Early Queen Diary Circa 2025 - 2026 Dave Et al

:p IMG_2462.JPG

I've got a long day going round the gardens and will do some updates later. This happend earlier today. I will see if the pollen has taken over the next few days.

QueenxNic This was the plant that ticked most boxes of the 1st sowing of my Queens in 2025. They're small but they doing what they are made to do given the planting schedule. They're managable and the light is free.

They smell exactly like a plant that is very familiar to me. Little bit of resin showing on these plants.

I culled all the males down to 3 as I have oservesd some sexual instability in Nic so I have use some pollen and if he comes back from a full reveg, I will see if this pollen takes in the seeds what he passes on. The most vigarous male is the Cheese/NLxKentish Cream/Blueberry F2. He has responded best to behedding and shedding and his growth is very symetrical and shows willingness to branching out from the base. High in cytokinin from my research. All in all I am very happy. The females are females and they smell like Cheese Blues Psychosis & CheeseNL. There is none of the Psychoberry super floral scent to them. No single leafs being thrown and the nodes are looking to not be streaching out either with no brown calyx/pistils despite pollen being in the same room for weeks..

That has now changed and it can't for a while. I have 7 plants in flower and 3 have been lightly dusted.

Happy 420 for tomorrow guys and gals. Thank you Shantibaba. I have another 20 EQxAH and some EQ's to pot into the cells later. I have 3-4m3 of shit to move first.

Waiting on the last ones to split and will put them in at last light or 1st thing in the Am.

I had saved 4 of the slow germinators 2 I pictured and I performed some surgery micro prop on 2. The next morning they had gone. I noticed a lettuce had also been eaten then today 1 more had gone so I am going to put them all into a animal proof cage later and i'll get some other pips into the Bio-Germinator ASAP. I will confirm delivery soon.

If you don't stress them in multiple places you will never know till it's too late. I've had bits of Nic on the bubbler for a while. I was hoping they would have rooted with the maintenance I've put in. I swapped to my original idea with black pot with a mesh liner in it to keep light away. I will report on the progress. The Sires of 2025 are all in the Bubbler now.

I planted seeds today. I filled the cells last night and allowed them to warm in the sun before dibbering and planting direct seedlings. I watered them in gently then bottom filled the tray as a pest trap then I sat a bottle of water in the tray and put a screw Flat-head or Phillips into it on the bottom lip just below where water level in the propagation tray was set. This is a method I have used for decades leaving mothers for months once you know the score. The more you screw it in the less it drips keeping them moist and sub irrigated. I call it Dave'O'ponics. I will show you the type of emitter I got.

The second lot of Queens are in the edges of this tray. They've come up well. The middle block is the other straw of the EQxAH. Sown a little later but getting on with it and almost caught up. Like the others these are in cages to stop any silly business.

I killed Ni'cOla. I made a few crosses with the plant and I have some pollen frozen to dust on 1 or 2 of these Early Haze.

I've just got the 1 male knocking about now. It's one of my creations and just seems to be the most ideal for what i'm looking for🤞 it stays true to type and has no sexual liability. I'm game for sowing out some of Ni'cOla's progeny.. The EQ males I collected pollen from and have kept it on ice.

The first pollinations have taken. I planted some more seeds for the turnover. I took a few wraps of pollen with me and applied it to seperate branches.

There won't be a lot of seeds but I will see what the potential is and then can look at hunting out the better mother plant and look for a more stable male.

The plants are looking good. No regeneration into leaf mode and full steam ahead. Just a few brown pistils where the last dude had his way with the girls.

Some really nice 'Loud' fruity smelling plants.

I'm looking for something that I think will be usefull for sowing as a winter crop or late season. Soon as I get mature seed they will get germinated.

I'll be back later.

Been trying to convert some movies to upload today but can't see to do it. This was taken about a hour ago. I was gonna pot them on today but the first one when I moved it hadn't filled the cell enough to make the job easy. I just mixed up 37 pots of dirt 😂🤣😆 Nevermind. I'm gonna hit them with the roots excelurator later on. It's been raining the last few days and I've not done anything. The first 10 of these EQxAH have been alfresco a while and seemto be taking to the dirt well so I can't complain.
IMG_2693.JPG

These other 10 are straight EQ and looking good. I have some admin to sort out this week and some more seeds to be getting on with. I put a few Early skunk out a few days ago and have some up already. That rain seems to work :) makes life easy.

IMG_2694.JPG

I'll update again when I get these into the pots and we can have a look at the root of the matter and see how the others have come along.

Hindsight, this way isn't as easy to transplant but to move things it's not 60 pots. 37 pots is a lot to move 🤣 I'm gonna go the shop and get a jig for these cells tomorrow.

I've been AWOL. I updated this a few days ago and the post vanished. I thought i'd been banned or something. Turns out the website is really secure :)

I lost my train of thought and I didn't save the post so i'll just wing it from here...

My seeds are just finishing up.IMG_2723 2.JPG

These pic's aint the best. This plant is EQ and it's small. The top bud is QueenxNIC. The one nearest is QueenxQueen.

IMG_2715 2.JPG

The bud behind it is my Hybrid x EQ. The hybrid I worked to be a right 'cluster fuck' to Quote R.C. Clarke.

The Hybrid works out like;
  • 25.00% Jamaican Landrace: Kentish District
  • 22.92% Afghani: base, the Mother’s Highland Thai cross, and the Father’s 4-way mix
  • 18.75% Highland Juicy fruit Thai: Present in both the Maternal and Paternal lines
  • 12.50% Chocolate Thai: Strictly from the Paternal side
  • 12.50% Oaxacan Highland: Strictly from the Paternal side
  • 4.17% Colombian Gold: From the Mother's base hybrid.
  • 4.17% Acapulco Gold: From the Mother's base hybrid
I finally got roots as you can see using the makeshift flower inspection device.

I planted out all the other plants.

I had 10 that were a little way along from the second sowing. Those 10 are doing well. I have adopted an organic approach to IMP. I am foilar feeding them with a product I use on the orchard that is approved for organic cultivation. I had a shitload of Red mites show up and since the 1st application I have seen them Piss off. I don't have any damage from them yet. I have a team of hired Sicarios for IPM. I have some Mantis ootheca that shgoud be ready to deploy soon if they are alive..

Then I should have a few predatory things on hand to heal with them. The mites are in the surrounding groundcover or Camoflage and they are perhaps carried on the bodys of these critters. My foliar choice at this time is a nuisance to them both.

IMG_2964.jpg

IMG_2962.jpg
I ain't too worried about these guys. The Mites could become a real issue though.
IMG_2958.JPG
The Queens have the Pipe to denote the varietal difference. I tucked them into the undergrowth for a while whilst they root into these pots. The Mites love the flowers on that plants eiter side of the spot. Not much to look at yet here really but they're doing it.

I will update the indoor or greenhouse later in the week it's picking time :) Plants have started to feel the photoperiod effects and I can now get a crop off them to test and then drop the rootstocks into my holes and get some known types growing out.

One of the plants that has kept a compact main floral bract and is something really special. I made a cross to it on the lower bits so that when I coppice them down I will retain the seed crop and get the vegetative growth I want and the flowers to smoke. The plant in Question will become something.

IMG_2720.JPG

This is one I threw out the glass house for shits and giggles. I will cut it down to the bottom nodes, and regeneration is happening, fingers crossed she should do really well. 14hrs DLI seems to be the trigger in this variety I made. They smell just as I would want them to. I couldn't ask for more really.

Nice !!
I like how hens have room to relax :)
I made the cage on the plant wider, they've still some room to play for now.

Taken a few cuttings recently, also planted some of this seasons f2 seeds, they're germinating so 🤞 might bet a backcross in this year too.

Plant 3 didn't like the reveg so it's being consumed 🥴 luckily I pollinated it with the full sib male. Only a few seeds to see what they're like..

Got some pic's of the EQxAH garden this evening, confirmed a few that will be hanging around for the summer.

I got a little confused myself with the strain code hieroglyphics, turns out that I am growing Early Skunk Haze. Not EQxAH. Sorry for the mix up on my part.

I gotta get me some of the EQxAH that @Wako78 is growing. It looks amazing. Great job he's doing with them.

This one here is the favourite in the lot it's going to haver babies with a EQ. More Early Skunky Haze. For a 50% Haze this is COMPACT!! Hope if it's female it tastes like the rainbow. I also have another that is super compact but this thing is THICK!! Sown beginning of April and went into dirt about the 13th.

I've not done any training on these 2 plants but they sure are suitable for indoors. ^ This ones female and I'd run a garden of it now if it wasn't so bloody hot out.

Getting some girth to them.

I found a few mantis today but getting the phone out isn't an easy task. I have a

This is Early Pearl Skunk from a la Nevil, via ledo. I have a few that will tango with the EPSKHzC. I also have some from MNS.

Confirmed 6 more females of the Early Skunk Haze today and buried 2 of the 1st sowing. The one with the ideal form/habit at this stage turned out to be a 'sheila' That's 6 out of the first 10 :) and 4 of the 17. I hope to see more by the 20th, I lost a few along the way of the first sowing to a mouse had a few not make the cut coming up out the cells. Great turnout from 27 seeds minus the mouse incident. It was in the kitchen under lamps not even in the cage. You live and learn IMG_3578.JPGIMG_3581.JPG

I like this variety a lot. Anybody got a smoke report for it?

Spent the whole day in the garden today. It rained 3 times this week what was nice, holes are easier to make. Started to lay out the rest of the area here for the Early Skunks and I have a few Early Pearl x Cambodian/Laos here as a reference to note what traits are from where and maybe make some seed. I've only killed one plant myself since 420 it was male and getting huge like 1.5m at full streach soon as the females showed I retired him, made a few cuts and will juice him up later to make a Bhang/ smoothie and get really high.

Thanks @Wako78. It's been a lot of work to get them to this stage, Hours and inputs. It's not been expensive tho the plant side and growing side but I been here 6 months, Cheaper than an indoor run from scratch by a long long way.

1 more female in that sowing today and I think the one with the 🎋more wild structure is showing some Bazillan fluff. I dug it's hole bigger and gave it another dripper to try push that thing harder. Part of me hopes it the daddy to be honest it's a really strong plant, the stem is like tree bark and the wind don't effect it much. I put 4 from the second sowing into some holes as well. 6x Early Queens still to sex 13xEPSH and one maybe 2 of the 1st lot. 10-10 would be NICE 😝😜

1 kilo fresh Male plant.

Boil a pan of water. Add 2TBS pink salt when it starts boiling to get the temp up to over 100c 104-5c set a timer for 6 minutes. When there is 1 minute left of the boil, add the juice of 1 lemon.

Refresh the plant material in an ice bath.

Add plant material to a high-power blender with some yogurt and milk, a frozen banana, an avocado, brown cane sugar, a nub of ginger a drop of vanilla, and 6 frozen lemons that have been peeled beforehand. Blend it till it becomes a thick paste and let it down with as much liquid as you need. Water is best used here.

I made 1.5 litres before dinner last night. I drank 400ml, and I was off my face on that.

I find they are best consumed fresh within 30 minutes of the blending stage for the most potent effects.

Edit:

It's also nice with pistachio, white chocolate, banana, and coconut milk/cream with some cardamom in it—Kulfi type. If you don't like the texture blend, you can either blend it more or pass it off.

You need a fruit or food item with a lot of protease in it to activate the material. The citric acid converts any CBDA and THCA into THC Delta 9 and whatever other THC's are in the plant into the decarboxilated form. This then converts into11-Hydroxy-THC (11-OH-THC) in your liver.
