Some shots of Spice. I'm chopping the 'early' spices (not pictured here) in ~10 days, and they will dictate whether or not I get these ~Sept 20 with the Shits.

Pix of the river where I smoked a nice sized blunt of early unknown and indoor Rox. Got REAL stoned. Lil dog laughed at the 10 miles on the walk; now she is out like a light. I didn't even feed her.

Yeah, this time I smoked AFTER I left the spot. That stream is 1.5-2 miles from my house and ~800 vertical feet downhill. So we got there after ~3 hrs and 7 miles or so. I was ready to stay for a WHILE. I forgot to drink at Farms, and I don't wanna drink there as it is downstream from a municipal waste treatment spot. The water smells/seems fine, and I swim in it, the dogs don't hesitate to drink it, and the 1 is SUPER careful. She just 'rinses' if the water is questionable (standing, smelly, off color..).

Rox is sticky sweet indica bud. It gets a positive smoke report from ol barletta. Tasty, and very stony. :cool:

Buy a water filter. You can pump right from the strwam and drink it safely. PUR the kind I have:D

I'm trimming that #4 right now. She is gonna yield quite well for a 38" plant in 3gallons. The fragrance is fantastic!

The water @ farms is from a limestone spring, as I have noticed almost no variation in the temperature or water level over the summer. THAT WATER IS THE JAM. I grew up on a stream that was limestone spring fed, and that's what's up. Delicious, cold water all summer long, gravelly/sandy bottoms, no slime or muck... I chug from the streams at farms and the lil creek coming off the hill. That stream feeds the 1 I showed y'all in the 'bare-foot' post. I have no problem drinking from either of these 2 above the water treatment.

I have been very lucky with stomach viruses, as I am sloppy. I eat old meat, cold meat, drink right from streams, rarely wash my hands, etc... To my knowledge, I never got food poisoning or a bad stomach virus. I was FUKKED UP for a week after I had the lil hiccup and was up for 48 hrs getting these plants out. But that was stress. Even when I was drinking, I prided my self on NEVER throwing up (once I was an 'official' alcoholic). :rolleyes:
 
I got my 12 fine coco bricks (no name brand, seem to be EXACTLY the same as botanicare) in the mail from the low profile online outlet today. Mixed ~8gallons into the flower box, and ~2 gallons into the veg box. Killer soil.

I was out of bud after my big morning bowl, and I chopped a 10 wk SuperSpice (sat) and an 81 day iffy. I had some buds out in the sun, drying away for today/tomorrow's smoke. I hadn't smoked the SSpice (sat) before today. I am looking for reasons to be this high right now. I smoked a bowl, ~2 good hits, and 1 shitty hit. LIFTED. I am way higher than I expected to be if I had smoked that iffy. I ate, I didn't work out or anything... I'm havin trouble keeping my eyes from wandering, my body feels like it's floating a lil (lifted), and my mouth is like tha Sahara. I either have the KILLER or I am an idiot and need a 1/2 gallon of water, and a nap. :rolleyes:

I will deffo do a real smoke report another time. I have a BUNCH of this cut coming out in the next few wks (sidebyside, lollypops, threw in the mom ~10 days ago). I have to play REAL nice with the only clone. I didn't keep any more, cause do I need ANOTHER 10+ weeker? If it does THIS every time, keep everything else...

I mentioned the DNA Martian Mean Green that I'm running from seed. I have 2 that are staying nice and short, and look like they are setting up to yield. I lean in, and give 1 a nice grope, and what do I see, seeds. LOTS of seeds. I can't find a single banana or sac, or see any pollen or anything, so I figgure that they went from the inside out. The 2 that look like they were gonna yield look mostly seeded...

The Kalichakra and pakalolo look good, with the Kalichakra looking much more indica dom than the other female that I got. I have 2 confirmed females from the bagseed, and I'm calling Sat. 1 wk.

Hmmmm.... Taking SSH 4 2moro @ sunrise, 64days since first flower. Looks like a skunk pheno. Big, deceptively dense buds, spicy skunky smell. Lil haze, lil pepper, lil lemon. We'll see how the cuts do.

Early Spices came down tonite. I was soooo relieved to see them still there. I would have waited a few days, but the dead vegetation was making me crazy, so down it came. I have NO IDEA how much I have. 4 clothes hangers full of untrimmed, light 'colitas', 1 ballast covered in untrimmed popcorn, 3 hoods covered in untrimmed popcorn. ~4-6 oz?? I dunno. I have a big bin already filled with scrappy buds for some bubble.

Thanks land_0. I just trimmed the smokable popcorn and 2 clothes hangers up. I actually have 5 hangers. I put the trimmed popcorn together, and I'm thinking ~a zip, but still have no idea about the hangers. Smells KILLER. Needed either better root space/water/nutes, or to have been trimmed harder. I ended up with too much spindly buds, but that will make for a lot of bubble. Damn, I hate trimming. I'm glad I did a bunch today, though. I'll deffo be able to trim it all 'wet'. I hate trimming dry, I feel like I'm destroying the buds. :)
 
show me one person who likes trimming hahahaha ..i am thinking about trim machine ,but i'm out of budget so far..my bee next month .I am alone and i have still a lot of plants to trimm (outdoor&indoor)-i hope so hahaha.Which strain from MNS is known for less trim needs ?mango widow?I know you check out a LOT of MNS strains so ,please contribute on this one.

The only outdoor that I've trimmed so far is this spice. It is like ALL outdoor plants. Shitty-leafy, lol. It is decently frosty, however, so I should end up with a few 'shooter' marbles of hash. I will let you know about the rest of the strains. Indoor, Spice is one of the easier strains to trim (low leaf). That other cut that I had indoor was more indy dom, and CAKE to trim. I wonder if the outdoor will be relatively easy too.

My body has no problem walking all over to these plants, but 2 hrs of trimming has FUKKED up my neck and bicep. Fells like I was striking a pose for ~an hr. This wad of scissor hash will take the edge off...
 
bud riming machine LOL dont get the The Aardvark iv seen it on youtube i can trim faster with a toenail clippers.
 
I always thought "Those machines mutilate the buds..." Then I stuffed MY buds int a backpack for an hour, and trimmed a bunch by the light of a computer monitor/tv screen. "I mutilate buds!!!", lol. Outdoor trimming is such a friggen production. Oh well, I should be done today/tomorrow, and the next round comes in ~10 days.
