Bonsai challenge?

Hey guys, I will read other topics later. And I also have a lot to share. But in short, I cloned my females and decided to go on waterculture again (lol). Better to take my time and yield good than to rush and waste resources on little.

However I am training a Pink Floyd into bonsai. It's not in shape yet and she is been putten to the test as you can see ☺ BUT I am confident she will recover. The lower branches will be placed into the soil over the rock when they are long enough. It will create a root effect. I will probably end up with 3 a 4 branches growing flower.

Edit: I have also a Mango Haze CBD in training which I will have more time for. That will be most likely my entree for 2024. She is a stunning sativa looking padawan so far. This current Pink Floyd is female and rushed as I want it to be ready around october. But we are still learning and it is our first try. Loving it so far.

Nice aesthetic!

Love the Bonssai Idea, i have been walking thru a supermarket lately and seen a Bonsai Magazine, stopped for a moment to take a glance.
I think the issue with small containers can be easily dealt with either with a Blumat carrot or a wicking system of any kind.
I have a variety going atm (the only one) that has proven to well trainable with sexy triangular alternating zig zag nodes that would be suitable- and she is.a drinker once she gets bigger.
Not planning on flowering her any soon as i lost the mother and saved exactly 1 clone that get trained right now to be the next mofher.
She is fairly small right now, pot is probably around 5l, keepibg her small and slow under the worst blurple ever so she wont outgrow me any soon, in fact just keeping her healthy, build structure and have her in check when the bigger tebts come back into play to have her around and ready. Bonsai motger woukd be cool as long as you dont expect me ro flower her im in to do the challenge.

She had a mean split due to improper handling but healed well after 2wks of recover.

Whole plant pics 2 big for upload...taken at the same.time...nevermind

Still no wire and shitty quality pic but the Coco/TP mix i transplated her today is quality for the roots and shoots.

Went from smaller plastic pot up to +-10l fabric, will keep training her for fun. She looks like a reveg right now but i think she just didnt like the rock hard soilmix i had her in and she sure hates the pink light. Fan also died weeks ago and i havent repaired yet, for the circumstances shes fine and also very nice structure. Few weeks and she will be a real treat.

How is this project going? It really is a great idea. Hey @DannyTwoJoints did you eat that banana? lol

Guys, my apologies for tardy replies and lack of updates. @Mr. Brown that shit was small but tasty - I've got another mixed bucket of shit, Critical & master kush skunk on the go. Hoping to finish by end of month (replying here as I've lost the thread where you were asking!)

@musashi banana long gone, but the master midget prevails! I left her in a window sill & nature took its course and she is flowering. Abroad at the moment. Photos asap.
