Ive used this male before with NL and Skunk,it is a good male,his offspring are sweet and resinous. Will be the first time Ive crossed it to a female that takes longer than the male to flower...should be interesting.

I harvested a bit of Pollen from 3 males so far. I got a sufficient amount to do 5 crosses today and 2 crosses Yesterday.

Yeah they look real cool. Real solid heavy dense buds too. I fed them organicly. They got their last shot of grow fert on Christmas day, and their last bud fert on Jan 5th. Nothing but clear water since then. Cool nights dipping into the high 40s F

The plants are at day 68 now. Trinity Gold suggested I take them to day 77 for full weight and ripeness. (11 weeks)

sitting here, far away from civilisation, smoking some nameless stuff .... tho its all a sub species from balkan sativas ...

now, its funny for me to read all this haze - crapping and downwatering ...

why ?

there is no commercial strain which can improve original haze

all haze hybrids r crap, in that sense that they dont contribute to the haze high

i had them all, herrer, skunkXhaze, nl5Xhaze, flash, sage, amnesia ... and so on, havent had mango nor nevills ... (its sure the same, leave ur money to me strain)

and all have 1 in common, they r crap ...

and why ?

bc some nameless stuff, balkan sativa, hits me for the first time for 6 years, since my last o.haze grow ....

and that all makes me angry, i tried out more than 50 strains, maybe 100 ... and there were max 5 commercial strains, that were worth .... one of them o.h

its a waste of time ... maybe my interest is different from others, but i could bet, that ppl want something that gets them high , like landraces do for exampl, contrary to those commercail strains...

im sorry that i had to put u all down to the floor of reality, and of course i wish u all luck with ur crossings, i asked some question, didnt get answers..

eciwo, seedselection, seedsorting machines and all that ...

no question is dumb, but its dumb not to answer them

im thankful, that mother nature, with help of some growers, opend my eyes ...

a handfull makes sense, everything else is gimme ur money crap genetic

deran. I do believe the reality you speak of is yours. Mine (and others) is somewhat different. My reality concludes that the "Haze" was an anomaly. A random convergence of buzz potentials. With the loss of the original strains, or perhaps even the original plant, it's been a slow but certain drift away from it's origin. But that's not to say that "Haze" can't be rediscovered or even rebuilt.
I have confidence in Nevil and near certainty that "Haze" hasn't been lost forever, especially with all the knowledge and experience MNS growers and breeders are supporting him with. IMO it's just a matter of time.

yes, we all have different goals and ideas of what cannabis could/should fit to ours

as a long time grower, o.h. was one of the rare strains that i couldnt smoke on daily basis ... like tripping on lsd each day (if it cuold be possible with lsd)

and these rare expiriences is what im missing, true that o.h. was a selected acid pheno, and thats exactly what im missing today ... everything became so monodimensional high-wise, i understand the need for indoor formats, for fast harvest turnarounds, and what else ...

i just humbly want back those highs :) which i remeber ...

I've got 20 of Sam's 13 or 14 year old OG Haze seeds on ice that need a good home ;) if that helps anybody. I won't be growing them in this lifetime.

I always heard Sam's selection leaned towards Thai. I know he'd approve for the sake of unity in the community.

Although I think they were F3's (?) even back then. Many were saying that his haze needed to be bred to something else to bring it's qualities out. Maybe some F2's of those F3's need to be grown out and some selection done before finding a possibility.

Also, the Ace sativa's good for a good homie...The Banghi's, the Meaow's, the biogens, the GT's, the Green's and the various combinations thereof etc...Although I think none other than Dubi and Charlie themselves are on record saying that the hazes (including their green) are the shiz, for all intents and purposes.

I live near Santa Cruz

I started smokin weed in the summer of 1969. We had everything in the 70s. All kinds of good overseas bud and sticks, from Colombia, Panama, Thailand, Viet Nam, Laos, Mexico,Cambodia, Hawaii. We also had the Original Haze. It wasnt always electric back then either. It wasnt always the same looking either.
Dont worry Brother, We know what We are looking for. I use mostly seeds from seed banks , but I also have plenty of landrace seed to work with as well.:cool:

My Younger Son stopped by, and checked out My Sativa/ Haze female tent, and the Headband at 10 weeks tent, but, he ended up spending most of his time with the budding Males in another part of the House.

He was transfixed on the males, and checked each label to see what Ive got. He was asking flowering times, and wanted to discuss possible crosses with the plants and clones He has. He wanted the pollen from Mango Haze, Oaxacan, and Nevilles Haze.

He also almost lost his cookies when He saw the VietnamBlack/Thai,. He wants that pollen too. He has a Chemdog91, a SFV OG Kush, Purple Kush, Sour Diesel, and an antique seed collection from a Humboldt grower that rivals My own.

He used to get Me to trade Him a Fosters 24 oz beer for each seed from his collection. He has old seeds that sprout. Now He wants to bring Me clones to trade for Pollen.

Is that picture the Vietnam/Thai male? I don't blame him for wanting to cross that into his collection - I would too.

EDIT: If he really wants some of that pollen, make him trade you clones AND beer for it! Gotta use that upper hand while you've got it...

I have a load of old Panama Red seeds, gonna try to germ em when I finish the Colombian Gold reproductions. Fingers crossed eh?
