Cannatrol Cure Cool System

I just finished the 8 day dry/cure on Monday of the Shantiseeds AmnesiaxG13, threw into a mason jar w/62 Boveda and put some popcorn buds in a jar and headed out of town.
Sampled with friends and family and attest to 2 bong hit weed strength, with the bud being totally smooth, sticky and extremely tasty.
P.S. If you have any friends who enjoy gardening, you can dry/cure theirs when/if your unit is empty, for a rental fee...

Mine should be here by beginning of next week.
Just in time for my next harvest.
Im really looking forward to the results.
 
If it was before the pandemic I would have it by end of today.
It’s 30 miles away sitting until Monday.
Road trip.
I may go pick it up in person.

They had the package but it was locked up in a trailer until the trucks come back in for loading and delivery.
No big deal.
Monday is right around the corner and harvest isn’t ready yet.
I tried calling before driving but it’s all automated and not actual location.

I see that you have used your cool cure by hanging your plants dry for 24 hours and then put in the cool cure?
Have you tried fresh off the plants?

I reread through the FAQ and they recommend drying for one day so I think I will start with presets and recommendations.
Should be before the week ends they will be in the device.
 
Before I purchased, I read every article, video on the website, blogs, etc. and found everything that they have on their website is 100% true.
I hang my plant for one day and remove all the fan leaves. Then the next day I start trimming The buds and hang on the branch until it’s time to put in the machine, so I do 24-36 hrs hen machine.
I’m still astounded on the quality after eight days. The denseness, stickiness, crystalline, taste and effect is superior to my pre-Cannatrol, as well as the dispensary weed I just bought out in Kingman, Az on vacation.
 
Gonna b testing the limits this week with a multi harvest(7) to include 2 outdoor large plants. My max wet so far totalled 24oz and is finishing its cycle Thursday. Expecting a dry total of 6+. 1st time I had to empty the water tray 2x.
Plan is to Cannacure just bud tops and hang dry+ 🫙 burping the rest, so let’s see how that goes.
 
I put 825-850grams of wet in mine and today it’s starting the cure cycle.

The flowers remain in very good shape.The trichomes look so untouched and handled.Smell does creep around the next room but fades as the process continues.
I think they could be left on one side though the whole process.Maybe unstick the stuck ones loose of the bottom of the tray but I didn’t see any more dents after the first turn so I left them alone.

What I like about the device is I think other than the trimming they can remain untouched until storage.The elimination of many variables during the dry and cure allows me to try different things.
I can try different lengths of flushing,water curing,flower washing, and know that any big changes aren’t from the drying process.
I’ll know more in about 4-5 days about the overall process and quality.

My current cycle finishing in 25 hrs is holding’only’ 685g.
Doing my rough trim today, as you know, it’s a long event 💨💨💨

I put everything from all three of the smaller plants in. I had room for more but weight limit will be the controlling value.

I left a few branches on and a few leaves on my first tray and I knew there was no way I could get the rest of the flowers on the trays unless I trimmed each flower separately .
I think it took me about 2-3 hours to trim up the 3 small plants.They had a low leaf to flower ratio still placing flowers on the shelves takes time.
However trimming is basically done.

I have to figure out how I will dry my usual amount of harvest.Its just not big enough.
 
I noticed after the first 24 hours most of the moisture felt like it was gone and it felt like it was removed very evenly from the flowers.

Now that the device has about 30 hours left of curing I’m starting to see some slight shrinkage.
Also the slope setting transitions the dew point back up from 52 to 54 F over a 2 day period, which raises the humidity level.
The cure cycle seems more like part of the dry cycle than curing and since long term storage is standby mode I don’t know why they even call it cure cycle.
One more day and it’s hammer time.
 
Just finished a 8 day cycle for Mohan Ram, A13, Walkabout and MKS.
Great uniform bud density, stickiness, aroma, taste and effect. A13 my fav.
I still like to let it cure further in 🫙’s for 30+ days, but the immediate product is excellent.
I’m starting to track wet weight vs dry results to see how much % is retained.
Longball mentioned he expects end result to be in the 25%+ range.
My prior run retained 27%.
This one ranged from 35%(Indica Mohan Ram)-58%(Sativa Walkabout).
What does this mean and how to use it???

I’ll be storing my results in the device by using the bags they included.
I think ordinary brown paper bags will work also.
When it’s time to dry another harvest I will have to transfer stored in device to jars.
I’ll try comparing storage in device to jars to compare long term storage/curing.

Won’t be long until I taste the results.
I have cracked a few branches and now they are snapping.Flowers are dry but still spongy and gooey in the middle.
The aroma comes and goes but has definitely improved since day 1.
