Are SSH, Jack Herer and Diesel the same thing?

Some of us have already gone that route. I didn't send my label back, but offered to do it along with the nonviable seeds. They told me in a round about way to go fuck myself, and that's not an exageration. If a person is in the States, it's well established that they won't cooperate or help if there's a problem with their beans.

I bought some Hindu Kush from the Sensi shop in the dam a few years ago and they produced super hermies on me, 5o-50 male female flowers on some plants.

Next time I went back to the dam, I went into the shop, told my story and more or less got the same response as you, so it's not the fact your across the pond, it's just their attitude these days.

I wouldn't grow their stuff if it was given to me for free now.

Peace, GG

Right, I'm tripping, but I'll see if I can handle this.
If you buy something from the shop and it's defective, then you go back to the shop and ask for your money back. That's who you gave the money to. If the shop won't help, then you are foolish if you give them more money in the future.
The manufacturer is always responsible for their product, no matter who you bought it from. They are not responsible for the money you paid, because they didn't get it all, but they should replace the product. If they won't, then they have no integrity and you are foolish to buy their products again.
Ask Sensi, what guarantees come with the brand Sensi. The answer will tell you who you are dealing with. Tell them that you'll be happy to post their response on the various forums, either way.
I feel like I'm explaining the 2 times tables or something equally simple. As I said, I'm tripping. It's been a while since I've had mushrooms.

That was perfectly lucid Nev and you explained it very well, I agree wholeheartedly. Enjoy your trip mate!

IMHO this is what separates MNS from other seed companies
1) Superior Genetic Pedigrees
2) The BEST Customer Service
3) Unparalleled Grow Reports detailed excessively from ACTUAL growers and not merely the MNS company

Much love to all!

I order one time from TFD for about 100E and NEVER got the product (ordered directly from them). They say they send it a second time, but it didn't arrive also.

I posted on their ICMAG forum what happend to me and complain a lot for people to see what kind of ppl they where (now Sensi brand). But sadly they dont have any moderators and also ICMAG stuff didn't help since they close the post (cause not bought on Bay/Boutique).

I ask them for a reimbursement (they decline) so I open a complain with the European Cosumer Affairs, Spanish Consumer Affairs and Nederlands Consumer Affair. I dont know who manage to solve my problem but they gave me back the money.

So I won as a consumer, and without any doubt I will NEVER order from them again.

sometimes it is not always the breeder at fault. my last (and final) order of sensi seed product was actually through a brit vendor known as the attitude. got a zero for 10 germ rate on a pack of sensi's mothers finest and since i also belonged to the sensi seed forum and they recognized me as a good customer, it appeared they were going to help. it was the attitude seed bank that refused to assist citing their disclaimer "do not contact us on germination issues. germination of these seeds is against the law" and this was in spite of the fact i had ordered $2000 in gear from them in the previous 8 months. wtf? all one can say is that this vendor was not that concerned in keeping me as a customer. there was a time when i used to acquire a lot of seed from many places. i still go through a fair amount of seed but my choices are very limited in both breeders and vendors, and in fact they are most likely those who wear both caps. peace-biteme

i have said this a million times to people uk seeds suppliers wont replace seeds for bad germination as shit as that is. but they must replace damaged seeds. so next time you get a bad batch just tell them the seeds you got were all cracked and damaged. if they don't replace them do as joaquin386 done and go to consumer rights. you will get your money back and attitude would have a lot of people breathing down the necks they don't want as a business. if everyone done this who complained to used the rights you can bet no one would be having problems getting replacement. because consumer right have the right to shut them down for selling faulty product's and take them for a lot more then a few packets of seeds.;)

HI Nevil,

In BOLD, yes its true ... but for some products its wrong attitude, like seed business.

Some shops cant sell batch of 2000 seeds for year or so, cause price, company reputation or ...
Than that manufacturer can not guarantee for germination.
Some shops do not storage sdeeds praperly and they selling seeds repacked.

Why Sensi or MNS or any one else should guarantee for repacked seeds ?

Who can guarantee it isnt 5 orig seeds and 5 F2 seeds in pack of 10 seeds ?
Its all original seeds just cause retailer say so ?
I believe its all orig seeds if it comes in orig pack and manufacturer say so, also he guarantee for it.

If its in orig pack, manufacturer must guarantee and be responsible for genetics (hermies, mutations, diploids etc etc).

Why LG need to guarantee for my LCD if its opened by me or my friend ? .... there is authorized service who ONLY can open LCD TV and LG will guarantee if its they fault in manufacturing.

if the packets are opened and re packed i believe the responsibility fall's on the seller. for example say you buy 3 super silver haze from pickandmix or attitude they come in a little clipper bag. they are responsible for the product they provide not the manufacture as the seed's them self are only part of the product and the packaging is another. that's why a lot of these company's say we don't guarantee germination. they are still accountable for the quality of the product they sell if the clipper bag or a seed is damaged or you just don't want it because you dont feel it's not that you thought it was meant to be. you have the right to return in within so Meany day's no mater what by UK law and that's were most of these company's are based. contact consumer right and they will sort it all for you. fancy wording and stuff cant effect your consumer right it law simple. even big company's have to abide by them no mater how much they try to make you think otherwise by placing disclaimer's on packet ect. they will sort you and do a better job dealing with bad company's then you can. you cant legally sell shit as gold no mater who you are because consumers have right. if you tried and were found out you would lose you assets and get a nice prison sentence and a ban from opening any other company in the UK for x amount of years. there's a saying you can only fool a fool. don't be a fool be a consumer you have rights no mater what.;):)

Did the seeds come with a sensi label? Then they should be responsible for their product.

If the seeds came with ORIGINAL packaging Then the manufacturer is responsible.

Yes, most similar laws exist in many if not all EU countries and I believe USA.

Just if you have repacked seeds and have complain its pretty difficult proving which fault it is (reseller or manufacturer).
Reseller can send you whatever he want (F2) and claim its orig.Than consumer comes to an forum and bashing manufacturer. What directly ruins manufacturer reputation but without their fault.

All companies can sell seeds in simple zip bag, but they use mod's package to protect originality and its product.
MNS, Sensi, Serious etc have own packages and there is good reason why they have it.

Couple co. have "serial numbers" of batches and exactly know from where it comes at least how much seeds are old and from which batch it comes.
So if retailer sellling 2 years old seeds its not manufacturer problem nor if they selling repacked seeds.

Pick & Mix are one big joke in serious business.
It starts with market flooding of females, now they use same system for regular seeds.
" I have 3 seeds of -an company- and all 3 are males" .... is that complain ?

Buy orig pack and you have right to complain if its not good & law says you are right.

If the seeds came with ORIGINAL packaging Then the manufacturer is responsible.

bang on the mark Nevil. BlizzOut you cant complain about male female% there only selling cannabis seeds if there regular not fems. it's just bad luck mate getting all males. i got all male in a shit load of seedsman seeds from pickandmix last year but all the others brands seemed fine. now can we get this thread back to are SSH Jack Herer and Diesel the same? whoever packed the seeds is responsible for whats inside. if they say otherwise contact trading standard. end off.

Nevil i have grow jack outdoor here in the UK so if there the same dose that mean i can finish ssh outdoor as well with a bit of selection of course? i just asking because i have no intention of buying jack again from sensi but it was the best outdoor haze i have had finish here in the UK.

hi all

interesting discussion on replacement of seeds but I dissagree with some of you on some things

As far as I m concearned from a seed buyer point of view first I think its the manufacturer's responsibility to at least provide customers a list with authorized resellers , just like MNS does..This solves LOTS of probs down the line!Having authorized resellers means that the manufacturer trusts , works closely with and reccomends certain resellers to its customers to buy the products from..and this way it can be ensured always fresh stock is sold (stock is tracked) as well as there will be a proper replacement policy in place for the customer if needed.

The problem with living stock such as seed is that after it leaves from the manufacturer lots of thing can happen (during transport / bad or long term storage etc) and many times the problems (ie seeds not germinating) are not due to the manufacturer's fault. So if the seed making company knows that the reseller is trustworthy (has good customer service / ensures quality seed storage etc) and willing to cooperate for a replacement policy then I think there will be less problems and more satisfied customers.Last but not least it will be easier to find the source of the problem.

Now like with many other products on the market its not always the 'responsibility' of the manufacturer to directly replace the place a 'defective' product.
Many shops make product replacement on behalf of the customer/s. And this to be honest , at least in the case of seeds , makes more sense to me..

Afterall the customer did not buy directly from the manufacturer (so why now deal directly with the manufacturer ?)..but bought the seeds from a retail shop instead which also has responsibility for selling non-defective products , selling products in good condition or at least get involved in a replacement policy to ensure the customer gets what he paid for..and from the shop he originally made the purchace from.
Like with buying milk for example , if one buys some and its gone bad/sour the customer would normally ask first for a replacement from the store he bought it..not send it to the manufacturer. Afterall such products have an expiry date so to say and are 'fragile' and can go bad if the retailer doesn't store and handle them properly with care. So in the case of milk or seeds part of the responsibility is with the reseller is what I think..They were the ones that handled the product last. For all these reasons the reseller should be the first to be contacted for a replacement.

So best thing one can do before buying is to find out if the reseller (and then also the manufacturer)has a replacement policy. If its clear at the time of purchace there is no such policy from the shop or manufacturer, dont buy if you dont agree with their terms! So ask before buying, its your responsibility. Also another responsibility of the customer is to retain evidence of the purchace and keep the original seed packet and if the product needs to be replaced he must have this evidence to prove its a genuine complaint.

mr. l33t, all of my ducks were in a row yet i still was stiffed. the gear i bought came in the sensiseeds sealed green card with the smiling gal on it and no question the attitude seed bank is an authorized distributor for sensiseeds. sensi asked that the attitude only verify my purchase and sensi would replace the pack for me but the attitude refused to assist citing the disclaimer on germination. this all happened over a year ago now so i have had some time to think on it. the forums are rife with complaints about sensiseed products. wtf? only a few short years ago, this would NEVER happen. breeders of sensi stature routinely switched out old stock with vendors but no more. so now i am thinking that i am not the first mook who was victim of this gag, more likely sensi and the attitude have played it out many times before and so i hold both forever accountable. neither shall ever have any future business from me or those i am able to point in other directions. peace-biteme

The guy that I know that brings in seed directly from sensi for resale says that their official policy is that he needs to see the original packaging from the end user and he is reimbursed 100%. I have taken him up on this on two occasions and no issue even with quite expensive seeds so my guess is that this is sensi's official policy at least for resellers.

did you not get a reseat with your order details i have only used attitude once but i got one with the seeds when they come through the post? surely that proves you get them there?

of course there was a receipt for the purchases and i usually run a printout so i can stare at it awhile more. the whole problem came down to the attitude refusing to get involved. sensiseeds at least acted like they were willing to reimburse the attitude for another pack of mothers finest but the attitude refused to get involved citing their disclaimer on germination issues. end of story.

since this event i have had time to think it through and find both breeder and vendor equally accountable. imho, sensiseeds and the attitude are holding each other's prick and screw the bean buyer who once was a good client for both of them? maybe makes sense to these type of binnesmen? and it's ok too cause i have also decided i do not have the time to learn what may come from some replacement pack, should they germ? peace-biteme

ok got you so sensi wouldn't take the receipt from attitude unless they could send the seeds through attitude as a middle man type thing? they wouldn't just send the seed's to you as the buyer i am sure sensie cant do that if like nevil said they come in original sensi packs. however if they come as pick and mix seeds then its attitude at fault as sensi is only part of the product once they re pack them then any refunds fall on them. trading standards would of sorted you out with a refund with the documentation you had as it was enough to prove you made a dodgy purchase from them and they wouldn't refund if they weren't pick and mix. i would of give trading standard my full order back and see how attitude or sensi like giving me a full refund on a large order and having trading standards pocking there noses in there business. i bet they wouldn't think twice about refunding the next person to complain.

Once the packet is opened, there is no guarantee that the seeds are Sensi's. Why should they take responsibility?
