Grail: The Ultimate Haze Hybrid

What you are looking for is 25% haze. I made a pretty useful 4 way.
E.P.xSK1 X NL5xHzC It was meant for outdoor but did pretty good indoors too. I'm sure that SB did something useful with this.
Aghx SK1 X AfgxHzC I've heard good things about this too.

dr. littledeath, you are describing a hybrid that is easy to grow and finishes quickly with some haze qualities and imo, there are many of those on the market already. nevil pointed you towards one of them.

but the holy grail being sought will not be fast and may be stretchy too, but a true haze. currently, 98% or 99% of the growers will not grow those hybs that are predominantly haze because of difficulties in doing so nor will they consider anything taking longer than 8 weeks. more than likely, the true grail will be 100% sativa or very close to it and expecting to find one with the qualities you seek is more akin to magic than growing. peace-biteme

Agreed ...

What I'm asking for is magic/impossible etc, I fully admit that (gene splicing?). But it's a nice dream. A Neville's haze experience from a skunk type of plant? (Although that is mind f**k I'm asking for rather than just premier league).

It's just that I feel that in a thread with the title "Ultimate Haze Hybrid" it shouldn't be just about the high. Ultimate means ultimate in every way.

Anyway (He says after looking in his fridge after consuming half a bottle of Poteen [moonshine to Americans]). The seeds I have (in order I'm going to grow them) are :- Cinderella99, Jack Flash and MNS Mango Haze.

It's over 10 years since I grew (due to my housing situation). I'm sick of the commercial skunk. In 6 weeks I'll be able to start again. Yippee.

I've a feeling the Mango Haze will definitely kick me into touch. But I need to refresh my growing skills first with some "kindergarten" sativas.

As regards a parent for an ultimate haze hybrid? How about Sams Original Haze/skunk? What's that in the Sat/Ind ratio for the progeny? Higher than N. Haze and the Haze genetics will be different.

Another off the wall option (and laugh at me, I deserve it, I really do) is an auto flowering Haze. Haze C male crossed to a potent auto flowering female? Could be interesting.
Cheers

You mention "auto-flowerers". I seen some pictures, looks like Ruderalis to me.

The real deal was a E.P. I developed, flowered normally under 24 hours of continuous light.

Hey Nevil, I read in one of your interviews that you worked with Ruderalis many years ago. Did it make any good crosses? I brought up the idea before of crossing a pure haze with ruderalis to lower the flower time but the general consensus seems to be that ruderalis is a crappy strain and therefore the offspring would be crap too.

HAZES

Hi Nevil,

Just posting some Hazes and Haze hybrids to show you what others have been up too. I also included a MNS Nevilles Haze F3, really loved the smoke, super special with a 3 month cure.

Thank you Nevil,

Sorry for posting without an introduction.

The 1st pic is another Haze, a supposed California Haze from the 60's era. This was a green Haze phenotype which was started early April 09 and was taken in mid December 09 and a bit early but large storms threatened the finishing of her, so she was taken early. This line was originally the Old timers Haze, and this one specifically came from Breeders Choice who open pollinated many seeds previous to their release.

The second pic is ACE seeds Purple Haze x Panama.. Which is from Old Timers Haze stock. I don't believe they had as many seeds to work with but the Purple Haze comes shining through in the cross with the Panama, though with a larger calyx and more resin then the Purple Haze phenotype of Haze I've smoked. The plants in the pics would have been larger if I was able to veg them for 90 days like I would have liked.

The last pic is a F3 of Nevilles Haze, which produced some very large exotic smelling and tasting herb, with a A++ high.

I'll post another plant that comes from some of your earlier work with Nevilles Haze I was told. BRB

Senegel Haze

Senegel Haze a little history gathered from here and there. The Senegel Haze is a cross of a Senegelese sativa from Zamalito crossed to Phoenix Haze. Phoenix Haze is actually Nevilles Haze crossed to Nevilles Haze with a slight chance of Nevilles Haze x Super Silver Haze. This Nevilles Haze line wasn't from Green House or Mr. Nice seeds but handed from Neville Schoenmachers private stash, from Neville himself. This stash of F1 seeds was handed to Dutchgrown to make more Nevilles Haze, unfortunately the projects was busted and only the seeds on the floor were left. These seeds collected were given to JLP to make more, thus calling it Phoenix Haze.

Is the above true Nevil? At least the part about you providing Dutch Grown some of your original Nevilles Haze around 2000-2002?

Anyway this Senegel Haze leans toward the Nevilles Haze side and more toward the Purple Haze.

The Senegel Haze responds very well to topping, anything with Northern Lights seems to receive topping well.

Looks like Haze to me Snowhigh. Good work! So the NH F3 was the strongest, which one was the most delicious?

Actually Nevil the Nevilles Haze wasn't the strongest but it was some of the best all around bud I've tried. It had a most intense cardamon, sweet spice, with a delicious smell when smelled from the curing jar and on intake from smoking her. So for a mostly sativa strain with great flavor, quality of high, resin and bud density I would place this strain quite high and one of the best all around strains.

That saying from the plants I just posted the Pure Haze, green phenotype could and should have gone longer. The Purple Haze x Panama was very strong and trippy but the Panama in the cross, gave it that euphoric Colombian effect which added a vibrancy to the trippy qualities of the Purple Haze. I would say between these strains this was the most flavorful, adding that rich port wine/burgundy taste to the herb.

The Senegel Haze was very exotic in flower, almost intoxicating in flower. I can't really put a finger on it but exotic sweet perfume with a spicy edge. The high from the Senegel Haze is electric and can cause heart palpitations and sweating, very visual and intense high with no ceiling and extremely high in THC.

Give me a minute and I'll dig up a pic of the finished Purple Haze x Panama flower.

Purple Haze x Panama~dried flowers

Here is some pics of the finished flowers, which were very good but even then could have gone longer in flower. This strain was harvested outdoors in mid December.

Hi Snow :)
Those are some sativa looking plants without question, thanks for sharing. Many years ago, I can actually remember Dutchgrowns plight with law enforcement. Surely unfortunate, however I was always slightly amused she referred to herself as a breeder by crossing Nevilles Haze to Super Silver Haze. I could easily do something very similar, with lines gifted to me by respected sources in the industry as well. However it would take some time on the lines, before I would call myself a breeder!

These days I notice Gypsy takes the oppurtunity to make Dutchgrown the "Breeder of the Year" etc. at Icmag to help bolster her seed sales. I cant say that I would care to grow any of her lines personally, but there may be others who feel other wise.

You write with the eloquence of a true connoisseur Snowbud. They all sound like interesting candidates for the N.H. F1 male.
I am pleased that you are going us on the Grail Quest.
