Pfffffft... as a dood around here say...

If I make the 40, I'll bury 5, move the rest, and take 3-4g's to go around the US/canada, and 3-4g's to roll through Europa. Won't be coming with any nuggs :) That's why I'll be hitting you guys up :)

nah I was proper joking mate... besdies.. anything green is worth a crapload more to you on that side of the pond... I nearly choke sometimes when I read this $450+ business.

hehehe if the timings right you may get to sample "yellow widow"...its like white widow.. only grown by me LMFAO! :D

Superlolo's. This weekend is 10wks since 1st, ~12/13 from flip. The oldest plant is 73 days since 1st, and the youngest 69 days.

The 2 short ones are ready, and coming down with the devils this week. All smell more like momma than like ssh (and espesially their hazy daddy). Sweet cheese sativa. The plant ont the far right is sort of skunky with a very nice tight budstructure. The more sativa doms need 10-14 days, and are coming when the veggin's are ready to go in.

I have what looks like a short pakalolo male, and 2 unknown indicas (prolly MeT, Shit, or Dreamtime) from an emergency stash of seeds that I'm runnin out. I'm 95% sure that the male is a pakalolo, cause it has that 'dull' look to the leaves. I'm gonna keep him, cause he is short. I dropped the last 11 of that emergency batch last night.

Flipped the Shit f2's, c99 x hp f2's. I have some pakalolo, and ssh 6 cuts rootin/vegging that I'll flip with the FreeB's starting in a week or so. I'll be looking for a commercial cut from the seeds going in (emergency, Shit, c99/hp, FreeB), so I'l have to break out the duct tape and the sharpie to label em...
:^)

Hey B !!!!

Those made some really nice colas didn't they?

Well done!!

moral hazard v. systemic risk ????

Obama and company could care less about either of those. They are ruining our country with their spending.

I come down on the mortal risk side though. It is WRONG to reward people for bad behaviour. PERIOD....and this is exactly what is going on with Obama and Congress. They are rewarding homeowners who took out loans they had no business taking out and rewarding banks who made the bad loans. Raising taxes on everyone, not just the so-called "rich".

The notion our country would collapse if we let banks and homeowners go bankrupt is a sign of no faith in America to solve problems. We're not getting out of this mess by spending money on the "undeserving" amongst us.

I see on the morning news that the Euros are showing their true colors now. The "haves"(Germany) don't want to help the "havenots"(Latvia in the story). Imagine that. When crunch time comes the "productive" don't want to subsidize the "unproductive"...and rightly so IMO.

As bad as things are here in the US, and times are gonna get much worse here....I would NOT want to be living anywhere in Europe.

I understand that the top 1% looks out for the interests of the top 1%. Their actions (spending/investing/building/expanding/retracting) DO have an effect on the rest of the 99%'s standard of living.

Moral hazard v systemic risk is a GREAT 'endless argument'. (Mental masturbation). I have to go, my brain is getting chaffed ;)

the bank of england is goin to drop the interest rates again to 0.5 the lowest is ever been

its the way its always been

money is the root of all evil and we are all slaves to it

Yeah, but they also created the conditions that allow everyone reading this (assuming no physical disability) to cultivate his or her own lifestyle. I believe that anyone in and south of the grain belt could pull 10lb on his own, no lights, no oil (well you need scissors and a 5 gallon bukkit or 2). The least that 10lb of homegrown dank is worth in the states is ~25k. A tax-free 25 looks like 40. Not a lot, but plenty to live on (right now). If you live in a place where the cost of living is higher, odds are so is the bud. 10 to me means a tax-free 40-50.

Hey barletta

hope youre doing well man

Those superlolos look very nice
btw how long did you veg those seedplants before flipping to 12/12?

Thank you guys for the compliments. IMO, the plants that have come out since ~Christmas are HURT. It really just comes down to the cold. The soil may have been a lil heavy, and I may have had a lil 'aggressive' watering regimen, but the cold prevented the roots from branching (giving me size problems), and the compact, heavy soil gave me nutrient uptake issues. The weather has been changing from "dead of winter" to early spring (+10F deg in high/low temps outside), and my room has reflected the change. The plants are much happier, even the superlolo's. They have all put on another round of bud growth late, and the most sativa 3 look to be cranking again. They are drinking like flowering plants should ~1l per gallon 2-3x a wk...

The 'mergencies, SSH cuts, and especially these Superlolo's (seem to be most sensitive) have looked like shit this winter, and the plants that are coming out soon/now are starting to look better (Dev's, ssh, pakalolo's). I fully expect the garden to run like it did prior to the cold weather by the end of this month. I have had the room 'down below' since ~April of last year, so I didn't know the cold would be that kind of issue.

L - Those were vegged for ~2-3 weeks in solo cups. They prolly spent a week under the MH in veg. I kept em in the solo cups until they sexed. They took ~3wks to sex after the flip. If the room were running like it did spring/summer/fall, I would expect the 2nd and 3rd tallest plants to be the same height as the tallest one, and the shorties would have been lil budsticks. I deffo want to re-run these in proper conditions, but I have a lot going on right now, so they have to wait. :D

I wonder if I had had more indica dom plants if the cold would have hurt as much?

Some shots of the Superlolo coming out 2night.

The 2 lil ones come out 2night, the 2 taller ones are coming the end of the week with the SSH 4 (9wks today) and the Dev's #1 cola. The tallest one gets another ~2wks.

hi B how you doin

lookin good fella, how are your cuts and beans doin for your summer of LOVE

Only ~3 of the emergency 'breeder' seeds popped, but I planted all 11. I also dropped ~10 random 'barletta' bagseeds in a cup of water w/a drop of kelp. I'll plant them 2night. I MAY go 12/12 out of the box with these. It will be nice to see if I can pick out the mom's from my own seeds. Possible moms were - Pakalolo #4; SSH's 4, 5, 6, G/Sk's 1, 2; and MAYBE Shit, Spice, Pakalolo #3, SSH #1, SuperSpice (runt and tweener). Dads are either ogk x g13/h, SSH(male 2) or G/Sk.

It would be nice if I ended up with a Skunkman T.Haze x Sk female from the breeder emergencies. I cracked ~7 of em in Nov, and a night under ~55deg killed the seedlings. They would have struggled through the winter, but I wouldn't mind sticking a 4month flowering haze in the corner, while I wait for my Nl x Hz...

Gonna keep the Pakalolo male for a while. If I don't get a healthy male from the Shitlets, I'll use him on the female shitlets, and the Dev's females. :D

EDIT - Hey MrMr :) I haven't done anything for the spring yet. I'll be dropping seeds on St. Paddy's day, and clearing veg space between now and then. I'll be running both the ssh #4 and #5 naturally (no light/flower manipulation) with the EQ cut if I can get the momma to grow, lol. I'm also going to be looking for a commercial indoor cut from the newest round of seeds. Guess where the extra clones/plants will go? :D

St paddy's day sees me dropping a pack of Shit, ~20 g/Sk f2's, and I'd like to make it an even 60 with the Dev's f2's. If I don't get enough dev's f2's, I'll drop the rest of my Shit x (ogk x g13/h).

Hey B!!!!

I swear I don't know how you keep track of all the different strains and plants you grow. You got a sweet young thang stashed away you aren't telling us about? A so-called secretary? :D

Sounds like you are gonna have fun this coming season.

I keep the seedlings in different colored cups. :) LOL, I start 1/2 the shit I want to, and nature (cold and mice) kills it off...

I'll be cloning and labeling (and running from clone...) from the Shitlets (shit f2's most likely), the Devil's, c99 x HP f2's, and the FreeB's looking for an indoor 'producer' clone. I'll prolly just run out the SSH and G/Sk f2's to get a feel for em. If the G/sk's are long flowering by nature, I will have to figgure something to replace them with for outdoors. The G/Sk's just seemed SOOO aggressive inside, I bet they get huge outside. I dunno. Maybe I'll throw some FreeB's and Spicy Mudd's out if the G/Sk's are sativa heavy.

I'll be flipping ~10 FreeB's and ~7 *secret fire* ;) later this week, and I'll be flipping the G/Sk and SSH f2's in ~ a week/10 days. I'm calling today day 1 for 2 indica heavy 'breeder' bagseed.

LOL, I STILL plan on working 2 generations or so of the SuperSpices this summer. I'll prolly drop ~25 seeds (of the ~70 left) ~early April.

But really, I do my organizing by posting and labeling pix. :D

Like I said, CLEARING veg space, lol.

G/Sk and SSH f2's ~ a wk above ground.

"Bagseed Emergencies" (3 of 11 popped) in 10 blue cups, "barletta's baggage" in the 10 clear cups. I dropped I think 14 into a cup with water and kelp, and they all sank in ~12 hrs. 12 hrs later, none popped, but I planted em all. I expect 5+ plants from the breeder's seed, and 9-10 from mine. Mine are from buds I was smoking ~New Years. Most likely to be SSH6, Pakalolo4 (listed as #2 when she was growing fall 08), or G/Sk's (either) moms, but could be anything.

I moved the clones under the shoplight, and they LOVE IT. I think they like the song the ballast sings. How's your hertz?

Thoughts on God...

Hey, I'm not at all religious, but I am very spiritual. The distinction that I make is that while spirituality focuses on recognizing forces at work that are beyond human scope and human control, religion tries to cram spirituality into a neat lil exclusive club. I believe that there is a huge amount of unseen/unrecognized energy/power in the world. I don't by any stretch consider human awareness/existence the pinnacle of intelligent/conscious energy.

The reason I decided to write this is that I recently was made aware (again, and almost on a daily basis if I look) of God working in my life. I dunno who or what God is, I just know that he/it is the collection of forces in/outside of the 5 senses. I am not so arrogant as to try to define God. I try to live my life so as to improve the experience of those around me. I have recently hit a lil financial rough time, having ~enough food to last a week or so, and having NO cash when it runs out... So ok, let go and let God, I have done what I could to get (in and) out of the mess. I know that I won't starve, and the heat will stay on, and the lights on, and whatever. I'll survive, and I'm grateful for that. For the last few weeks, I've been forcing myself to be grateful for something (usually health, dogs, ability to grow new money) when I start to stress over things that I had no immediate control over.

So my AWESOME neighbors are going to S.America for a few weeks, and I am doggie sitting. I have been looking forward to having the dog over for a while. She is great friends with my 2 youngest, and I love her. She is cool with (doesn't mess with) the old dogs. Her owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They bring me homemade food ~3-4x's a wk, and never ask me for ANYTHING. Before the doggie came, they told me that they were getting dogfood, etc...

So I really was looking forward (putting mucho positive energy into) to watching the dog, so my neighbors can go relax in their home country for a while. As of 11AM, the neighbors have dropped off a 52lb bag of pedigree (~40bux),a big bag of cookies (~10 bux) a case and a half of cans (~40 bux) for the dogs. For me, they dropped off 3lb of frozen ground turkey, a quart or 2 of homemade chicken soup, and a thank you with $100 cash. I wasn't looking to get anything out of the deal except MAYBE extra dog food for the first week or so (then I would be feeding her, but no prob).

When I do things with others' benefit in mind, I am rewarded beyond what I can do for myself. :D Without asking, I have had a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders (feeding myself and feeding the dogs). :D

Hi Barletta,

Seams you keep busy, as usual :)

I was without internet for a few days :(

When are you going to run the SSH f2's? Magic genetics inside those beans :D
