Fun Fact: Cindy Blackman, bad ass drummer, is also Cindy Blackman Santana, Carlos Santana's wife. She has earned a reputation as one of the most influential drummers of modern times, and is renowned for her technical skill and creativity. She is an accomplished jazz, rock, and funk drummer who has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Lenny Kravitz, The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Vernon Reid, Kirk Hammett, Phish, and Carlos Santana. She studied at Berklee College of Music. Her professional career began in the late 1980s, performing with jazz legends such as Jack DeJohnette, Pharaoh Sanders, Stanley Clarke, and Herbie Hancock.
Fun Fact: Australian bassist Tal Wilkenfeld looks like a teenager in this video but she is 36 years old(sorry Tal). She toured with Jeff Beck for many years(2007 til his passing) and has literally performed and recorded with a Who's Who of musical All Stars including with Ringo Starr, Brian Wilson, Toto, Todd Rundgren, Macy Gray, Dr. John, Trevor Rabin, Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh, Rod Stewart, John Mayer, Sting, Ben Harper, David Gilmour, Pharrell, Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons, Lee Ritenour, Hiram Bullock, Susan Tedeschi, Hans Zimmer, Carlos Santana, Allman Brothers Band, Prince, Incubus, Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock, Mick Jagger, Chick Corea, Joss Stone, Wayne Shorter, Gov't Mule, Robben Ford, Ivan Neville, Jimmy Page, Steven Tyler, Ryan Adams, Bob Weir, Keith Urban, and many others. Tal is very much in demand as both a performer and session musician.
