Famous quotes MNS likes...

He also wrote King Coal and Oil!
A true hero of the Labor movement and, dare I say it, a socialist.

Here is one to remember when gardening.

“Any fool can make something complicated. It takes a genius to make it simple.” ― Woody Guthrie
I had no idea about King Coal and Oil but it may be on my reading list once I get in that mood again. Thanks for mentioning it. Most of the early leaders of the Labor Movement and the idea itself were and was Socialist even though history today in USA and Labor Leaders today would never admit it. If he was a Socialist, that explains his writings. We could use more like him today.

Good quote by Woody…

“And suddenly I realized that I was no longer driving the car consciously. I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension.” ― Ayrton Senna

“And suddenly I realized that I was no longer smoking the doobie consciously. I was smoking it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension.” ― Ken Abbis

30 years ago, a brilliant comedian by the name of Bill Hicks died, much too soon. If you're not familiar with his humor, it would be well worth a Google/YouTube search.

'Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves' . . . 'Here's Tom with the weather.”
― Bill Hicks

"Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells, that’s why they call it spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life." - Bruce Lee
this has to be my quote of the day, bruce is always missed.
