L - The pakalolo's look very sativa, but I have a feeling that from here out the buds will form relatively quickly. It is claimed to be Hawaiian x Sk#1. I don't expect to go past 12/13 wks of flower. I wouldn't mind....

redeye - You are inconsiderate. Giving props to the plants before me. Um, w/o the plants, 'barletta' doesn't exist, lol.

GM - I think that smoking the doghair is good for my soul. The same way that mixing their food with my bare hands is good for their soul...

Well, I didn't chicken out, and everybody ('cept leo!) benefits.
The patches.

There is mostly MangoWidow in the left (close) patch with some SuperSpice mixed in. The far patch has Spice up front, SuperShit tall and proud, MW to the right. The Aurora B is HUGE, but looks like some freak nev's plant. Just calyxes running up the stems. FROSTY!!!, but I think that she will be turned into food/oil...

Spice Bud. Same cut as the one that I wrote up last night. Ima be keeping a BUNCH of that plant. She held up to the shitty weather MUCH better than expected. If I knew she would be OK, I'd have left the others.

ct - I have no other real options at this point. I was planning on either shutting down, OR building something to run an odorsok for 2-3wks. I got lucky with the first round, and there is 1/3 of the plant matter now, after I took the fans. HOLY SHIT is that MW leafy. Indoors it is tolerable, but outdoors, it is MOSTLY leaf, and it is fans/leather leaf. The buds smell incredible, though. Got me a lil worried for that carbon filter.

Pounder - You would deffo whip my ass. I lack the focus to dominate. I make good shots, but I am inconsistent. Got darts???

Prolly gonna go get the SuperSpice seedplant in a few days. Now I'm just watching for frost. I didn't see much mold today, and everything should be in by ~Oct 14 anyway. If it starts today, it won't crush me, lol. I can't get over the Aurora. It is like a sativa diva. No buds, but dozens of 4' branches covered in calyxes and crystals. She is 'behind' the SuperShit, but she split and is on the ground in the pix. Has to be 8'+. Doesn't look like buds are even coming, just more frost.

It's ALL GOOD down below (cept the humidity. And the rain that's falling AGAIN.). I actually didn't know that I had so much MW out there. It performed ok, but needs more time. I pulled the largest colas off of the MW, a few off of the SuperShit, 95% of the Spice. Ima go back in a few days for the Aurora's. Depending on the conditions, I may take the remainder down. I hope that I can take it to ~Oct 15ish, but would be plenty happy with 10 more days.

I have practically zero experience outdoors, and very little experience with growing... what do you think causes the extra leafiness outdoors? Do you think it may have something to do with what you feed them, perhaps the extra nitrogen?

It's gotta be the strain. I didn't really feed after I planted. The stand alone prolly got 2-3 feeds with ~3 gal of Age old grow/bloom, but the patches are cut off from the water, so no food, no water. I topdressed with P guano, Rock Phosphate, greensand, and a LIL 10-10-2 guano bout Aug 15. Very little N. The Spices are a DREAM to trim under the same conditions.

I would have preferred another strain in the #'s that the MW was out in, but I was rushed, and didn't have a real plan. Next year, I will know what is going out. Hell, that MW was from a pack of Dreamtime, so it might be something else. Smells AWESOME, but is way light.

EDIT - Funny that you mention the xtra N. I feed almost no N in flower, and as a general rule, my plants are smallish and not leafy. I saw another room a few days ago, and every plant was tall and stretchy, and most were way over fed. BIG green hooking leaves. Dude uses 'all the additives', but no ppm/ec to really see what they are getting. His buds end up tasting fine, but 1/2way thru flower, they were beasts.

It's 4:20, and I'm smokin some Orange D with some scissor (mostly MW). That OD is strong, but it NEEDS a 10 day cure. It's the only strain that I have that doesn't smoke like FIRE after being sweated 1-2x's, then 2 days in the jar. Still, where am I?

The smells sitting in a room that is 80% full flower with a bunch of hangers, trimming some MW and Spice are unreal. I think that the MW is creeping past my filter a lil bit. It is STUPID humid, and I prolly stink like bud, so I'll know for real later. How's that for selling a strain. "Double up on the filters, kiddies."

I have some STINKY stuff too. Shit, Spice, Orange D, (had)cannaloupe, G/Sk, SSH, etc... NEVER smelled anything coming outta the exhaust. I have to clean up, then check.

Where is a good spot for replacement Carbon? If I get say 1/2 capacity, and mix the new and the old, I should be good for a few months, no? Kinda shady trying to buy 100lbs at a time... I saw someone refil one with cat litter one time. Is that for real?


EDIT - I just dropped a housefly with a hot breath of OD/scissor. He was chillin on my monitor, I took a big rip and hit him with it. He flew ~3", then dropped to the table. He was running all around, away from my finger. He obviously was too stoned to fly, so I put him outside. I've done it by catching them and blowing a hit into your hand/a bag, but I've never got one with some dragon breath before!!

3 down, GM. I took the Aurora B and a bunch of 'leftovers' today. I'll be finishing up @ Farms within a week. The MW would have done incredibly well if I could have taken her ~2-3 more wks. The mango smell REALLY comes out outdoors. Inside it was (to me) an un-named funk, but everyone who smelled it said mango, so... But outdoors, it is a sweet, funky mango kushy smell.

The Aurora was split and showing a lil mold (despite the *ahem* 'open' budstructure) so I decided to take her.

I didn't even notice the white stuff on the stem until I saw the pic, I think that it is a 'flash' trick.

Most of the 7' plant looks like this.

This was the only 'bud' on the plant.

You know that you are a spoiled grower when you are walking through the woods with a garbage bag full of buds thinking - "What is this, 1/4?? 1/2??? pffft.." That aurora is un-sellable, but I but it smokes like straight FLAME. Just calyxes covered in purplish resin. No leaf. 2 pistils per calyx. Count 'em, lol. I just pulled the fans, but I'll get some good pix 2moro. Her sisters will get a checkin on (around the cornah) in a few days. Funny, the plant looks done, it's just calyxes here and there...

The SuperShit (Shit x SSH). LOVE this plant. No mold, huge, gonna finish by ~Oct 10, BUBBLEGUM HAZE.

She had 4 arms ~8', but very little (left, lol) underneath. I took the pics straight on ~5.5-6' (I'm over 6'). The MW's in the far patch are ~3-4' tall.

The patch with the SuperShit has a MW and a Super Spice left in it, and the other patch is a goodsized MW, and a superspice that is not going to be/do much...
