They are loaded with seeds for my outdoor season. I have another 2 weeks before the seeds are ripe. I look forward to a sensimelia crop in the near future so i can fully judge all the fine qualities in the EQ.

Jondo mate. 6? haha. My heads in and out of books, I've got one book I started reading recently called The Secret Life Of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird. My main thing is uncovering lots of info on the net and I usually have lots of windows open simultaeniously, podcasts downloading on different subjects etc but everything's a part of a whole so really it's all related in some way.

Anyway, I hope things are a bit more cruisy for ye now. Life can feel tough sometimes but a big heart always wins the day, I think you've got that mate. Your growing some nice big plants I've noticed. All the best to you for now.

Hey all, i've got 5 EQ under 18/6 light and all but 1 are starting to show preflowers.....is this normal and will 24hr light revert them back to vegging or should i just put them under 12/12 and finish them out?

Love the thread btw but i was pretty stoned reading through it so i can't remember if ye already covered my question but i haven't time to go back over it all again.

Hello CW,

My EQ's showed their sex or pre-flowers under 24/0 light. I wouldn't worry about it. It's a good thing, now you don't have to take any additional step's to discover their sex. Lots of varieties will show their sex at a certain age regaurdless of their light regemine(especially seedplants). For instance my EQ's, they all showed around 4-6 weeks from sprouting.

Fat pheno's

Yeah they haven't done much since they were pollenated, which was at like day 35, so i am exited to do a sensi run of the girls real soon, building up my clones so i can do a proper SOG. The smells are really coming out though, 1 has red stems and smells like apples. The one in the last pics smelled sweet skunk. I suppose it's a tad bit early for a smoke report eh?

been getting excitable regarding concept of a sister(s) thread. nev skunk does sound like an interesting destination.. i'm doing shark and shit for sure, priority numero uno.. shark, nuff said. and shit for educational purposes.. wanna come to wraps with the skunk1 phenomena.. wanna get to know the whole sk1/ supersk variety... a third variety can b included for personal... nevsk, mangohz? really want to get to know ssh still, it being an historically iconic strain.. pace.. pace.., ponder, ponder... .. .jbeansicenicej
 
been a great thread so far guys , props to ya's :cool:

one thing i recently found out is the EQ's if left to go dry too long will stunt production emensly

i have CM and EQ growing in the same rooms at the same time and lately due to health reasons ive neglected my girls , they never went dry enough to droop but i did let them go dry too long a couple times , the CM didnt miss a beat and are packing on the buds as useual , the EQ stalled out and put on the smallest buds ive ever grown and they also look to be done (2 weeks early)

so be careful guys , the EQ's dont like neglect :p

even though ive done 6 runs with her and in general been happy i do believe imma flower out my EQ mom and be done with the strain , CM is more potent and a better producer anyway and finishes ALMOST as quick

sounds like u'r heading in the right direction though,.. whatever inspires, keeps ur motivatilon up,, that's where the futrure b brightest... a stale grow is a dying thread. u thinkin of bringin in any new varieties?
 
unfortunately my health and lack of energy caused a poor report on the 40 eq clones , unfortunately what i mentioned earlier is the report


i will continue with the CM , i also have some L.U.I f2's sprouted , some nordle sprouted and soon to be remedy z series test beens :D , i also have some EQ X CM sprouted and a thai hazeXskunk#1 X EQXCM im about to see sprouts from


the 40 EQ clones were only a small amount of the EQ's ive done in the last year and a half , in general i was happy with the strain but there is better out there , CM being one of them

EDIT : forgot to mention the free leonard i have in flower and 2 nice clones of it vegging , its butterscotch hawaian X g13 and a very g13'ish pheno so i might hit it with some nordle pollen then bx it a few times hoping for a g13'ish plant

I have bunches of those and ohxskunk#1 i want to get to very soon. Let us know how those sprouts turn out! Haven't grown either but first thought was to cross to EQ for practicality.
 
Bob, how long did your Thai Haze/Skunk go? The reports on ICMAG ive seen say its up to 20 weeks if not more on some.

I haven't had a chance to grow any of those yet, but I have grown Sams O.Haze/Skunk, and out of 3 ladies they were all great, yet two hermied on me.

You may want to give his O.Haze/Skunk a go some day. Can be finished in as low as mid 80's, but up to 125 easy.


Itsbenfun, go ahead and pop those seeds. You'll be happy with the smoke. Ive got a pack of mango haze and some freebies of Sams Haze/Skunk on the way. Im gonna pop them both side by side and see how they compare. I also have a mom I kept from my original 3 ladies to compare with as well. Just watch out for nanners if you do grow them. Usually occurs late in flowering, and not too badly IME.

first crop of the thai hazeXskunk from sam went 6 months and wasnt done , second time around was 6 months done , third go (now) is 5 months in and looking ready so killing today/tomorow (its 3:30 am here)

first go was 2 seed plants matured before flowering and 2 clones , second go was just clones , and third obviously are just clones

worst piece of poop plant ive ever seen , would make good hemp though

Damn, thats a long time to let a plant go only to be disappointed with it. Repeatedly. Better luck next time. Do you have any pics you could share?

Hi Jonny,

Bob doesnt post pics, at least to my knowledge. I plan on giving those freebies a shot real soon, got to much going at the moment to pop them right now. I've seen lots of pics and descriptions that say they are really good beans. Thanks for the tip on the late nanners, will deffinately keep an eye out for that;)
 
yeah i dont do pics , too much of a security scare for me
maybe the 2 females i got from the seeds were just poor pheno's

i did do the seed run too though with the thai hazeXskunk and my eqXcm , got tons of seeds that i believe should produce some nice plants

dunno if we are alowed to offer seeds in the forum ? but ive got hundreds if not thousands of thXsk1 X eqXcm
