Not really, nothing outside the work shanti and nev did under their banner interests me about GHS. Raco posted the old mid 90s catalogue pic to show that they had used the same pic to advertice white wyng in the mid 90s as they were using in their then-current catalogue so it's all BS anyways.

Kash - Whyte wing

I would be interested to hear more about white wyng...if it really existed.
Could you ask Raco his picture from that cat.?

Peace.

K.

Here's what Raco says :
Raco
secretion engineer

"...I´ve found the ad.....CAÑAMO magazine,first issues,this was 1998.I´ll post pics when I can
It reads (aprox):
Original Breeders of:
White Widow
White Rhino
Whyte Wing (the pic reads "White Wing")
Snow White (the pic reads "Snow Whyte)
White Butter...... "

So if anyone has that then there ya go, couldnt find a pic though sorry

Hi dbud1369,

Thank you but I do not consider Raco as a trustable source.
I would have prefered to see a picture.

When I posted the Positronics catalog from 1996 on OG which showed there was no Original Haze there during these days, Raco was furious. The only thing he could find was to post that T.Hill bought them under the counter and that is why I hadn't seen them.

From 1992 to 96 I was at least once a month in their growshop/coffieshop.
I never saw Original Haze seeds for sale there.
Just a 10 weeks Haze...

I am still waiting that someone show me a Posi cat. with Original Haze.
Then maybe I will be able to believe it.

Peace.

Thank you Joaquin386...

but those are Arjan's bullshits.

What is the publication date of this cat.?

GHSco never offered white wing as seeds at least not before 1999.

Peace.

K.

Probably the strains in that advert we haven't heard of such as Snow White, Whyte Wing, White Butterfly, Merry Crystal, Crystal Glow, Silver Shiva and Cytral are all strains Arjan simply bought in bulk from various producers (Ingemar?) after Shanti left. Shanti did leave after the 98 HTCC which is in November but I expect he had told Arjan well before that he was leaving so if that magazine is from late 98, I suppose it makes sense.

Or maybe Arjan added some made-up strain names to the ad to make his then only 3 year old company look better and never sold seeds with those names?

Joaquin, is that two different magazines in the picture you posted? The bottom one w/ El Nino and Him Gold couldn't be from 1998, because it lists awards from 2000 HTC in the strain bios.

I am sure those were not offered as seeds by GHSco. before 1999.

On the other hand I remember Cristallica and Citral which were sold as finished products only at the Greenhouse Coffieshops...

They were the results of beta work done at GHSco. by Shanti.

Hope this helps.

Peace.

It's two magazines, the top one is 1998, the bottom one a decade later, notice how the pic for Snow White in 98 is the same as they used for El Nino in the later ad.

You really can't trust a word GHS says.

Hi Bat,

I used to know Corrie and Yap in the mid to late 90s.

I was sleeping in the reserve/kitchen room just above their coffie-shop when in town.

I do not think Cristallica and Citral seeds have been offered there...one more time at least not before 2000.

Peace.

hello kashrocks, you must be an old stoner my fellow :)
maybe i confused with an other seedbank but im pretty sure before 2000 i went to the Dam in the batboat with robin ( you know its easier to find a place to park than with the batcar ;) i give you the trick but dont tell to everybody...mkay ?) and we stoped to a coffeeshop named the dolphin, i remember to have taken a seeds catalog at the bar and it was homegrownfantaseeds, there was a comic in the end explaning how to make canna butter and space cake. good coffeeshop at this time..maybe my memory makes fun of me i dont know you know with all the vapor bat i inhale...:o

Well the "comics in the end explaning how to make canna butter and space cake" is definitively a Homegrown Fantaseeds catalog...

But the Citral I smoked at Greenhouse was offered there around 1996.
The Cristallica came only a bit later.

The weed was still good at that time in Amsterdam...

Peace.

Citral was a Positronics strain, a Pakistani from the Chitral region supposedly, it was in the Positronics catalogue and they had a clone of it in their library too. I grew the Citral from seed, it was one of the strains I bought when I visited the Posi shop, they had a buy two, get one free deal, I got Citral, Mango and picked Viking for the freebie, did the first two indoors, both were great, the Viking went outdoors, got stolen.

HGF did have Citral in their early catalogues as their stuff was all taken from the old Posi stuff.

This is a Pakistan variety crossbred with a Skunk. Gives a spicy taste and an always surprising high. A firm favorite among connoisseurs. Perfect for home made hash.

* Flowering time: 8 wks (nice buds)

Sounds to me like they just took the old Posi Citral clone and hit it with a Skunk male. A few seed cos started by offering their versions of the old Posi classics.

I don't remember Crystallica, I never bought much bud in Amsterdam, never saw the point when they had so much good hash to enjoy and the bud was never that good.
