Hi Kanga,

All this news is great to hear - good to know the right guys are on the job!

Sounds like all the ingredients are there and now it's discovering the magic combination.

We'll all be keeping an eye on how the plans are evolving.

Ok the Grail is in full swing now with Nev here, so at the moment testing is being done on the Seeded Oaxacan buds to select the one:D
Next we will look at the Mullum Madness and then the MM x Mex.
Also currently growing is the Hawaiian x Vietnam Black, pure Hawaiian and Hawaiian x G13.....The latter 2 being from fem seeds. I cannot comment on weather these plant are less vigorous as I do not have them in regular to compare. I also did not have any problems with hermies up until this point and the plants are growing as normal as any other. I also must state that these Hawaiian strains are from a excellent breeder of good standing.
We are also in the proccess of starting seeds from Colombian Gold, Airbourne G13, Afghan Purple haze, Purple Thai and from the Mr Nice stock, NL#5 x Skunk and NL#5 x Afghan as we are exploring which Indica will prove to be the best in 25% of the new hybrid.
Next week we will also be starting original F1 Nev Haze seeds which are from Haze C x 5Haze A. We may suffer some germanation problems but hopefully we will get enough:D
Also in the garden is a Skunk which Nev last made in 2004 and he says is from his better line that he did, although this one is a bit lighter smelling than others, but still has the nice bud structure and resin production.
More detail smoke reports will be put up at a later date when the selection has been made of each strain.
We would also like to say a big thank you to the Members who donated there seeds and also the ones that made the offers, unfortunetly we are not able to grow every single strain, although believe me looking at all the pics put up of members strains it would be a dream to be able to do so:D
Well its off to testing again, which means another day of total tripped, spaced out day only to be interupted by a stronger smoke taking you higher than the one before.
ohh and one more thing lets keep this civil please coz if it gets shitty its easy to turn the comp off and nothing gets told until its finished.
This is the start of the Grail and it will be, when we are able, updated from start to finish.

G'Day all, Well here we are with another update:D
The Oaxacan has now been smoked and seed selected for the next step. We found some very nice smoke and considering we smoked immature seeded buds the high range came in from 7-9, with one we gave the name Trance, this is for you dance people:D, Another was stargazer.....and we smoked this during the day:D
Nev carried the torch today and smoked the MM and then I waited till the end of the day and handed him a nice unseeded MM bud. Well quarter of his joint later and he is back sitting on the couch......Got him...lol
NevHZ F1's seeds went in to soak today as well, could be we might have germanation problems as these seeds are old. But I am sure we will get something.
Today we found something that had a nice nutty, with underlying fruit smell.....still to be smoked, but I will give a report back later on that one as it is really nice.
Nev is saying that a nice cross with the MM to the original cup winning SSH would be very nice......will get back on that one as well.

G'day Kangativa, Thanks for the updates of the steps and movements with your good self and Nev. You two have opened up a massive vortex of energy, I bet. It feels really good knowing some green treasure is being created as we speak and on our shores. I also feel really priveleged to be one amongst many here on the MNS forum to be able witness what you're sharing with us.

A little goes a long way mate, so once again a sincere thank you.

The photos have brought everything to life I will add. Power on ye west Aussies.:D:

Not sure about the Foster's Lager though. You see, we specifically produce that stuff for the UK market, where they like warm flat piss, as a thank you for sending all our convict progenitors out here 200 years ago.:D

Last night after the MM he went to bed and he still had crazy movies flashing in his head.......a little bit of Madness you might say.

Thanks for the updates, kanga. Putting nev down can't be easy, so that must be some bomb ass MM. Hoping for the best for you guys on your quest.

A friend from Australia tells me Fosters is like the Aussie version of budweiser and I guess you guys agree. I'm not partial to it, but I'm not going to turn my nose up at it either. Beer is good, period.

That meal looked fantastic, Doc Purps! Lobster and asparagus is good stuff!

Must be surreal to actually be able to say that from first hand experience .
