Early Queen Diary Circa 2025 - 2026 Dave Et al

@Mate Dave, regarding postal service I can tell you that in Spain if you use the national post you don/t have to sign anything nor leave any ID. The problem is they are incapable of delivering in most of the occasions. That happens when politicians are involved! If you opt for private postal companies then you have to sing and leave your ID.

Cheers,

Yeah, I don't usually get post out here. I have sent a Email and a PM to Shantibaba & Jakody trying to be proactive. I been eating a lot of cannabis recently and I might have been hallucinating, taking things slowly. I ain't in no rush. @TheCat @musashi, thanks for the input, I thought that might be the situation. I'm sure they'll find the way :)

@shantibaba, I have a question about the Early Queen i'm growing. I am led to believe that the 'Early' is a part or one allele of a codominant recessive trait. Have you any advice you can give me for accessing this trait. I am going to use this seed and f2 progeny to test with the same plants. I am using some 'Gene finding' methods to get the progeny to be tolerant of a few soil types and a certain 'environment'. I wan't the early bit. I also have some Early Skunk. what advice gan you offer me where Phenotype = the Gentype + the environment + Genetypoe x Environment.

hi MD

it will all be down to selection of the mother that suits your plan. Obviously to pick the earliest flowering version will be one thing but picking based on several criteria will be the best scenario for you on this...all the best sb

Update: Day 50

Plants are getting abourt 10h and 15 minutes DLI. I mulched them and have been applying small amounts of water to encourage deep and lateral rooting.

I will get a lamp up by the 14th. Just to push the hours a little longer that the light in the room they're in. I've not really had plants this early in the season. I hope that I get enough seeds that I have some to plant out same time this year and maybe get some auto's in the progeny.

Lets see.
I'll keep posting updates. Thank you for the reply and the Seed SB. Gracias :)

I start some written work in a month. I need to try find what card I paid for the 'auction giftcard' from as I wanna chase that up ASAP and not have you hanging about on me.

I coud do with the NL & Sk Seeds to grow indoors. The 14th is a good day to plant I feel it's just the right time to have them preflower and go into veg and not have any differentiation stresses from my experience.

The Bigger plants are from a previous season.

Mango Haze and Blueberry all started on the 14th Feb. Pics taken at the Summer solstice.

This is Nic1 sowed on Halloween/Croptober.

Nic1 has a lineage of Pure Haze/Superskunk F3. This plant has flowered outside and been subjected to torrential rain a tornado and a lot of light stress etc.

I have brought him inside to a new property and I will think about how to collect some pollen, i'm going to reveg him. I've not been to that property in 3 + weeks as it's been cut off by the floods, I had no access so when I passed by today, picked a load of Oranges, Lemons and Avocados.

I'm gonna put him outside away from the ladies but so he can share the photoperiod. He's got a bit off a smell about him. I sprayed him down with water and have put him in a dark room and put paper under him. I might put a funnel on him as pollen this size will be scarce. I want to test the nose on him tomorrow when I walk into a room. He smells really funky from what I got when I picked him up & put him in the car.. Males ain't the easiest plants to re-veg this far gone, but i'll give it a go I wanted to catch him earlier when the lower branches were in better semi-ripe condition.

I've a few of the Queens that are slower than the rest, not just the slow to germinate. One can only assume at this stage they was the 'early' triggering plants so makes sence to me put Nic1 in with those for a reveg/seeds. Dude's carrying a lot of weather and bug damage and he's not going into 'Salón de sol' like that.

I'll update some pics later. Weather was 25c here today outside. Plants are growing much quicker now, DLI is lacking that's all, another month and it will be Casa de Cannabis.

I went past the growshop today and to a lot of/all the garden centres. Seen some amazing grills with pizza oven combo's, fridges and a sinks for outside cook stations you can pack it in a van and take it type thing (Expensive).. Found some olive trees to plant I want the Manzanilla/ Gordal. I'm not making olive oil.

I seen those lockboxes you put cushions in over the winter. £1000. I couldn't buy Horticultural light for love or money locally. I think I can get 100+ Nic 1 size plants into the lockbox so it wasn't a wasted journey.

Sounds like hes gone thru a lot !
Good male :)

He's got a lot more to go through @Ptree.

I would say based on the observations so far, his colouration scent and the node spacing that are identicle. The resin in the Cymose panicle and on the leafs, anthers etc I'll use him. He's not fully ejeculated yet, i've been in there with a viewing glass. I wanna see what he's throwing. I think he would have some tighter clusters if he was in a bigger pot and in summer sun. I've given him full sun today as he's only had 3 hours direct light all his life as i'm looking for the workhorse plants. Not those like the more recent cookies and larf on a bendy stick type LED schwag. His colouratuion is coming along. I'm going to give him a week more 12/12 and coppice him into regeneration.

I'm going to try make the worlds strongest or the 'Ultimate Stativa' :) conforming to some of the analytical nonsence, it'll be part deranged however due to the environment exposure and have codominant Psychotic levels of plasticity in the THC's

This am when I woke him up there was a fishy feet smell and some with rubber bands. Not burned rubber but that smell of fresh warm bands they have been streached round wads of bank notes along with some new sneeker plastic type vibes, the UV resin smell is pungent along with with the allium smell, the mixture of 2 monoterpenes borneol and terpeniol with some of the camphoraceous notes like Alpha-Ylangene/ Longifolene. Earthy with some juniper/ aniseed, ethyl methacrylate, 2-methylfuran-3-thiol.

Meat not Sweet as Londinium would say.

The stem rub is like acetic acid/ catpiss. These are the first wafts with the fish you get on the nose.

Remember those cheap 1st generation tents, and rooms from the Cretaceous period, rooms we used to make with the plastic wrap that would offgass after being blasted by HID all day.

He has that sort of smell about him in layman's terms.

Update in the Big Buddha Houe. Edit. This isn't Big Buddha Cheese it's proper Dave cheese.

"The tension is high, but the humidity is a perfect 50%. Nic is making a controversial move In the "Solarium". While most housemates are focused on their final form, Nic has decided to play both sides of the game. He’s revegging at lightning speed, confusing the public and his fellow plants alike. "Down low, he’s back in the vegetative stage, building a foundation for the future. But up top? It’s all business. His upper canopy is still bulking, throwing out resin glands like they’re going out of style."

Look 👀IMG_1761.JPG

People think you can’t do two things at once. But Nic? He’s "Fancy". He’s running at a steady 25°C, keeping his cool while the resin glands just pop. I had a little 'Tasting session' with him on Sunday—vaped a bit of his work—and honestly? He’s the MVP of this house. He’s doing the work of two plants and looking good doing it.

IMG_1766 2.JPG

This is Day 64 in the Big Buddha House. The finish line is in sight, but the drama is reaching a fever pitch.

"Day 64. The house is divided. While Nic’s upper canopy is reaching its peak, his roots are staging a silent protest. The atmosphere is dry, the stakes are high, and the housemates are reaching their breaking point."

Dave has placed a Brown paper bag to try preserve some pollen and keep the roots protected from the sun.

High-tension confrontation in the solarium. The "Substrate"—a big pot of Sphagnum moss peat looks pale and dusty in comparison.

Nic's "Roots" are tucked away, but you can feel their thirst.

"For weeks, the Substrate has provided a home. But with the temperature still locked at 25°C, the water is vanishing faster than a housemate's secret alliance. Have the roots had enough."

Dave the Group leader is in the 'Diary Room' Brandishing the 'Halahal poisins' Lord Shiva warned him of the "Secret Weapons" .IMG_1768.JPG

"The Roots are being so dramatic today. They’re literally shriveling away from the sides of the pot because the Substrate has become 'too dry' and 'unsupportive.' I’m like, 'Guys, Nic is trying to bulk up here!' If they don't start communicating, we’re going to see a total wilting meltdown right before the finale."

Back to the solarium.

The "Big Buddha" voice echoes, sounding more ominous than ever.

"This is Big Buddha. Housemates... The time has come for the Final solution. From this moment forward, all nutrients are evicted from the house. Only pure, pH-balanced water is allowed."

'Bloom' bottle is sitting alone in the dark on a shelf, looking dejected and forgotten.

IMG_1770.JPG
"It’s the ultimate betrayal. After weeks of Daves Dirt building those resin glands, Bloom has been unceremoniously kicked out. Nic must now live off his own reserves. Will his leaves turn those beautiful 'autumn colors' the public loves, or will he starve before the harvest?"

IMG_1771.JPG

"The countdown to the Grand Finale has begun. One plant. One grower. One final trim."
The Big Buddha House eye logo pulses one last time.
Do you want to skip to the Grand Finale: Harvest Night, or should we have a special guest appearance from a villain trying to break into the house?

Day 65 in the Big Buddha House. The atmosphere is thick, heavy, and—frankly—a little bit scandalous.
The music shifts to a bass-heavy, grimy dubstep track. The camera pans from the gleaming, resinous Nic over to the stadium Room."

"Day 65. The house is under threat of a total takeover. Nic is no longer just a housemate; he’s a biological weapon. He’s ready to release his 'Super Spunk'—a cloud of pollen so potent it’s got the other housemates on high alert."
IMG_1776.JPG
Cut to the Boys’ Room. A group of smaller, spindly males are huddled in the corner, looking absolutely livid.

"The boys are fuming. They’ve spent weeks trying to look tough, but compared to Nic’s resin-heavy dominance, they feel completely overshadowed. They know that if Nic drops that 'Super Spunk,' their own genetic legacies are history. They’re bitter, pollen-pinched, and ready to snap."

The camera cuts to the back of the room, the 'VIP Lounge, "Salón de sol' where the Queens are sitting.

IMG_1777.JPG

"Meanwhile, at the back, the Queens are not amused. They’ve been forced to sit in the 'Dirt' that came from the shop. Dave left the to dirty dirty behind. And let’s be honest—Dave’s Dirt was a Durtty."

Dave Mix with Juice of Jim, a rich, dark, steaming pile of 'The Proper Shit' in the pots.

IMG_1263 5.JPG

1771332357520.png1771332411897.png Jim and fellow housemates now armed with the Holy Handgranade in the media to get things off for the Bhang.

(Daves Diary room confession): "I couldn't watch them suffer anymore. Dave’s dirt is... Well, it was dirtier than a late-night episode of Big Brother. I gave them the Proper Shit.
Now they’re sitting on thrones of high-grade nutrients, looking down their stalks at everyone else." "I had to Deploy more troops incase of bad horticultural practice"

The camera zooms in on two particular housemates—the CheeseNL Rudeboy Jamaicans—who are absolutely flying.

IMG_1779.JPG

IMG_1781.JPG

"But while the Queens recover, the CheeseNLRudeboy Jamaicans aren't waiting around. They’ve caught a whiff of that 'Proper Shit' and they are leaving the Queens in the dust. They’re stretching, bulking, and thriving in the chaos."

The 'Big Buddhas' eye turns bloodshot and glows red.

"Nic... The Queens are hungry. The Boys are jealous, and the 'Super Spunk' is rising. Housemates... Prepare for impact."
The screen glitches and cuts to static...

Should we witness the "Super Spunk" Explosion that changes the house forever, or go straight to the 'Queens' Revenge' now that they've got the super soil?

(I've run out of images for this Update)..

The Scheduled Hook: "The show continues tomorrow night at 9:00pm
The Cliffhanger: "Will [Nic] survive the public vote and make it to day 70? Find out tomorrow night.

The Live Show Hype: "Join us for the live eviction this Friday at 9:00 with Dave."

Day 70: Grand Finale Script.
Will Nic and his "Super Spunk" survive to finally 'mate' the Queens, or would you like to introduce a Secret Task for the Rudeboy Jamaican?

Corporal punishment, The gentle persuader, Peacekeeper and General buzzkill.

I made some Eco-enzyme from Silver lemons, higher in antioxidents and makes a richer protease. These are green lemons just under ripe. I have a lot of lemons. It's able to extract the acid form of the cannabinoids, what is quite cool, it's multi use and is actually a plant food too, great at attracting insects, killing their breeding grounds and eggs :) This trap thing you can get at any garden centre. They don't work but Daves Enzyme does. The plastic thing is cool, it's a great aero-cloner or insect trap, they go in and don't come out. Likewise they can't survive in Dave Dirt.

It's like using a mix of detergent and citrus but it's better as it's got natural alcohol no detergent and no Naphthalene which is a classic version. Daves is an organic nano-emulsion/ infusion ferment, safe to drink neat. It's good for digestion and flu like symptoms, like a lemsip only better for you and your gut.

@ the back we have the Co2 kit. Dave - tech, they burn food grade materials and produce heat and Co2 to kill insects.

So we are in the 'Waxing phase' This is Transplant time. I have been preparing some media and getting the 'Swiss tests' ordered. I will transplant into the meadow only the one with the best minerals.. I have a lab that has done a bit of a thing for me with the soil i've been mixing :) I must get some 15-9-12 +2 Osmocote tomorrow and some Gypsum and some Zeolite/ Blood bone fish meal if I can get it. For the Orchard ;) The battery I have made with the worm bin grows plants all the way through but when we get these off to 'Big School' as Max Lumes used to say to me. I know they will be needing some more CEC. I only want to be brewing up Blood Bone Fish and some Bio Bizz really.

I have some cuttings that are coming along, I have spread some things around now so should have a bit of a safty net.

I've got a few more types of seeds I wanna pop but I want to do that when I have all the Type 1's I want picked out and I can see where the pollen is going.

The Queens came back on really strong. They switched so early and they didn't sex yet what is a great sign. Compared to the Nic-It who sexed and triggered.

They had some stress and cold, now we will see what they're made of. When I last checked on them they was about 1/2 a foot tall.. Great size for now. Some of my seeds sown a week behind are kinda big :) OH well.. Lets see what happens.. On the cards we have a Queen x Queen. Queen x Nic.
Queen x Rude boy Jamaican, BBJamx Nic.

Going into the CheeseNLxBB Jams with Nic I can pull 25% Cheese 25%NL2 25% Haze 12.5 BB 12.5 Jam.. I'm gonna try up the primary's some how with some of the Early Pearl Skunk Haze from Shanti.

The Haze in Nic is a old Pure haze related to A or C Maybe.... I could step all over it with a F3 or F2 SSH I have kicking about but I want to use the Early Pearl Skunk Haze C line. I have the Ortega or NL I can play with.. It's gonna be fun seeing if the SSH or the EPSH or a hybrid of those Does anyting interesting.. Then we can start to go back into the parentals.

I did notice from my light tests that the first plants to chase the LED. Suntracking, when I was dimming or rather turning it uptil they moved. Kind of like the Darwin test are the first of my home made seeds to sex. (Intresting)

I have 3 plants that are very Shiva dominant the others are very pulpy.. I have one other that locked out of Magnesium and Zinc.

I'm not going to just kill all the plants that are not type 1 because that would be silly at this stage, one could get budrot from catapillers if they become an issue.. (oh I can't wait for that not!!!) In few weeks time the cuttings will be tested :)

Things got a little busy a while back.

The plant that had some form of lockout or issues. I decided that he would spend Easter up on the top of the Ridge. She spent 2 days in a new spot and took the wind and the sun and has taken some rain today. Hopefully it will rain 75% chance tomorrow.. That's my easter celebration.

I have 2 EQ females out of the initial germination test I made. They are currently in flower. One is quite far into flower. Making Buds on a very small frame.

I will have to put a light up 24/7 to do clones/ Reveg of these. I have 4 boys. These are less advanced than the females, a lot less advanced. Usually 99% of the time I find the boys flower fastest on 7 hours light. I will get some pics. It's been busy going from spot to spot and I don't take pics of my jobs try not to take the camera phone around with me when I'm not Idle in a property.

I am thinking i'll sow the rest of them EQ's but I went with the EQ x AH. It's warmer now and i've 20 of those in tissue and I've males I can work them with. That's what I asked for when I spoke with Shanti I wanted something I could do this with.

From the 21 plants. Nic is still flowering. I reduced the Homnemade seeds to 1 male. Best overall structure and responce to various stresses a 4Ap test and a behedding.

I have 6 of those that are female. 2 of whikh look very intresting. Especially now. You can just toss them outside without a giving '2 shits and a fuck' an no weaning, they grow at no DLI Like a weed.

So I have one in or next to the final hole. I've got the drippers going and i'll give it a few weeks to colonize the new pot while I look at the spot every day and see if there is a better place.

I have a few studs that are being kept around to see how they are with roots and other things like revegetation and vigor responce to attack.

As we go into 420 I have some plants flowering from an early type. I hope as they was started in 7 hours daylight they will just finish now to be honest. That would be perfect for my needs. I've pollen if and when.

I want to make an Auto that is what the Early is for I want 25% of a population to be auto 50% to be male and then some that will go the full season. That was the goal. Hight THC low CBD and some good taste and effects.

I don't think I'll get cuttings from these plants out for this summer but they will be kept if I can keep them.

Of the home made seeds I have 2 plants that look like they're more Cheese & NL and I've 4 of them that are heavy KC. These plants are not flowering but they have preflowered and showing sex but they're now as quick as EQ. If I can get the size of these 2 CxNL leaning plants to be as early as the EQ's with these 3-4 males I'll be happy.

It's gonna be intresting watching these EQ's reveg or not.. They smell really fruity :) I'm happy.

I might just get some of these SSHAC's into the mix.. Time will tell..

I'm gonna just keep this all in one thread for now. These are the other seeds I asked for/ won in the auction. EQxAH. As things get a bit more interesting I might open up a seperate thread. I was going to pop 2 straws but I might wait and see what comes of this first. I'd like to pop a few of the SSHxAC and I might end up with threads everywhere and i'd like to just make the odd update and keep the thread somewhat orderly and intresting. I must contact @Jakody back via Email about the other auction seeds and try get a delivery of them together.

As it goes these are the Pink moon sowing, Lets hope for some pink pistils :)

They have split ever so quickly. I've been smoking some pollen today and having a lazy one I've nipped out to the other kitchen for 3 Spliffs tonight. I've been making some bread every day for the last month and I've bulked out the mother and I keep nipping down to check on that and to see how the light is doing, I spent a while planting some vegetables into pots and I hung a lamp up for these seeds. I've put the shutters down and fired up the overhead LED. I have a fire working now with some Olive wood I found in the river bed to turn into Biochar, I have a little project I'm building. Got a shopping list and off into town early. I think I can squeeze another puff in and juast wing it tomorrow. I need to tighten this dough up so I can bake itn and see how far along these have come. Last time I went down I had 18 split :)

Herte are some plans.

1775791073846.jpeg

1775791110017.jpeg

I've had to prep some of the materials for this and shift a lot of stuff about, not looking forward to moving the stone but It's gonna be handy having all these worms to make planters this time next year.

I think I can plant into the base layer of one of these and with an early enough type sow maybe 100+ in it and just let them do their thing over the winter season. Kinda like a hotbed that I can pull a tarp over for some experiments.

Nic-It finished under the 1m mark and is 50% haze i'm sure his sisters will be a bit bigger frame but I think I could fit a lot of the Early queens in this or some massive ones. I'd like to cross these NL seeds with the Early Skunk or vice versa and have a play and see what comes of it. Those are the projects. That and attempt laying some plastic mulch/ agricultural film over a few 18mm lines for a laugh :) What spacings ?

1776116353453.png

I'm getting to the point in my progeny trial where I can see if I have found some True Early phenotypes opposed to a 'Fast' version or some Autoflowers. I think I can rule out the auto by a certain date. I'm looking for a 'Unicorn' that will continue to flower through the increasing DLI showing an internal hormonal stability. A high threashold for not revegging, triggering early, finishing early and mantaining sexual stability. Size and yeild is irrelevant for this trial.

I have cuts of Nic i've been rooting. They don't want to root they want to flower and are flowering. They/ He is maintaining sexual integrity through the stresses. I will hsve him back under a lamp soon and keep the original seed plant as a "P". I hope when I visit the garden next that I have a bit more size to everything and no revegging. I will then test for smells in the flowers and see about pollinating some of the lower bits.

I also need to see which of the males has responded best to the behedding. What's got the symmetry and the stability. I'm not really fusses about a plant count but i'd like to be able to kill ones that won't be needed showing inferiority in some form. I had 2 plants that wouldn't grow at all under the natural lighting and made me use the lights which I am happy I did. I need to see how these 2 are doing. The females were the most vigarous and the quickest to respond to any form of light. I hope that I have found a way to select for this on a larger number for next time. Last time I looked I had some pink and orange fluff going on. It was a short visit to do a repot and collect a plant for the outdoors.

The plant i moved had had a rought week. It's had a right old hard time before the EL Niño. It's taken the wind rain and looks a little beaten but the new growth is lush and verdant. I would like it to Veg out a while. It was a trial plant and some more can go out now the rains have gone.

I planted 11 EQxAH into some dirt this Am and placed them into some animal proof propagator and put them outside. I made the first plant cage up tonight from wire mesh as a bit of protection from the wind. I've put the seeds that had not shed back next to the light in the "BioGerminator" and gave it a run through of the RW. I filled some bigger pots for these 5-6. I will add the others to the second tray & make a note and see if they will split while I deal with the garden this week. Depending on how these seeds take to the colder nights I might put them into the make shift greenhouse. I'd prefer to let them run el natural and see what's what.

IMG_2433.JPG

These are my second sowing of Early Queen. They will be planted into 6" deep cells 2" I picked up a 60 cite for the task. I cant be bothered to muck about with pots incase I have to move them. I was thinking I might try get this tray to show sex a little faster and come down sooner 🤷‍♂️

IMG_2426.JPG IMG_2428.JPG
IMG_2410.JPG

So the mix is basically the same. I've white & dark peat + coir, Biochar/Gypsum/EWC I added some perlite and vermiculite.. It's cut with the Topsoil 'Clay Loam' with shale/grit 4mm-8mm, it has been aged with some goat manure 50/50, added Sulphur and cooked out. I'm gonna use a dibber and put them in to the cotlydons when they shed. then theyre going in a gage full sun. Full wind. Cowabunga..

I've got a cage set for one on my CxNL plants. I moved it from the Salon de Sol with the added lighting hours before the storms, It's taken a bit of a beating in a trasnsplant rain and leaching of the media, it's just gone into flower and not really streached and won't fill the cage to use it as support it's more animal protection.

I don't want to be making indervidiual cages.

I'm wondering what I might do to grow these 30+ plants while looking for the females and pulling the males, Will the 3 ltr pots be ok till they sex if I have a nicer bed for them or shal I plant them into big pots...

I'll be making Bhang from the males, I'd rather not be growing thins that will be trimmed of tiring the media premature.

I got irrigation at the gardens so leaching is a small concern, i'm not going to be running water around. I think I woulod rather pick an area and group them more than space them about like dot plants, less plastic. Concentrated topdressings and amending and space for the plants to search for the nutriment.

So was thinking what container/planter/bed... How much wire in metres do I need to have a garden fence for 30 :) I've a few more plants I wanna fit in too thanks to Shantibaba and the team here. I don't want to have to put cloches over them all but it's an 'Idea' for a while.

I've not got pots for all these here, I have a fe 70's and some 250's and some 35's. I've a mountain of shit! I need to have a think.. I need an idea about heights to group them for wires and posts and curtains. I'm mulling a few things over including what and how I might be retaining any sport plants and what is the winter garden going to be so I can stage some of the main crop and transplant when the early stuff pulls out the beds.. I have used Pergolas before and I think I might erect 4 pillars to make protection, wires/shade with a removeable roof but thats a long way off needing that. It might not be needed, it's a quick fix. I don't want to be filling pots or carrying moving them. Just typing it out I think it's a fenced garden bed and 3 litre pots for the next sowing for the changeover inside outside and Salon del sol.

So that the goings on. I've been making my mulch/soilconditioner, stripping bark and shredding it. I've a nice compost pile going of meadow/pasture. Gonna grab a few bales for my worms, for the floor of the pens of plants to keep the dog pound out.

I'll update with the 2025 sowings over the weekend going into 420. I might be doing some pollination happening. I have a few snips here to dust and Nic will have new dusty bits. Soon the smoking bit comes :)

Thank you Shantibaba. Thank you Howard. Thanks MNS team
