I've seen this in Neville's Haze.My favourite female has nodes / bud sites with three branches sprouting out at each node. In my short growing career I haven’t seen this before, but I’m excited about it!! Should make for some large top colas if it continues??
According to Google the technical term is called “whorled phyllotaxy” or trifoliate. Apparently it may lead to increased yield.

Can't say that these were better performing than the others but can't say that they were worse neither.
They did outgrow it later in flower and the cuts from these didn't show it later on.
I do recall one branch from a cut showing it on one node but that's it.
It does seem to pop up in the MNS hazes.
Another feature that shows up a bit more in the MNS hazes is the first set of leaves after the cotelyledons counting 3 fingers instead of just 1.
Plan on some serious LST/pinching/topping.
