I think that we should talk a closer look at this Black Haze Snowhigh. Can you describe the high, smell and taste relative to the NH?

These pics were taken by me from my friends finished Black Haze to give you an example of this Haze line.

the green haze pic above has a similar growth to the sk/hz i grew from mns
the black haze from BC sounds amazing
pure hazeXpurple haze X colombian black if im correct ?im curious is the pure haze the green pheno?
im curious wat does a nigerian pheno hav to do wit this line ?
i havnt seen nigerian reported in the black haze lineage
i understand th colombian black is thought to be afro-colombian having a african descent long wit som other colombian lines ,if their is any relation you kno of wit colombian black and nigerian gentics id lov to hear more about it
as neville asked id lov to hear more of a description on the TASTE/AROMAS and the high of this black haze
aswell on the green haze pheno ,im most interested in taste/aromas
i hav recently suggested a pure colombian black ,which seed stock is being made of ,this CB along wit CG are 2 lines ive been intrigued by and are on my mot wanted list at the top actually ,i think both might make great candidates

Well Bigherb, I wouldn't swear on a kilo of Haze Hash, that he told me that he grew them himself.
I seem to remember one batch had a number of years mixed together something like '66,'67,'68. A prominent ancestor was a thing called "Burning Bush". If Sam didn't grow burning bush then the person that did will be able to tell us more.
Everything useful was from before 1970. The one plant that came up from '70 batch, Omega, was at best 25% haze and didn't make the grade.

One of the males I crossed it with was Ruderalis x NL1 X NL1. I was testing a 25% Ruderalis male on the most difficult plant I'd come across to see what it would do. I used all the seed I had to find the earliest male for the next generation. I grew the females out and because it was so resinous, I made hash out of it. To this day it was the best hash I've ever smoked, and I've been privileged to have smoked the best.
I truly regret not having made a cutting of that plant. I didn't make that mistake with the 6 that followed.
I'm feeling a bit sad now, I think that I'll go and have a smoke.
I'll tell you the rest later.

"
I'll start with an example.
If I buy a Dog, say a Bullmastiff, I can get one with or without papers. I might buy two brothers one with and one without papers. The one with papers is registered with the Kennel Society. You will get a pedigree certifying its parentage and ancestry clearly stating who bred what. His name might be "Chef vom Frankental" If you breed with this dog, as is your right, because you paid for the dog and it's registered name, you get to call the offspring what you want, you get to say that Chef was a son of the famous "Ladyface vom Frankental" and generally ride on the coat tails of the Frankental stud. Why, because you paid for it and it was a Frankental dog.
With the unregistered brother, you don't get these rights.

Hey BH,
We've spoken before, thanks for the respect brother.
The Black Haze is actually Pure Haze (Purple Haze pheno) x Colombian Black.
Pure Haze is all of the combinations of Haze, Green, Purple and others. I believe the Pure Haze was grown from 100 to 200 seeds from Old Timers Haze not from ACE lines. These were open pollinated with all males and females to provide preservation within the lines of all expressions possible with the amount of seed provided.
The Nigerian pheno is what my friend called that phenotype of the Black Haze, which resembled to him old Nigerian sativa buds, looks like Durban Poison pencils buds.
The Colombian Black .. from my studies/people seem to point to slaves from Africa or traders from Africa who farmed these African lines in Colombian. The sources range from Congo, Nigeria..(possibly)? Angola, but honestly without genetic testing its all speculation and educated guesses.. just like western medicine.
As for taste and aroma, I believe I described the Purple Haze pheno and Grape pheno of the Black Haze in the above text. The Green Haze that I grew was sweet but also very green, not really as profound as the Purple Haze which was my fault for pulling her early due to bad weather last year that threatened the garden.. hard decision.
Hope the info helps.

Wow great just great i will find out for you what combination my friend had from him.Hi La Buena Hierba
Chef used to be my dog. A gentle giant with great tolerance. We were happiest when I was in my comfortable chair smoking a joint of Haze and he would sit next to me leaning heavily against my leg. If I felt a moment of apprehension, he would look at me as if to say, "don't worry mate, nothing is getting past me," and you knew he was right.

The Ruderalis looks great. It was about time that somebody did RxR.
The R factor was dominant. It was a great vehicle to hitch a ride on to fast track some back-crossing. Male flowers at the fourth internode, four generations a year, that's progress.
And BTW, for all you back-crossers out there, from the 5th generation onward, it's all about the individual male.
The number of back-crosses is meaningless, relative to that.
