Devil #1 have pistilles

Devil #4 is confirmed male today :)

..i knew it, kind off :)

But nevermind, I grow out what I got :)

Hello,

here is update about some 1 flower week ending.

Plants are getting lot of biocanna nutes and all plants love it so far.
Watering with 600-800ml twice a week.
Temperatures at 27-29°C & humidity approx. 60%


Devil 1
looks to have beautifull flowering start, slight skunky smells so far. Training some lower branches till they reach above..

Devil 4
is later flowering male, just recently revieled its nature. You get some pretty tasty smells on stem rub, fruity ones. And the flower clusters look pretty big and full.

was trained to the side a bit and is doing some great job in filling the skewed space.

something for you, to take a look how fast things are happening ! 8)
2Females and so much fun, with this great company...

NK23 will be transfered back here -> Northern Kush23 x Northern Widow <- where the grow log belongs, so I can upload more photos for each of both devils.

Male and female Devil are doing fantastic job, the smells are still very subtle, you have to get nose really up and close, but Iam awaiting something good Iam pretty sure.
Great structure, oh and as you can see Iam still doing some training for better bud coverage.

Also, I have smoked cured Devil buds from previous not so lucky grow, and Buds cured to perfection at this short time.
At all no chemicals residue (from bug disaster) in taste, now the buds are smooth as butter.
Taste is kind of affie - one with subtle honey and bit lime aftertaste.
The effects are great, no knockout so far, it is pretty up, yet after some while you have just a bit of apetite for all kinds of sweets.
It will eventually make you want to do nothing, make you lazy, yet you can do things in just normal way... So great for resting, yet not sleeping.

I find out interesting, that it made me want to read a book :D

So how it goes along...
I have upped the power of LED to 200W - still some room there, it can output some 245W - but it is too hot there, so will stick with it as it is right now.
Male has to get out of tent, because he started droping some pollen, which is fine, cause I will grab some and polinate some lower branches of Devil to get some mating.

Now I have stopped using biocanna nutes and added just soil ammendments. Rich at flowering nutes.
Namely some bloom mix, bit of neem, rockdust, mycoboost and some frass..

Watered down by 2l of 6,4pHed water and runoff was like 6,5-6,6 -> seems good to me.

Devil seems to produce nicely, better then grow before, as to be expected....

I somehow missed the opportunity to make photos today.
Yet there was another amendment of soil, watering habbits were slowed down to 600ml of water but in shorter interval it seems :)
I also did get rid of all litlle flies, so just as preventive measure. I have apllied some conditioner „cannacure“ :D
Devil is connecting the buds to one major cluster, so it seems there will be perfect photos.


Only thing is, Iam scratching my head right now, my pollination got litlle bit over target :D
It seems there will be more of seeds then planned... And that happen to me in 1/6 seed jobs :D
But it is okay for me :) (next time, I need to turn off that fan completely :D

As Iam more of a grower then smoker, not saying Iam not smoking.... :D
There will still be plenty of pretty smoke material :)

So I will shot something tommorow..

Oh and Devil is starting to smell like some kind of fruit ! :)
 
-If I count right, the 4th week flowering just started-

As I promised, I have made some pics.

The smells are something like -just-between-afghani-and-skunk- plus some fruits in it in good doses... Cannot pinpoint the fruit part - some kind of berries it is.
(Not pungent, you have to get close)
(and as I said earlier about males, the male stem rub was fruity too, yet it was more into tuty fruty, more sweeter, if you know what I mean, maybe it will come to that point too)

Stretching phase is definitely behind.
Iam keeping my eyes on leaf colors, on weekend there will be some liquid-organic nutes bath, with some N added.

I have another update... Devil is making sure to give me something more then just seeds ;)

The size of bud will be interesting, yesterday I have yet again amended the soil using wormcastings, bloom2 mix, barley and some myco...
The best thing is how the smells have evolved, the fruity tones, plus some chocolate-hash like smells ! Not overpowered, but pleasant.

Everything seems good, only I could have done more nitrogen...

Start of week 5

Today I gave some water nutrients as fast support for quick development of plants. Casuse they are breaking buds size quickly - so they dont run out of juice.
Also leafs are showing some kind of deficiencies, I dont know why I cannot handle this stage, I even prolongued the N intake far to flower.

On the other hand smells of Devil are unbelievable !!
It is choco-hash plant with bit of fruity skunk in it.

Quick gaining some sugar coat also!!
