Green how many seed plant grows you done from reading think you have grow 4 or 5 years correct me if i am wrong as i know you will and in that time you have grown mostly clones correct maybe so many hybrids select from to and grown indoors under perfect or almost perfect environmental conditions correct unlike found in nature.
Funny how this has been covered in THIS VERY THREAD! I don't do clone grows, I do seed grows, have done it as my sole source of income for 8 years now.
Explane to us as your the man in the white coat that seams to know more than any one posting here or thinks to know more than any one posting what importance dose a male bring in the union of a fem and male canna plant because the male brings more than pollen but we have been threw this pages ago any way.
Yeah, so funny how it's been done pages ago and you still don't get it.
A male brings autosomes which by their very definition aren't solely in the males. The only thing a male brings that the females don't have is the Y. Large portions of this Y are the PAR. This pseudo autosomal region also acts like an autosome and recombines with the X normally. Again, these genes are on the females too. So please put on your scrappy ass lab coat and explain to me how a male repairs jack shit.
while your at it explane to us on a more complex level and not in unproven thearys as there like a cheep whore over used and no fun why do some plants express in late flower a few male pollen pods and yet seeds from it if pollen is used to pollinate a clone of its self that is in early flower will not or why clones of it will not for generation after do the same or why a plant in early flower can produce a single seed at the node yet have no seed in any part of the plants flower at harvest.
Is english your first language? Some of the S1s won't show the intersex trait because it CAN be recessive. GASP!
Why not explane to me and others how can a plant in flower grow out a new small branch with only a male flower yet the clones from this plant grown generations later dont you cant can you.
Guess not but I've also not seen it happen, ever; not once. In fact, I've never seen a good documented case of this at all. You know besides your ramblings, in fact it's a lot like those who claim to get 70% females. There's nothing around to back it up
