Famous quotes MNS likes...

"Lots of people hardly ever feel real soil under their feet,
see plants grow except in flower pots, or get far enough
beyond the street light to catch the enchantment of a night
sky studded with stars. When people live far from scenes
of the Great Spirit's making, it's easy for them to forget
His laws."

-- Tatanga Mani (Walking Buffalo), STONEY

for fucks sake michael tyson give the devil one of your uppercuts brah and knock him the fuck out, g g g g g g g unit
and smoke another fatty to celebrate

i do apologise mike, had only I known we were talking this Devil...

I'll report the Devil in my straw was pure skunky. Even the males smelled like a purebred polecat. Now, after harvest and slow dry, on the females THE SKUNK is overwhelmingly powerful. Devil has it.

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!” – Upton Sinclair

To put this in context Upton is talking about management and incentives for denying workers their basic rights.

I believe that Upton Sinclair wrote the Jungle which was required reading in high school for me over 50:years ago. It was about life on the far west side of Chicago and for stockyard workers and all there. It was a brutal life. The stockyards was where most of the livestock in the USA were slaughtered in those days Which if I remember correctly was in the 1920’s or 30’s. It no longer exists but was a major industry back then. The stockyard took up a huge area maybe a square mile or more. I only saw the remnants when I was about 20 years old. They had converted a building into a concert venue. Nothing fancy though, bare bones. Great book and excellent quote.

He also wrote King Coal and Oil!
A true hero of the Labor movement and, dare I say it, a socialist.

Here is one to remember when gardening.
