So, here’s the little Early Queen plant! It dried out quickly—no surprise, given the small buds, which was also a trait of its "mother" plant. (Though, interestingly, the mother’s buds actually developed mold, even in much better weather conditions.) I managed to get four joints out of this little Queen—three have already been smoked. The flavor is wonderfully full-bodied, matching its aroma: a sweet, spicy, "cheesy," Skunk-like profile. The effect is euphoric and, after about 30 minutes, becomes genuinely potent—something you wouldn't necessarily expect just by looking at it. In terms of potency, it actually outperforms the early-harvested Apple and Banana! It’s a truly strong, high-quality outdoor strain that’s a real pleasure to smoke—and that’s without any curing time! In terms of quality—aroma, flavor, resin content, and the caliber of that resin—it ranks right up there with the best outdoor/patio plants I’ve ever grown under the sun, and that’s despite some less-than-ideal growing conditions. My "Passion" strain isn't bad to smoke, either, but the Early Queen is in a completely different league. It would be great to find an even earlier-finishing phenotype—if it could maintain these same qualities. The Queen I grew reached about 1.20 meters; at that size, it would have been an absolute yield monster, too. In any case, it delivered a real "wow" factor when smoked—starting with that sweet, spicy, sharp, "cheesy" Skunk aroma.
