Jman - Whattap! I'm gonna yield probably 20-30% of what I thought 2 months ago, and I have a lot of harvest work still ahead of me, but I am happy as a pig in shit. Or donuts.

I was doing some thinking, and give some positive vibes to citiboy Sal. He is learning bout the 'humboldt slide' first hand. He is a GOOD guy, and the dude who is 'teaching' him is teaching him more than just 'put the seed in the cup...'. I keep reminding him to absorb ALL that he can, that way no matter how things end up for him, he has learned. For example, I inquired to Sal about some of the gear that he 'acquired' ~mid July (SuperSpice clones, EQ seedlings, SSH f2's, and S.Spice seeds started ~may). Sal was told by dude that those plants 'died'. Huh? Yeah, when you cut em down, dry em and sell em, they 'die'. Sal is learning that money DOES grow on trees, and enemies are NEVER worth it. He keeps talkin bout next year, which is a good sign...
I can't stop smiling bout the SuperShit. Bet your ass, I'll be looking for some selfed seeds. I will hit the same Shit momma (45day) with the new SSH male, but no telling if the seeds will be similar. But I'll tell when I grow em...

Bored as fukk (actually avoiding the 15+ hrs of trimming that HAS to get done by Sunday pm), and I was running through my own thread (narcissistic much?) a lil bit. Wanted to mention that I've been eating some popcorn buds straight off of the plants (spice mostly...) before the 1-1.5 hr walk back. By the time I get home I am whipped, AND the nugs are kicking in.Great colors, looks good enough to eat,keep em comin
Aurora is a JOKE. Nl x Sk? hehehe. I figgured that this would be a similar purchase to the Shits when I bought em - under $5/seed, 'super Sk', 2 longtime breeders. This is the most sativa STRUCTURED plant that I've ever grown. I bet that she fits on 3-4 hangers trimmed, and MAYBE is 2oz.
3-4 hangers of anything else so far ('cept the early spices, they were scrappy) is ~6-8oz. I'ma trim em up, and get some pix.

Yeah, that pic was with the aid of a 18w cfl ~4' away, lol. I don't like flash shots, because the plants look unnaturally frosty. That is 1 of 3 POSSIBLY 4 Aurora B. from Flying Dutchmen. The lineage is NL momma x Sweet Sk (sam's sk#1??)daddy. Supposed to grow tall and chunky, claimed finish mid Oct. She looks almost done looking at the resin coverage/color. I guess the lumbo/mex in the Sk hooked up with the thai in the NL. The other 2 confirmed AB's look a lil more sativa dom than my Shits. They are in a 'partial sun' spot, so they didn't get too tall.
The 1 I cut smells delicious. Like sweet incense, but not hazy. Really like incense and maybe vanilla? The stems are TINY, and just as covered as the calyxes, so I bet she smokes fine. But a gallon ziplock will be 1-2 zips...
Ima check on the other 2 Aurora B's 2moro, and prolly chop my lone SuperSpice 2moro or the next day. The OB SuperSpice goes into jars 2nite, I'll get pix. I just had to CLIP a blunt.
I rolled a nice sized dutch of random popcorn that was sitting on the hoods, and a couple lil buds I found on the floor. It was some Shit, and the MW and Spice from a few days ago. STRONG. I love outdoor buds. The smell is so strong it's a lil scary, and the bud tastes and delivers!!!
I transplanted the g/Sk's and Shits into 3.4l pots until they sex. I transplanted SSH 6 into a 2gallon, and the big SSH 4 clone into a big round (I think 4 gallons). The g/sks and shits only got a handfull of kelp on transplant. The runt of each got a lil plant success, and they all got watered with molasses, Liquid Karma, and B-1 Red. They were hurting a lil, but I wanted em dry to keep the fungus gnats at bay.
That SuperSpice x ssh(fem) Ima start to call 'the beast'. MONSTER STRETCH. Big fans, but sloppy stems. Ima leave her in the gallon for another week, then go to a 2 gallon. She is right there with the most aggressive SSH's that I've grown in terms of vigor. I get some pix of her 2moro.

2 posts today I lost to not 'copying' and getting bumped. Grrr..
Turned some Aurora B scraps that I had on the hoods into a nice sized (bigger than I expected) blunt. I have no idea what that weighed, but it looked like a ~1g blunt. VERY stinky/skunky breaking up. Like skunk and deadstuff, but again not haze or cheese. New to barletta smells. Ima get REAL familiar with the finished product over the next few months.
NICE high. Clear, crisp head high. Eyes 'skittish'. Fueley aftertaste, could be due to lack of cure. Just as strong as anything else I have. BLAZED by 3/4 of the blunt. Way sativa dom, but not 'empty' like the cannaloupe. Didn't check on the sisters today, but soon...

I jarred up the outback SuperSpice last night. ~45g, and should have gone another week or 2. It's the plant with the sexy purple pistils. I just smoked a little doob, and WOW. Possibly the strongest bud that I have. The high is reminiscent to the G/Sk and pakalolo. It carries the 'haze effect' when you smoke, leave the room, and when you walk back in, you smile uncontrollably from the smell. This is my headstash fer a while.

Finished trimming what I have (except headstash...), so I figgured that I could get some more. Actually, we are expecting a FREEZE 2night, so my summer officially ends 2moro. WTF!!! Last summer I took some sweet haze and cannaloupe to the last wk in Oct, and Oct was AWESOME. Oh well.
I grabbed the Auroras around a few corners, and the stand alone SuperSpice. A lil let down in the yield dept from the Aurora's, but I had em in a shitty spot. The smell is amazing. Like I said, it's a 'field in full flower' NOTHING like weed. My first thoughts were 'fishing as a kid' after smelling these 2 plants.
The SuperSpice is one of my fav plants of the summer. Lime/cheese/haze, STUPID colorful, and probably ~2-3 zips. I expect everything that I brought today will end up in the winter stash.

Sounds like you're having a blast my friend, so far this October is holding up quite nicely for me. We had a frost warning a few nights ago, and it actually frosted at my place but only in certain spots interestingly enough. Im not so sure my plants were actually in any kind of danger, but non the less its nipping at my door step as well.
