i dont have the luxury of acclimatizing really as all the plots i do are guerrilla and it would be foolish for me to have plants sitting outside where i live (no med laws). I dont understand how a plant having outdoor light would really change anything anyway...Are you putting them back under light indoors?
Is there a certain light regime I could put my clones under indoor perhaps immediately after i cut them from the mother that closely mimics outdoor light cycles? I tend to keep all veg shit under 24hr light and have never tried rooting clones with less for fear they would want to flower asap. My growing season is very long (could easiily have plants growing from march untill november with no frosts), so basically I'll be poppign alot of beans asap to start for the outdoor season. Others have advised me to start them with a daycell timer.
So basically what I am trying to get at is...If my mother plants are currently under constant light what are the proper steps i should take to take the clones and put them outdoors without flowering. I do not have the ability to bring a plant outdoors before i stick it in the ground, Is this impossible?? Should I root them in 12/12 or what? Others i have spoken to say that it is only possible with sativa plants and that indicas or hybrids will flower once placed outdoor and i have no evidence to the contrary. Many of the growers i see doing clones outdoor tree style hang lights around their plants to keep them from flowering early on, again impossible for my situation.
I would really love to have some trees of my keeper phenos, but every time I place a plant outdoors from 24hr light it flowers asap...leading me to put out spring crops basically sog style outdoor in soil beds. This would also save me the money from buying hundreds of fem seeds. Any help to my questions is greatly appreciated and in no way was I trying to say something cant be done, just giving my opinion based on my findings.
