My caption was going to be "what's the big deal, Kanga's only 3 feet tall"!
But I enjoyed seeing the photos of his grows as much as the next guy and I think it's a shame he's not around any more. He was giving us the chance to get an inside view on what was going into putting Grail together and i'm disappointed to see that gone too.

I talked to Kanga yesterday on ICMag. Hes around. We had a troll on our thread over there, fucked it up for a couple days. Admin and super mod ran in there and cleaned it up for us.
NICE.
Reading 3 LONG haze related threads over there and virtually NO trolls.
As much as I love the ideals of the MNS forums, the people getting the most value from the freedom are hate filled idiots.
I mean really, who builds a house to share with their friends then then lets a bunch of unruly brigands with masks on their faces shit on the floor, break all their stuff and run them out of their own home?
Forums are a marketing and support tool for vendors and I believe they require some form of moderation to provide the value they are capable of.
I am not going to sidetrack this thread on that topic any more though :-(
Doc, have you got a pic of the Nevs x Headband we could see? How did they describe the plant growing?

Im sorry to say that I do not have any pictures of the Headband/Nevilles Haze ( Headville Haze?)
This is yet another grower I forgot was growing my seed. He is so proud. I did not even see the plants, but was told last night by someone who saw it that the Headband/Nevilles was totally encrusted with Trichomes from top to bottom, and that the plant was choice. That was the second person that told me that. I think Ill give him more seeds

Heres is HeadvilleHaze
Heres is the bud grown from the GQ (GrailQuest)seed. Keep in mind that it is from a small plant grown in a tiny apartment from Headband pollinated by Nevilles Hazer Male. I think it was Nevs Haze #2 male. I still have the dads pollen, but not the male plant.
He did the best he could in his little place, and Im very proud of him and his work.
Here it is. Its in hi def , so you can scope in for a close up if You like.

Heres the Mango haze, this morning, suning herself. She ,makes real nice semi compact hazey buds.Wonderful strong sweet haze flavor. Good and strong too. This plant will drop over a half pound, and probably more. She is very Healthy.
I have several crosses from this plant. Lots of seeds. I may cross this to the Purple Crush Male : ( Salmon Creek X Orange Crush) X Lavender Lights). The seeds are very old and true

I went to my Sons House today and saw the plant (Blue Money) Ls1. I think its the last seed. No seed bank ever had this one. I kinda hope its a girl. Were on a roll here. We have alot of great Moms and seedlings to work with.

Got some mixed news last night. I already knew, just needed a second set of eyes to confirm. The Blue Crush plant(Orange Crush/LS1) is Male. I dug it up and potted it. This evening I will take it into the green house next to the Purple Crush(SalmonCreek/Orange Crush/Lavender Lights)to finish up.
I was bummed about it last night, but now Im thinking about the crosses I can make with this pollen. That pollen is worth more then gold to me/ Anything that has the LS1 and Orange Crush is way top shelf, not to mention the real Salmon Creek clone. I may put some seeds from this run on auction.
The Lavender Lights plant is female , and She is growing real fast! Just wait till you see the buds on that one. It usually tasted like the finest black afghani hash and has the hash high

Those take about 10 weeks if I remember right, maybe 11.This is the third run for that plant. I grew it from seed last year. They put out some real nice flavored fairly compact buds. The buds are not fluffy at all. Everyone loves the Mango Haze
