I agree good genetics are good genetics.
In dj's book he says the best hawaiin he has grown on the mainland or indoors were at best midgrade compared the same strain grown outdoors in Hawaii.
Dj probably was growing them in pac nw. A far cry from the sunny beaches of Hawaii or Oz. So I think it's safe to say climate or indoor to outdoor does make a difference.
I have not grown much outdoor but I can say that best indoor would not compare to the best outdoor.
I was more curious as to whether or not kanga, yourself or anyone noticed that. Knowing that kanga has travelled and collected a fair share of beans.
I have found that some plants make the transition to indoors quite well and some don't. It is hard to judge which ones will do well and which won't, but I have noticed that plants that can survive on just a few hours of direct sunlight per day, tend to do better indoors, than plants which require lots of direct sunlight to finish properly.
Also, I have yet to find a plant that was bred for indoor cultivation which does not do ok outdoors.
hempy , i know how to grow sativas indoors all is cool in the sativa indoor room , its just not as good as outdoor with some specimens ... enough said though ,, we will keep going in circles as we already are .. cheers hempy ...
Hi Wally
How are you doing out there in duck land? Do you have any pictures of your indoor sativa grows to share with us? Good to see you made it out safe from the cyclone.
Cheers![]()
