mani - Thx for the tip on the image re-sizer. It's also got an option to strip out the exif data so I don't have to save as png's :)

So here's a few from the Sierra's... ...er... Wait...

That's New Jersey! :D ;) :D

Jersey. Of course there is the requisite newyorker going 50mph in the left lane over the bridge. Same car will be doing 90mph 5miles into Jersey with his left foot riding the brake. I know it. You know it. The Troopers know it.

Weed pics 2moro. I chopped 1 of my 4 B cuts in beercups right on 50 days. I plan on taking one every 10 days to see where I like the cut. The 45day Shit f3 cut is really good smoke. Smooth, spicy, and chocolatey with a STRONG indy leaning high. I'm hoping a smell comes out on a cure, and some yield comes out with some veg time, lol.

Fired off a few shots just before lights off. Everything under the 400cmh on the left is the B cut, there MAY be a few A's left, but I've git my eye on the suspects, and all of the plants are on the straight water or splash of LK package.

B cut ~52days 12/12 in a beercup.
DSC00502_Copy_.JPG

LaNina leaning LN X Shit, ~55 days since first flowers, ~70 days 12/12 total. Prolly needs 3-4 more weeks, won't get it. Sometimes the Shit crosses finish up nice and fast, though.
DSC00503_Copy_.JPG

Most commercially viable LN x Shit. I think that I called the same seedbatch 'Shitstorm' a while back. Shout out GBF!! :D
DSC00504_Copy_.JPG

4 of the 5 shitstorm ladies.
DSC00505_Copy_.JPG

The one in the back has morphed from sweet to funky. Like a fruity armpit. I'm bettin the are all good smoke, with this one & te LN lookin plant smelling the best so far.
DSC00506_Copy_.JPG

Stripped down all of those immature A cuts today. I'll keep you posted on what they turn into. I met a fellah with BHO setup, goin to try to work out a lil deal :p.

Gratuitous "B" Clone shot here.
DSC005121.JPG

After loving on my plants all weekend, I decided to try to re-veg the 2 LN x Shit's that I put pics of up the other day. I hit em with a 'pot-top-scrapin', then threw ~10oz castings/compost blend on top of the 3gal pots, worked it into what I scraped up, & watered it in with some humic & fulvic acid (BioAG fulpower & fulhumix). This one is a vigorus stinky monster that doesn't really remind me of any of the Shit phenos that I've seen. I'm thinking that some of the Widow male is coming out here. Looks like it will be the best yeilder of these 5 seedplants, and has a stinky funk that I could get down with. Can't tell from the pics, but nice resin coverage on THICK buds. Did the best I could on the color editing :p
DSC00516.JPG

DSC00517.JPG

Here's some lowers from the other one. Looks and smells more like my LaNina selection than any of these crosses that I've yet run. I probably could have gotten this one to yield a little better, she was always the first to go thirsty or yellow. As it is, she should finish with plenty of fluffy, sticky sexy nugs. :D

DSC00513.JPG

Been holding onto this tea rose for a while. It was dying in the hole it was planted in, so I dug it up and repotted it into ~1.5 gal of my soilmix in ~Sept. It's been chilling outside, and has had to deal with pretty bad PM, but I've sprayed a few times with greencure, and that seems to wipe it out for a month or so at a time. When I repotted, I saw that there was a nice thick mat of alge growing on the outside of the rootball. Knocked all of that off, and put her into a 3 gallon bag. Fukk that "A" plant :p
DSC00508.JPG

DSC00509.JPG

Got brownies? ;)

Nice rose dude

try not to get the leaves wet when watering or youll be blessed with black spot:(

be good star bra:D

Whattap, MrMr :D

She just got sprayed with greencure, the powdery mildew is coming back. I've sort of neglected her for a while. When I pulled it outta the ground, she dropped all but 2 or 3 leaf sets. After ~2weeks in the fresh soil hugging a cfl, I got like 30 spots of new growth :D I was putting her in the sun during the (nov/dec) days, and under the cfl at night. Once I saw the PM coming back, I stopped messing with her to avoid spreading it to my grow room. That thing will BEAST in the 3 gallon. Mostly coco & chunky perlite, topdressed with ~12oz compost (earthwormsoilfactory.com) and earth juice "hydro spice grow" @ ~1tbsp.

I think that I like this cut @ 8wks in the beercups, so prolly 9+ in an unrestricted setup. My 2 gallons come down this weekend with the LN x Shit. I still have 2 more to see if I like it more well done, but this looks right with the exception of the very top of the plant. Straight water or water + humic acid for 2+ weeks, just starting to yellow.
DSC00531.JPG

DSC00532.JPG

The bloom room. Everything under the 1k comes this weekend, along with maybe 1/2 of whats under the 400. I'm thinking that the rest of the flower room will be down in 2 weeks, regardless of where the plants are in growth. I think that the youngest thing that I have in there is ~4-5 weeks, and it will all be headsmoke after this weekend, so I'm not missing much. What I AM missing is the 'would-be-ell-bee' from the would-b-"A's" :p
DSC00530.JPG

Here's the cuts that will be replacing everything. I'm planning on running a full crop at once (not a perpetual) which I've only done once before. My first seed run, lol. There are 8 B cuts, 7 more rooting, and 2 Shit f3's (45day cut). 1 of the Shit's, and the B in the 1 gallon bag will become mothers. The rooting cuts will get a week-10 days then into 2 gallons & lollypopped, while the vegging beercups will get transplanted into 1 gallons, and flowered as bushes in 3 gallons. Prolly repotting ~1 week, and flipping in ~2-3 weeks.
DSC005281.JPG

I'll also be flipping these seeds. the 3 on the bottom of the screen are Spice x Mississippi Mud or Spicy Mudd, and the rest are from my mixed batch of ssh f2's. I have one of each still struggling in the 2"sq's that I planted em in. The cut is a B that is probably rooted, and will get flipped with the rest in a few weeks.
DSC00527.JPG

MrMr. here's how I'm using the battery charger to cool my veg box so far.

plants lookin solid, great show as allways

be good

Yo MrMr thank you :) I've done a few different things, but good plants or bad, I suppose my grow and pic style is my own :p THis spot was rushed, and I actually share a wall in the grow room with the other people in my building. As a result, this is all temporary ;) I'm just tryin to make some money to feed my (dawgies) :D Actually the goal of living here was just to sort my cuts, as I left all of mine back east.

Ok, I'm sorry. I will try my hardest to stay out of the #4 & #6 forums from now on. I wandered back in there when hempy and MessE left thinking I was cool. I'm not, lol.

These Shitstorm's (ln x shit) got me real antsy to pull. 2 are more than ready, 2 could come right now, and one of them will still need a week+ after I chop in 4 days. One of the ones finishing (one I called 'sweet sk' leaning) is starting to purple up nicely on the calyxes, but none of them wanna purple on the leaves. I'ma try to leave the fan on em & drop the PM temps the next few nights. Today was the last water. These bitches look phat yo.

The SuperSpice cut I have ("B", just 'superspice' cut till I select a new one) is really going to surprise some people out here. I've smoked some good bud, some of the best actually coming from a dispensary called blue cheese. I thought that it might be the dutch 'blue cheese', but I think it's more likely a blue dream cross. I've smoked og fire, jack herer, gdp & alien invasion, and a few other things that are supposed to be killer-iller, and some of it had a nice 'taste', but it was mostly boring to tell you the truth. There was some REALLY well done no-name outdoor that impressed me, and I also tried a fruity skunk smelling indy that I liked the other day. But people ain't ready for this mango catpiss fire :D No one thinks the city slicker knows what good nug is cause he ain't from "the ridge". I got you Papp-o

I never actually vegged clones before. The closest thing that I've come to 'veg' is waiting for sativa dom seedplants to show sex under 16+ hrs light. I have yet to wait long enough, lol. I always end up flipping them unsexed :p Anyway, I'm vegging these clones for a few weeks in order to try to get some decent sized bushes. Figgured I'd snap pics of the veg process.

These cuts are superspices, and they were chilling rooted under the cfl under the stove hood for ~10 days. Then I started to work them into the bloom room for 6+ hrs a day under the 400w cmh. That was about a week ago. Today I had to get them out of their beercups. I put em in 1 gallon bags, and the plan is to get 3 gallon smartpots to bloom in. If I don't get the smartpots, I'll just flip them in regular 3 gallon bags.

Kay. Never bought this chunky perlite before, and it seems like it would be perfect to 'line the bottom of the pot' as so many of the oldtimers like to do. I put a quart of straight #4 perlite in the bottom of the 1 gallon bag.
DSC00533_Copy_.JPG

Then I put in 2 quarts of soil. My soil is ~50/50 recycled/fresh. The recycled portion is ffof & roots bagged soil, earthworm factory compost, regular sized perlite, crabshell, guano, and rare earth clay. The fresh portion is fine coco & chunky perlite. I added back ~1 cup of EJ 'hydrospice grow' & 1 cup of Pguano to ~30 gallons of total soil mix.
DSC00534_Copy_.JPG

Then I added 1 level teaspoon of the EJ hydrospice grow to the planting hole. It's a dry amendment @ 5-5-2. Mostly feather meal, bonemeal, and seabird guano. The recco'd feeding is: 1/2 tablespoon (1.5 teaspoons) per gallon mild ---> 2 tablespoons/gal wild.
DSC00535_Copy_.JPG

Threw a small handfull of composted llama guano first, then one of castings based compost. The idea was to mostly cover the EJ fertilizer with compost, but if a little landed directly on the roots, I wouldn't mind as it has mykes in it, too. :)
DSC00538_Copy_.JPG

DSC00546.JPG

Before the plants come out of the beercups, I make sure to scrape a lil of the top of the existing soil into the soil hole. 1. It frees up the roots, and 2. It will transplant the microbe rich 'surface crust' directly to the new planting hole.
DSC00539_Copy_.JPG

Here's how they come out, and how I break up the rootball. Again, directly over the new planting hole.
DSC00540_Copy_.JPG

DSC00541_Copy_.JPG

I tried to spread out the existing roots inside the new hole.
DSC00542_Copy_.JPG

Topped up with another quart of soil, and off with her friends! :)
DSC00544_Copy_.JPG

Watered them in with some sample foxfarms 'kangaroots'. I'm out of plantsuccess, and it looks like it's similar. Smells like it's alive :o

Me jus luv me some chop day!! :D Only the 2nd one in the last 7 months, and the last one was all of a single 400cmh in the el cheapo hood. Can't complain, though, as I'm still smokin that nug.

SuperSpice ~1wk preveg, no real veg, 10 days in beercups 50 in 2 gallons, 60 days of 12/12. This cut is FLAME, but it will take a lil work to get her to yield. This is the cut that I'm veggin settin up for the next run.
DSC005471.JPG

Fastest of the ShitStorms. In veg & early flower, this is the one I was eyeballin, that's why I left that little shoot on the bottom. Not gonna mess with re-veggin this one, though. Was flipped ~Dec 5-7ish, these all showed by ~Dec 20. Call it 9 weeks after first, 11wks 12/12 after ~3-4wks in cups @18+ hrs.
DSC005481.JPG

Most Shit like plant. Fast 'puffy' spears. Would not yellow off. EDIT - That lil turd spot on the biggest cola kept freakin me out, cause I had no mold on these plants. I just looked again at the top, and I think I may have bumped or gotten too close to the 1k at some point, cause there is a lil crispy spot there.
DSC00549.JPG

The Monstah! Could have taken her a week ago, and she is loaded with dense greasy nuggets. This one I threw some compost on last week, cause I am going to (TRY TO, lol) re-veg her.
DSC005511.JPG

The surprise. This one snuck up and made lots of heavy running buds. She was kept in the back, so I hadn't moved her in a few weeks. Much heavier than I expected. Also finished up nice and quick. This one did want to keep pushing lil bits of fresh bud on some of the cola tops/top-sides.
DSC00552.JPG

The Neen-Ya!! You see it. Needed another week-10 days, maybe 2 weeks to max yield, but I'm happy with her weight and ripeness.

This spiderplant was plucked late Oct, and has been rooted in the beercup since ~Thanksgiving. She would have eventually burst the side of the cup, there was no sliding her out, lol. Fukk rootbound. :)

Repotted 6 days ago, & got these under the cmh 12hrs Mon, 18/6 since then. I really like the perlite on the bottom for drainage, as I'm planning on repotting. When I repot, I may do the same, just with proportionally less volume of perlite (ie: 1qt/gallon bag, I may only do 1-2 qt in the 3 gallons on the repot)

Hoo-ray! Veg! :)

DSC00570.JPG

Here's the next round. Repotted the cuts yesterday, seedlings are ~2wks above dirt in flouro's, 1 day+ under the cmh. Seedlings are:
3 x Spice x missmud
7? SSH f2 (I dunno, the rest are ssh x ssh :))
DSC00572.JPG

And no airstone? No problem! Been letting water sit to burn off chlorine (checked city water report, and mine is treated with chlorine, not chloramine), then letting a handful each of llamashit & worm factory goodies & letting them sit for 2-3 days. I stir the water purrty good 4-5x's a day, and I cut it down after I pull off what I need. I have been using it from 3:1 water:tea to straight tea so far. 2moro gets a tea/pee/fish/kelp feed :D

Got the seedlings in 1 gallons, the SS cuts in 2 gallons, and the big un's in 3 gallons. There are 11 3 gallons, 9 are SS cuts, 2 are Shit f3 cuts. Of the 9 SS's, 7 have just beasted from day 1, 1 is a former mom, and 1 I kicked over ~ 10 days ago (just before going from beer cups to 1 gallons), and essentially broke her root mass. Got that one groomed for just 2 tops, the others are all bushes. The 2 Shit F3's are just slower growing plants from what I;ve seen so far. They will probably finish a good bit smaller than the SS cuts.

Flippin over the weekend. Gonna grab cuts of female seedplants, and possibly inbreed the SpicyMudds if I get a good lookin male (or 2). Here's the re-veg attempt from 2 of the ShitStorms. The one doin it was a chunky funky fast female, and the paddystarfishesfukkedupplant was the one that looked just like the LaNina mom. Smokin from a mixed jar of ShitStorm now, and just hit something SUPER pineappley :D Love seedplants ;)

Shout out to the drama involved in clone onlies. Gotta run beans to find out WHAT you like, then ya gotta run beans to find ONE that you like. Won't catch me in the 4 or 6 forum's no mo, no sir... /rant. :)

I like the resin coverage I get from my superspice cut. It's just a random female from a random cross ;) I want to run more of these (beans, & I have ~7-8 of the previous generation left that I wanna get sexed up) once I have space to even sneak an outdoor veg space in. The high is nice, a bit face flushey, but that may calm with a cure. Deffo kept mom's negative 'burn-out' trait. Even taken early, smokin this bud all day means a nap once the sun goes down :p REAL tasty. :D

Here's the nutes. The big soil bags got just under a tablespoon/gal of each of the EJ hydrospice grow and bloom. The smaller bags got much less, but got some more compost and llamashit.
DSC00591.JPG

I really only had enough kangaroots (mykes) to water in on the last transplant, and again in a few weeks. The ful humix got used sort of liberally for the last ~2wks, and I have enough for a few more foliars and probably one more watering. I also have enough ful-power (another bio ag humic/fulvic product sample) to do 1 more root drench, probably ~mid flower. All of the foliars get cocowet added (not pictured), usually LK @ ~2ml/qt, or maxicrop & ful humix @ 1/8 tsp ea/qt, or protekt @ 1/4 tsp/qt. No protekt to the roots this round, only foliars. I also have organic bug control products if I need them, but most of the bottles are still factory sealed, lol. Ladybugs FTW!!

Watered in last night with 6 gal of total feed mixed with
De-chlorinated tap water (water report says ~20ppm mag, & ~60 ppm ca)
~40-50 oz of vitamin pee
4 teaspoons maxicrop kelp
4 teaspoons n.harvest fish
1.5 teaspoons ful humix

1 week of nights

Had to fire up the 1k after ~3 days of 12/12.

Got 2 Spice x MissMud males, took cuts of the 3rd. The SSH f2's should start to show by the end of this week. Lol, gotta sog!

hey patrick

respect brother. amazing pics of nature and cannabis. or might i just say nature and group in cannabis?

anyway, i see you are proclined to using bags in your grow.

i will not presume to know more than you in any way or shape or form. your pics speak volumes.

but just one thing, have you looked into smart pots?

if you are unfamiliar with them, i would highly recommend you take the time to learn about them and obtain a few bags for yourself to see the difference.

love an respect brother

Smart Pots - Container Gardening, Hydroponic Fabric Containers

Whoa, a visitor, I gotta put pants on!! :D

:p

I was planning on flowering the biggest plants in smartpots, but money is tight, and I already had enough 3gal plastic. I mean TIGHT, cause I can get 3gal smartpots for under $2.60ea. Yeah, you don't see a bottle of PBPsoil bloom either ;)

Let it circulate ;):D;)

PS, I'm JUST creeping on 5yrs growing, so it's more than likely that most of the peeps who read this know more than me about growing bud. But it IS my passion! :D
