colours are not that deep as male, but still same smaragd hues
- slowly starting to flower
I love her smells




PCK (my dwarf cut)
- she can behave, yet one need to wait for everything else (like rooting & growing)
- just slight smells, cannot guess right now
- picking some violet tints on stem and some leaf parts
- colours are pretty aswell, some pale, some satin green
- flowering is fast




and CBD Nordle
- catching some nice & girls like sweet perfume smells
- structure is very best for me and my growspace, that I can tell
- colours rich, vibrant and overall very uniform
- she does like a lot of light and water

-smells of slightly sweet skunky kush, full but not owerpowered smell
-nice branches & male buds structure
-good overall vitality
I will keep him as my main male stock plant for a while




Master Widow 3
-still this decent coffee smell !
-bottom parts buds are good sized too !!
(1x times bigger buds than PCK / half as CBD Nordle)




PCK
-decent lemon peal like smell
-fast budding
-purple to almost black colours

-nice plant, seem like good producer




Master Widow 3
-looking and smelling pretty good
-after helping the lower branches spreead a bit, it produces some good sized buds there too




PCK
-starts to smell fruity sweet
-buds are very leafy
-the colours are pretty
-one bud was pollenated by ASH4m

Today will be a „story day“


So Lets start up with PCK this time.
It seems it is happening (x with ASH4male)
- this time, not to mess up, I had turned off circulating fan, also immeddiately after touching with the brush, I had covered whole bud in plastic bag
- after three days I have removed plastic bag and sprayed whole plant with water




CBD Nordle
- she is literally fan of medieval era...
look at that spear :O
- Iam glad I made clone of her




And finally Master Widow 3
- now she started some pumping Id say !
- trich production is fast
much more faster than CBD Nordle, which I would have believed should be faster from my previous experience
- smells are delightfull, progressing to sweet smells
but bits off coffee still there

Oh, and I pollenated bottom bud with Master Widow male, as he wanted to pollenate her.
*He told me after some excellent seance with Nevilles Haze Mango vape*

& Master Widow 3
development at 4th week I believe

- I wanted to show you, how good of a producer Master Kush Skunk x Black Widow is at this stage in my eyes (atleast this pheno)
- the whole plant have around 50 cm, and have just about stopped gaining height
- bud size is overall very good (photos represents Upper / mid / lower part buds , so take acloser look)

I'd be more than happy with that level of production on the lower canopy! Looks like a crazy beautiful plant.

Nearing the end of week 4 flowering
- I have ammended top layer of soil with two spoons of batguano and two full hands of wormcasting.
Stirred carefully into top layer of soil and watered with 6.1 pH water with few mililitres of biocanna boost.

Some bottom leafs fell off, as they turned yellow.
But overall plants are doing majestic work !

Expect some macro shots once the buds starts to catch the colours !!


CBD Nordle
- structure wise, that is the benchmark for Nordle to me !
- smells are afghani like, no fruits, just a hints of skunk, and slightly sweet side like perfume (yummy)
- earlier, I wouldnt even imagined this depth of buds could be achievable using 150W LED, but here it is..

Expecting great harvest of CBD buds for my painy back here !
Hopefully it will not stone me to couch, as I need this pain reliever for workouts, as this combo helps the best.




Master Widow
- structure is good looking, tho it needed a lot of work on bottom parts, using plastic „elbows“
- on the other hand, look how full and relatively big these golf ball buds are becoming, even on bottom parts
- smells are, as Id like to say, deep-hash-ground smell (kushy) with hints of coffee (it reminds me of black widow male I grew as my 1st MNS grow)
- overall very pretty plant, growing mainly on autopilot
- also seems like lot of trichomes for the end of 4th week
- kept both male & female as a clone

Pollenated by her sibling male that looked almost exactly as this lady, tho with slightly better structure, who knows what awaits there




PCK
- this plant have structure of very low stature bush
- the smells are transforming from lemon peals to acidic fruity drops
this smell is why I have kept a clone, as I have never smelled that one before, it is really like opening drops package and smelling the candies inside
- it produces lots of trichomes, and getting these violet hues, but overall she is not the greatest plant in my eyes

So hopefully, the cross using ASH4male will deliver some boost to the structure and vigor, as my ASH ibls have cured into some nice & fruity buds

Master Widow is switching in between coffee-kush to chocolate-kush smells, it is not loud, but full and sweet ( cappuccino ?) !
Bud structure is filling out nicely, the seed bud is also good looking, with few developing seeds.




CBD Nordle is smelling the same as previously, it is afghani with hints of skunk
Buds are also filling here, these are simply massive!




PCK is smelling like citruses already, it is like lemon with hints of kush
Buds are small, they are just catching colours right now, hope to get some seeds from seedbud, if these are there, then masked inside.

Iam gonna need to make some sort of tea for the plants at that stage I believe...

Yes, cbd nordle was good for my back pain. I have tried classic nordle fornthat aswell. but it put me in sleep state, so I dont know

That's interesting to know mate, I really need a good night time strain to help me with back pain and sleep so regular Nordle sounds perfect for my needs
My problem will be deciding which strain first out of Nordle, Medicine Man, NL5 x Afghan, G13 x Afghan Skunk, Ortega, and whichever other heavy indica / Afghani seeds I've forgotten buying
Plus I was given half a pack of Sensi Seeds Shiva Shanti the other day so option paralysis will probably kick in

I believe for sleeping the Medman could be best, but regular Nordle is great for sleeping.
I have also tried G13xAfghanSkunk that didnt put you out of socks, but was very good for sleep quality...

Well here's hoping for a couple of socks knocked off of you mate
The best cannabis I've ever had was in a packet of seeds my friend from Canada bred himself. It was called Weeping Widow, and was a cross between White Widow and Afghani or Kush. Wow it was very potent and was special to grow. Unfortunately I only ever had the chance of one packet of seeds and there were no more available to me when the line died after I got the dreaded knock at the door 20 years ago, and my beautiful Weeping Widows were unceremonially ripped from the soil and dumped in a plastic bin liner. I even told the copper 'you have no idea what you've just killed!'

Anyway, nothing else ever came close to my Weeping Widow either before or after my loss, but your Master Kush Skunk x Widow might just be the closest thing that I've seen to my old Weeping, so I've got my fingers crossed that they are.
I've got a couple of Mr Nice Widow crosses, Mango x Widow, G13 x Widow, Shark Shock, and Medicine Man, and they all have the potential to be close to my old Weeping Widow, and that would really make my day

Seeing as Medicine Man's genetic makeup is Black Widow and an Afghani, that might be a good starting point.

So many crosses are made from Widow and Afghan. Mohan Ram from Sweet Seeds comes to mind . Widow Grail, Northern Widow, SSHxWidow just to name a few, make for strong and fragrant plants. Widow males are legendary!
