Very Nice looking plants Picos; thanks for the pics.
I notice that they don't seem to exhibit the double serration pheno for which G13 is so famous.
Are they really $100 per seed? How many did you spring for?

not mine! I do think they're 3 for 200 now. they do look nice don't they? yeah there's a lot of things off! these look to be enormous yielder's, and they have a fruity component to the smell (along w/poo). No way it's straight g13.

i have critical mass straight from Shanti that has the double serration leaves
i also have butterscotch hawian X g13 that doesnt have the double serration leaves but seems very g13'ish
as far as im aware critical mass is not a g13 hybrid so id say that the double serration is not stongly a g13 thing but something that is in g13 as well as lots of other strains

thats still up for debate lol , it was only labeled butterscotch hawian X g13 on my pack , have heard thats all it is , also heard more , would have to go back through posts at treating yourself to see what swampy had said because i cant remember exactly , was a while ago , but i wont be going there to look as i asked for my account there to be deleated (long story , i was disgusted with Marco lately)

it is about 15-20 years old
a pain in the ass to grow indoors with a hanging willow tendency
difficult to keep green

If you research you will find that there are a number of strains, ones that are not crossed with G13, that are known for double serrated leaf edges. It is not the most common trait for strains but it is not anywhere near as uncommon as many believe and it is not a definite all conclusive bit of proof that something is G13.
As for the price of $100.00 per seed ... if I remember right when you purchase two a third is thrown in, as a fake freebie, making them average out at like $67.00 per seed.

the a5 is a nl5xhaze A cut from 86. Someone else can tell you if that was every crossed to g13 by neville, I know he made a limited # of g13xhaze's...

Unlike some I almost always have two or three windows open to different grow sites and I go from one to another to another and when I return to one I do not always go back to the last message I read and read every message since and see what everyone else said before I reply to something I spot right away.
That would explain why what I said was the same or similar to what you said someone else had previously said.
I apologize if I annoyed you by more or less repeating something someone else evidently said earlier in the thread that I had not seen when I wrote my message.

I know that a Dutch breeder (Zeno I think) did that cross, it was sold by Barneys and is now sold by Dampkring, he used the A5 cutting and the G13Haze male, he also did C5xG13Hz, HPHzxG13Hz, Mexican Haze x G13Hz etc...

they guy seying its hard too grow and strong haze type of plant
(more too the A5 taste and smoke?)
sounds more like the A5 x G13Haze (G13 is indica not?)

Yup, your friend was accurate on those, all are very much worth having, I particularly like the C5, the A5 is great too.
C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 etc were all cuttings from Nev's Haze breeding programme, C1 was chosen as the mother of SSH, C5 was given out as Nev chose not to breed with it but it was a great plant to grow, 12 weeks if done right, huge yield, top notch quality.
SSH = C1 x HazeSkunk
The AG13 cutting you have is very interesting to me as the Haze A male was the spicier of the two, and if I were to hazard a guess, I'd say HzA had more Colombian inluence and HzC was the sweeter, more citric one, possibly showing more Thai influence.
Therefore, crossing AG13 to a Colombian male would be very interesting to me, the Colombian has some similarities of taste and smell to HzA imho and tends to dominate in crosses so AG13 x CG would probably come out with a lot of spice, incense, beechwood, sandalwood, that part of the palette...

The guys in the south who grow the A5, C5 etc have a particular method of getting the most out of these Hazes and I copied it for my SSH and other sats, this is the outline of their method:
Weeks 1-8: feed a normal bloom regime
Weeks 9-12: cut the amount of N in the feed regime by 25% each week, this wil lgive you really dense, hard buds with little leaf.
e.g. week 9 - 75% bloom regime, 25% PK booster
week 10 -50% bloom regime, 50% PK booster
week 11 - 25% bloom regime, 75% PK booster
week 12 - 100% PK booster
because you are cutting down the N early, you don't need to flush much because the plant will have yellowed a lot and used up a lot of it's chlorrophyll already, I just do 3-5 days of water at the end, running 2 litres through the pot each of those days, this works good for me, everything burns smooth and clean.
