Ok now it seems to me we are at the point of.
Expression of male flowers is switching off production of or negating the effects of ethylene (which causes the expression of female flowers).
It seems MADC is the marking/i.d of the protein coding dna responsible for the mechanical/ physical production of ethylene, although the id of MADC would have to be able to show it in its off position in this scenario. Or it could be the id of the protein coding dna responsible for the mechanical/physical means of negating the effects of ethylene.
I will get to my point now though lol, i have bounced the idea off a few, but newer research into non coding or junk dna has produced hypothesis that it has much more effects than previously thought, including , and this is the part that might be interesting to look into, is that the non coding dna has regulatory roles amongst many other things, including turning on and off protein coding dna, like the one responsible for ethylene suppression/negation as marked MADC.
It is thought that the ratio of protein coding to non protein coding dna could be responsible for humans rapid adaptation that allowed such physicaly vunerable animals as us rise to the top of the food chain so quickly. we have the largest ammount of non coding or "junk" dna than any other organism we have found and tested yet, roughly 98%.
I wonder how much cannabis has?
I wonder what it does?
I could be way off but i just wanted to put this one out there, to bounce it off the right minds and see if it has any bering to the current discussion.
Again much respect to all
