hi resinbud , hiya hempy,
Some updates , 94 day from seed now , the light regime is 10/14 and the plants are almost done , gonna take em down in a couple of days , there are some amber trichs on most phenos especially the faster plants are almost 40-60% amber , thought to leave em go dead ripe..Here is a nice MangoHaze bud closeup from a sample bud from one of the best yielding hazy phenos. Its from a very tall plant with beautiful hazy smell but the buds are rock hard on this particular hazy pheno..though sativa looking , long and pointy. I 'd say this specific one is my favorite plant in the garden from all the 17 MH ladies and is a nice yielder too.
Beautiful flowers , a real pleasure to watch em patiently blossom , thanks for the great genetics Shanti.
Hey man hope all is well with you. Well about macro lenses , usually most macro lenses in the market are optimized for low magnifications usually only up to 1x . If you want to shoot trichome closeups then you need a different approach and you can get a very cheap macro setup for under 150-300 usd. All you need is a cheap 16mm cine lens and use it reversed mounted on a bellows (or on extension tubes).. If you want a lens for sharp bud close ups around 1:2 or 1:1 magnification , then you'd need a good macro lens (50mm or 100mm for your camera format ) that goes up to 1:1 magnification on its own (just the lens / without any extension). Its a fun hobby to shoot trichome macros really enjoy it myself .looking real nice l33t the macro shots look great to i started to look at getting a macro lense for my camera and nearly fell off my chair when i saw the price ranges and diffrent lenses avaluble for diffrent aplications here i thort i had a good lens turns out the one i got with my slr is the cheepest in the range lol.
