Fugazee Organics

Gotta love the neighbor hook ups.

Tastes like "good brick" you must mean the brick that has few seeds and actually looks like green buds. Good luck with those fishes, don't you find those vegas a little thick skinned? if its a mini i like them little dutchies.

Yeah, and I'm thinking that part of the 'experience' is that it is a fast cut, cut a lil early, seeded, no attention given to the cure... Just like brick, lol. :D I smoked some bud recently that was decent, called 'Obama bud', and was a spicy/fruity, well done indica. Shit is retailing for 280/half. Point 6 twenty's...

Anywhoo, today is the actual chop day. Last week was a half-a-chop. Here are last week's plants. The bukkit is 2 LN cuts @10 weeks, the shitty lil square is Shit B seedplant, and the bigger round in the back is the Shit A seedplant. I haven't smoked any of either yet.

Tomato sprouted from castings. Currently hardening off on my deck. :D

Here are today's plants. Shit C seedplant in the square @ 10 weeks after 1st, G/Sk f2#1 in the 2 gallon @ 12 weeks after 1st. Both are chunky now, but could go 7-14 days more no problemo.

These went in. The 4 on the right are the Super Dev's, the 1 gallon hard sides are MK2, the other bags are SSH, and 1 SuperSpice. The lil 2l square is a Shit B that is ~2 full weeks flower, was kept in a beer cup till today.

What's really good, ct! :D Yo, if you come over, park somewhere else - The neighbors don't bring me anything if they think there are people here. I LOVE my downwind neighbors!!! :D

SuperSpice - No bottle organic hempy, ~6/7 weeks (I have to look back in the thread for the flip day). Got the last of the kelp feeds today, straight water till a week from Sun.
S7306535.JPG

SSH - No bottle organic hempy, same age as the plant above. This plant has a lil leaf thing going on, but I'm not concerned. She will get another kelp feed, then a plant success feed, then water for maybe a month, lol.
S7306536.JPG

LaNina - 2 gallon organic recycled soil. 59 days, on the str8 water plan, coming a wk from Sun...
S7306539.JPG

MasterKaze #1 - 2 gallon organic recycled soil. 45 days, got the kelp today, straight water till a wk from Sun...

I lost the g3 cut. No biggie, as she was not a great smoke @ 10 weeks after first. She may have gotten better, but nothing special about that one (smoke, flavor, vigor, etc...) after seeing a few of the G/Sk f2's that I have. My G1 headsmoke ran into a BONE DRY situation, and I think it shocked her into starting to ripen - like 9 weeks after flip. Whatever, if she finishes up relatively fast, and smokes like I think she will, we may have a contender, lol. Gonna replace the G3 with the Sour Dee in the tourney.

Seriously, it's gonna be tough to beat the MK1 cut. :D I've been burning on it for a few weeks, and it is some killer indy leaning hybrid. I'm starting to see it yield, and that was sort of the point of running all of these damn beans back in Jan, lol. Shit A is underperforming on her first round from clone (C is cranking, however - love that sativa stretch), and MK2 is a light, sensitive, fast plant thus far. I have 2 cuts in 2 gallons ~6 weeks that MAY pull 40g between them. As of this weekend, I should be freeing up some veg space, so I'll really start to groom and clone these plants.

Thanks fer the love, Eddo :D That LN is killer. She is not hazy in an 'off the block' type way, but she is a spicy, catpissy ride to the same place. She is more than ready to come down @ 10 wks, and can be taken @ 9er. I got 3 female ShitStorms ~a week after 1st down below in white 3.4l squares. I wanna see if the seeds lean more towards the Shit, or the LN. I'll be making Shit f2's soon with a different Shit male, and I want to hit the same LN cut with him. I think that it will be fun to compare those LN x Shit's to the ones that I'm running now (same LN mom, different Shit males).

Lol, the powerbait is a necessary evil. :p I fish ~75% of the time with just 1 rod and with spoons and spinners. I go with waders or shorts and sandals, and work the stream for bigger fish. My rule as of ~2 weeks ago is to leave the browns (that aren't banged up from the hook), cause they should hold over in most of the streams that I fish. The rainbows and brookies will die in better than 1/2 of the streams, so anything worth eating, I keep. Sometimes, I need to re-stock the freezer, and I don't have all damn day, so I bring 2 rods and run powerbait on one, and just work specific areas over with the other rod (lures). Lately, I've been going at night, and losing lures SUCKS, so once it gets really dark, I set up both rods with powerbait. Powerbait is like crack for fresh stocked trout, and rainbows go crazy for a few weeks after hitting the stream for it. Browns generally leave it alone once they have a few days in the water.

I won't lie, if I see fish rising all over, and I'm not getting hits, or if I see fish consistiently following (but not hitting) my lures, I'll put one of those lil pieces of powerbait on the treble of an undressed spinner. It also adds weight for casting AND slows the sink/retrivial rate. Last night I went out ~30 min before sundown, and fished 1 rod with powerbait, and 1 with the lures. 1 hour: Powerbait - 2 ~10" rainbows, Lures - no fish, 1 decent strike. Then, I tried 1 rod with powerbait, and 1 with "eagleclaw/nitro trout paste". 2 more 'bows and lots of hits/snags with the powerbait, and NOTHING with the fugazeebait. Strung up both rods with powerbait, and suffered through 20 minutes of 'revenge of the skeeters' w/o landing a fish before calling it a night.

Working on some of that Shit C seedplant, and YEAH, BUDDY. :D Very nice nuggies with a strong, plesant smoke. We'll see what smells the cure brings out, but it's looking like a rotten fruit/skunk/fuel(cleaner?) thing so far. G1 was LEAFY, but she looks like she will agian prove the 'Leafy=Yieldy' indoor theorem. ;)

Lets go, Mets. :)

When it comes to trout, it's all about the fly rod brother, :) i mostly tie my own flies as well, nothing more rewarding that catching a big brown on a nymph you tied the night before. If i'm going to a stream where i can't really cast my 7'4'' 3 weight rod, i take a spinning real ultra light, usually just fish live bait, mainly waxworms but red worms and meal works work well too. and i fish just like a fly, casting to the head of the hole and let the current take the whole thing down stream. Since i bought a fly rod, i have become obsessed with fishing the drift becasue i get so many more hits.

OOOOOOOHHHHH.... NOW I see why you are anti-powerbait, Eddo!! You are a fly-guy! :p Lol, powerbait is what allows spinfishers to catch the same #'s as fly-guys :D
{fires up the wayback machine...}
When I was a kid, there was a feller who was trying to get friendly with my mom. He was like king of the fly guys, had a coffee table book published and everything. Well, he hooked me up with ~$300 worth of fly tying stuff (like a buck 80 was for the real nice renzetti vice, lol), and taught me to cast. He ended up taking the vise back, and giving me a pos lil clamp on (which worked fine), but never took me out to the water. I tied a shit ton of flies, and my parents spent a BUNCH on nice 4 and 5 weight orvis gear that I could have pretty much had (they used it on 2-3 trips to vermont, then it gathered dust.), but I was too comfortable with my ul spin gear, and too scared to try something new. So the flies and tying gear just got sort of lost as I grew up, and I think that the rods ended up getting stolen (I hope whoever has/had em caught fish with em :D)
{fast forwards the way back machine to a few years ago}
Well, the stream that I've taken pix of the most (the rocky, fast moving med-large sized stream from this and the last thread) has a ~4 mile fly fishing only/catch and release stretch that is literally ~ a mile in a straight line from my front door. Lemmie pay off some bills, grab a few more packs of MrN beans for the fridge, make a trip to the cabelas/bass pro store, and I'll be on that water before they stock the fall browns ;)
PS - I'ma end up fishing streamers/jigs/wolly buggers anyway :D Fukk those 10" fish :p

Damn, ballast dried ssh got me reminiscin' :)

Whattap, maxmo :D You don't do so bad yourself ;)

Yo, Siva, I'm not sure, but I think that it's made up of 27 shutout bristles ;) Lol, I'm not a hater. The Phills got a great offense, and play in a lil league stadium. Yo, I DID catch the last 3 of Doc's perfect game last night. GODDAMN. 95 in the 8th and 9th with MOVEMENT. The ump was giving him EVERYTHING though, lol. It's so nice to watch a game where the pitcher throws strikes, and dosen't dikk around between pitches.

Hey, I'm not sure if it was you, but it was brock1 and somebody else asked me about the Shit outside. IT KICKS ASS. ~41 deg, first frost ~Oct 10, plants trigger ~2nd/3rd wk of Aug, and Shit is my go-to strain. They tend to get thick quick, so be on the look out for mold late. Mostly straight roadkill/dead smells, but some plants with an incense/church/sweet haze thing going on. I haven't had any 'fresh fruit' Shits. Well, not since I've eaten any fresh fruit. :rimshot:

TURBO POST!!!
:D

:)^I used up all of my smilies.^ :)

Hey admini, can we get some more... :p :D

Yo, I just did all kinds of tourney work, and super sil;ver and fishing thoughts danced right over what the hell I was gonna post :D

-Repotted the Shit A and B cuts (seeds 2 vs 7, respectively) after 17 days to soil beer cups. A seemed to have slightly bigger/more roots as a group, but not enough of a difference for me to care. The A's went 4 for 4, and are revegging nicely, but it remains to be seen when I can flip them. The B's went 3 for 4, but I think that the cut I lost, I lost early - grower error, or just a REAL small cut.

-Took cuts of MKz #2 and G/Sk #1 from outdoor plants (3 vs 6).
-Took cuts of G/Sk #2 and Shit C from indoor plants.
4 of each, all str8 perlite, under a 20/4 shoplight w/newish bulbs, on a reptile heatmat. It will be interesting to see if the cuts from the outdoor plants root faster. I bet they do. :)

I'ma try to get some dry shots up later. :D

:D;):D

Lol, it's later, and no dry shots. :p

I lost the 2 nicest fish of the year within 24hrs of each other this weekend. I don't mind losing fish, as long as it isn't cause I do something stoopit. Rule #1 for me was always 'don't touch the line till the fish is landed'. Rule #2 was something like 'Don't try to fukkin land the fish if you are standing somewhere that if you drop it the fukker just swims away.'

Yeah. Rule #1 is now 'get the fish 10 fukkin feet from the shoreline before you mess with it', cause I dropped 2 ~14-15" rainbows right back in the fukkin water. The first one I was messing with in sandals in the stream, and it would have been a pain in the ass to try to wade back to shore (no felt on the sandals). Fukkin PLOP! NEXT CAST had a lil fishie on, but that fukker threw the hook! The next day I went as the lokel yokel to the fishin hole, and it was jammed with tourists in neoprene waders n shit. Clipped the license on the back o the hat, and threw a rooster tail with no paint left on the body. Yup, NICE fat fish in ~5 min. In a hurry, STANDING ON SHORE, I dropped fat boy, and he flipped ~2' into a tiny puddle, waited a second, and flipped back into the stream. I knew that if I tried to grab him after he hit the puddle, he would have shot straight through my hands into the stream anyway, so I just watched it go.

Not huge fish, but they were DEFFO meals all by themselves. Today I took 1 lil pos fish, and missed ~5 in a few hours wading. The one that I hooked up was ~1/2 way back to the car before I messed with the hook, and I played it like a hot 1-hopper hit right at me. :D

Ok, weed forum...

I replaced the metal halide in veg today. The old bulb was pushing 18mo, @ 20 hrs... Close to 11k hrs, and it was time. It had developed a pretty bad flicker. The new bulb only burned ~15 min before I shut it off today, so fingers crossed. Hopefully I can get this flip flop built in the next few months, and free up a CMH for veg.

Repotted all of the deck veggers that are getting flipped this week/weekend. Sunday is chop day, but I may pull a bunch mid week, or even bump the whole chop up. I have SSH's that are already ~86days, with MKaze and LaNina's ready to go as soon as they dry. I'm only really waiting on the organic SuperSpice bukkit. I have to check, but I THINK that I have nice sized G1, C, and B's to flip with a few 'old-bulb-indoor-vegged-beercups' of some ol other shit (I have no idea, lol).

Something happened to my SuperSpice and LN moms. They were ~6mo old, in 2 gallon bage for prolly ~4mo, and under the 400MH with the MKaze and SSH moms (and rotating veg cuts...). They were super healthy, then the death came. Plants went orange/yellow from the leaf tips to the shoots to the stems. I put em out on the deck ~ 2weeks ago, hoping the sun would pick em up. I had them in the shade, with a few trips out to the full sun here and there, nothing long enough to worry about frying them, just givin them a lil full spectrum. Well, the SuperSpice just kept on dyin, but I have cuts as backups. The LN looked OK for a week, even like it was happy to be out there. Then she started to die the same way. I babied her the last 4 days (screened sun, kelp spray, castings topdress with a weak vitamin pee...), and I'm 90% sure it's a wrap for her. I don't think that I have any other copies in veg. I DO have a bunch of cuts coming down, so I'm gonna try all sorts of things to try to re-veg. It's a sign that I need to crack into a bunch of the f2's. Reveg or no. ;) (paddy drops 8 more of the same batch that just went 0fer. He also locates and places to the side the LN f2 batch that produced the 4 bad ass females over the winter/spring incase the whole 'other' batch is no bueno)

I picked up the outdoor pest control today, and the compost is prolly dry enough to start to stuff into dog chow bags, so summer IS coming... :D

That sucks to lose good plants and fish all in the same week. I usually have a problem with rule #1. It usually involves me yelling at the guy with net.

Who did you piss off to deserve that luck?lol just kidding

Whattap, Rfinger :D I would have eaten a BUNCH more trout this spring if I went out with a net!! Free fishing in NJ this weekend...

Today is chop day, but I pulled a few things wed/thurs of last week, too. Here are the plants from mid-week.

LaNina (banged up, trying to re-veg the green round and 1 of those bags.)

SuperSpice (organic, virtually bottle free hempy. 1 shot of EJ bloom, and 2 shots of NHarvest fish hydrolysate. The rest of the food was biotone, pee, kelp, and Plant success soluble.)
S7306556.JPG

The batch of 'from-more-sativa-dom-mothers' ln f2's that I have are no bueno. I went 0fer 8 after an 0fer last week. I just dropped a few pinebud x g-13 f2's that I made a while back. The original beans were from GN 03, and I crossed my 1 female with the 1 other plant that sprouted, a male :D Looking at squat, piney, not necessarily quick females ~late summer. I'm also gonna drop a hazy batch of seeds in ~2 weeks, once I flip my (current round of seedplant) SuperSpices. Prolly drop the viable LN f2's around 4th of July.

Just a reminder for myself that I took these cuts 6/1. Straight perlite, straight water. I think they are G1 and Sour, but the pots are labled.
S7306551.JPG

Home growin gets home cookin. Prolly the best sweet potatoes that I've ever had. On the right is a bangin zucchini based fried veggie thing, and the pie was like 2/3 pastry, and 1/3 jam. KILLER with coffee. :)
S7306550.JPG

A lil SSH headsmoke. 90 days 12/12 in a castings/perlite/castings sammich. ~1" of castings in the bottom, fill to ~3" to the top w/perlite, then ~2" of castings on top. Something different. I liked the root growth, but I think that I was a lil short on total phosphates. Pretty much fed pee and kelp, and water/molasses only ~the last 4wks. WOULD NOT yellow/purple. Got pif? ;)

"Paddy, WTF are you doing posting @ 8:30 in the morning??? I thought part of the reason that you grow bud is so that you can sleep late..."

Once or twice ~Memorial day, then once or twice around Columbus day. No, I don't go out this early to fish, either. :p
S7306581.JPG

OK, here's a new spot that I cleared out.
S7306583.JPG

Till ~2-3' hole, ~8-12" deep. Pulled roots, but knocked humus/castings off first.

Decent sized MKaze #2 in the ground :D. Smoking this cut done indoors right now, taken a week too long (prolly just right, lol), and FUNK!!! Burnt rubber, skunk, fuel, and equal parts chocolate, incense, and QWISO. I can't wait to smell her ~Columbus day ;)

All of these Shits are as old/rootmassive as the MK2, but I whacked them for cuts last week. I'll introduce you all to the cuts before 4th of July ;).

OK, DaPew is planted! Farms and Judy are waiting ;)

Fergot this. I'm looking at 100% organic outdoor this year, and the only real change will be the slug stuff. I have used ortho slug-getta pellets with success in the past, but I'm not crazy about the fact that the birds eat the slugs/pellets, and it really fukks with the eggshells. I'm not really concerned with the lil bit leaching into the plants as I am stopping the reproductive cycle of some KICK-ASS birds.

The slug stuff is 1% Iron Phosphate, and the bag says that it also has slug bait. I'm a fan of espoma's stuff, so I went with their brand. The deer out was recco'd to me for SLUGS spring of 08 by the owner of the local feed and farm store. Since then, absolutely NO deer damage to the plants that get treated before they go out, and 1 time a month later. I have picked slugs off after a heavy rain, but I haven't had a plant munched. The deer-out is menthol piperita (sp?), pepper, garlic oil, and putrefied egg solids. It smells like STRAIGHT mint. Really pleasant smell, I used it on my deck to tone down the weed stank even for the plants that are going inside, and the smell stays for ~2-3 days. Dunno if this counts for much, but I was driving home with that bottle of concenytrate, and a lil drop leaked onto a dog cookie that I bought. I tried to give lil dog a piece of the other end of the cookie, and she looked at me like she was a BAD dog, and gonna git it. She wanted NOTHING to do with the cookie, so I'm hoping that digging animals (like the lil dog, lol) feel the same way about it. My WHOLE location smelled like an altoids factory when I left :D

S7306601.JPG

I didn't put down any slug pellets, cause they are talking about a nice soaking rain coming thru (why I planted today, lol). I'ma go back out after the rain with more deer out and the slug stuff. :D
