A buddy of mines and I think shantis, gifted me some seeds that I'm in the process of getting into some soil.The cross is as I was told,Matrix Haze. It is 30% G13(real G13 from Shanti's G13/Skunk) 30% Haze(1/2 Positronics Haze #19 and 1/2 Nevil's Haze), 30% Skunk and 10% Northern Lights #2. I hope it is a winner.The haze that was used by Dutchflowers was Wernard's favorite, Positronics #19. The G13/SK was created by Neville and passed to Shantibaba.Now I don't know how accurate all the info is but my question is what expression should i look for that would best resmble Positronics #19 Haze.I believe the goal was to get the Haze high but in at leat 9-10 weeks.Once things get stable at the casda, I will post picks and a grow report.The first gifts that I received that were G13/Skunk x Haze were awesome.Great yield and not for light weight tokers or peeps with anxiety.Instant dry mouth with distorted reality similar to some old school Aussie smoke.Thanks for the thread Nevil.Lets stay on track guys.Information rules the nation.

BH with all due respect how old are you were you around when lines like pan red were grown no i am thinking and there is a reason the strain was called panama red that is because the flowers were red makes sense no.

Green phinos ? in a pure lines BH you threw 10 seeds down you got 10 plants of the same genetic make up they had the same look smell flavor and high only sex veryed male female and hermies but dont rember seeing hermies in the pan reds.

You know what is ludicrous mate people talking about things they have no clue on then when some one speaks up and tries to educate others is shot down by the same people.

I used to get panama red. It was covered in red hairs which made the buds have a reddish appearance, the stuff I used to get was pretty mild as compared to some of the columbian and mexican stuff I used to smoke.

doesn't the soil the plant is grown in have something to do with the color?
Would make sense if it was all a similar cultivator but would have differences due to location and acclimatization.

id say for sure coop ,
climate , soil and all the other factors will bring out colours .

ive never grown a landrace where all the plants were the same ,
isnt thats what we love about them ? the diversity ??
they may show similar traits , but the plants vary a lot .

ive grown ace's panama , really lovely erb ,, nice spicey taste and great high ,

The best deal

was the Colombian Red back in 1974-76. It was very dark red, some so red it was almost black. It was so damn gooey, and had a great flavor. It had a heavier high, and made everyones eyes real real red.
I cant remember how much the pounds were, but the ounces were going for 40 bucks. Real good price for the amount of THC and Cabinibinoids in that stuff

I just got home from work and there are 4 patrol cars parked all over the street, 2 doors down from Me. Luckily the Indica tent is closed, and the filter is working, and You cant smell bud outside today. You could smell it 2 days ago. I wish those fuckers would leave. I wanna smoke a joint. Something must have gone down there for there to be that many cops there.

Panama

My dad was in the army and was stationed in Panama. They arrived in '73, me just a little twinkle in his eye but he has shared a few stories of the fabled Panama Red. Along with the iguanas and roachs was good ganja, the best he ever smoked. The local story was it was a convergence of the great central american varieties, a hybrid. Mexican, columbian, jamaican, south american, a 'haze' if you will, an F1 of great sativas. It makes sense since Panama is the isthmus of the americas and given the time frame it was around. I wasnt there so dont hold me accountable for word of mouth but i tend to beleive him.

Your Dad sounds like Hes a few years older then Me. Hes lucky He didnt end up in the Meat Grinder (Vietnam). I was worried about that one. I never did register for the draft.

My Uncle was stationed in Panama around 58 or 59. They told Me about the Roaches. Biggest in the world.... They come up out of the kitchen and bathroom drains at night, and wander around. My Aunt went in to check on My Cousin in the night. He was a tiny baby in the Crib, and there was a giant cochroach getting a drink in his mouth. It was so big, it filled his mouth and he was choking. She pulled it out of there quick. After that they covered all drains at night.

Lucky him

The roach stories him and my mom would tell are just unimaginable, tells you something about the enviroment...HOT as HELL! and humid. There were so many huge iguanas that the locals ate them regulary, 'tastes like chicken' he said. Yeah he got lucky and tested out high or something and got stationed there as information security and transport. They brought back some amazing items/culture with them. My moms brother was a doc in vietnam and there are some crazy stories from there too. I have possesion of alot of the things they all brought back, chests, statues, ect. they are my most prized possesions in the world.

I'm not sure Nevil how she smoked, though I have grown and smoked the Angola Red x Thai from ACE. The Angola Red is the same as pictured above, it is a very trippy high combined with a pure THC, speed weed high type from the Thai side. The high is very clear and somewhat happy and euphoric but very clean and somewhat soaring. The Angola Red x Thai with a good 3 month or more is where this type of strain really stands out. The curing brings out the amazing flavors like a mentholated sweet guava, truly unique from other strains I've grown. Anyway the cure brings out the better qualities more soaring, colorful visuals, and a trippy. Great stuff, I really liked mixing the Sengel haze with its burgundy port wine flavors with the Angola x Thai, some amazing smoke.
