Nev was doing some research into this, not sure if he got very far as he's obviously been rather busy lately.

what happend to interplom, interpolm special and especially the lambsbreath which to my knowledge was the only strain with a well documented sativa setup light schedule ?

You mean the growshop opposite Centraal Station?

It's been closed for years, it's been the Dampkring/Kiwi Seeds Growshop for 5-6 years.

nope

i meant the most expansive strain in holland from the mid 90s

page 7 : http://www.hemptimes.ch/hemptimes/archiv/THB_04.pdf

its only an advert, but you see the price, which is even 50 SF / 50 DM / 50 Gulden cheaper than it was a few years prior when it came out

to me its intresting in that way, bc it is/was so rare even back then and also bc you couldnt find informations about it, it came out from the nowhere, ok not really nowhere .. you could find it in those seed sellers catalogs, and everybody was curious what that might be ... today thats nothing uncommon, part of the hype - game , but back then (when nobody could imagine where "inet-mj-community" would go) there was no need for hypes, there was the american pay cup, and the real highlife cup and ads in magz like 20 years prior, it was still a small niche for freak individuals, compared to today

read about viking and top 44 in this thread and then it popped into my mind, as that were those times

google is a bitch, and thats ^^ the only 1 it finds with the search term "interpolm special" ...

as far as my memory serves me right, there were 2 versions, the normal and the special version, ppl were suspicious and when they had to pay expansive strains, they went for something they knew, in those times it was jack herrer

the ad is from growi seeds, i wouldnt bet, but i think originali it wasnt from growi either...

we all know jamaican .... but .. but .. the lambsbreath stood out in its description like the interpolm special in its price, and they both were in the same "handout" seed catalog, thats why i mentioned both

a real shame what we lost on infos in those short 15 years (compared to infos on haze) lol

Greetings MNS crew, i got a q?

I can definitely say that Raco's info and scans are true, that advertisement was in Cañamo magazine, in the first and/or the second issue, that was between july and october 1997, I still have them and will scan them when i can. The pics were repeated in subsequent GH ads but the strain names were not. And in spring '98 Shanti was interviewed in Cañamo as well, and he spoke about the GH strains like shark and so.

I have the impression that those Cytral, Snow White, Whyte Wings, Merry Crystal... were renamed to become the 'white family', and I am sure many strains have been renamed over the years, y'know guys, people will buy things twice if you give them different names...:D

Regarding Silver Pearl, it's strange, it disappeared from the sensi catalog some years ago. It wasn't highly regarded, afaik, and i read somewhere that sensi lost the parents.
