Are SSH, Jack Herer and Diesel the same thing?

The owner of a seed co. in Amsterdam in the '90s was the first person I knew of who was using the name Diesel and THAT plant was NL5HzCxSK1HzC. What people have been calling Diesel since then, I don't know anything about. If you want to know who that was, do your homework.

"diesel aka chemdawg" It's your assumption that Chemdawg is Diesel, not mine.

People lie about ancestries re-name plants and steal names and you want me to account for this?
I don't think that I could have been clearer about what I believe. If it doesn't coincide with what others are saying, maybe we are talking about different plants/lines, but I know what I know and you can choose to believe what you want.

My guess is that some one with a vested interest (not me) is upset that their version of events (usually a lie to support their inflated ego's) is contradicted by my statements. I have no idea who and I don't care.

I have worked with this cutting extensively. I have passed on to SB the genetics and information I had on how to get the most out of this line. My bet is that what he has given you will shit all over anyone elses work. Be your own judge.

well it seems im the firs to get ruffed up by you ,atleast from wat ive seen

idont know why you seem bothered

is it becaz i said your info was diff from shanti's?

i wish to show nothing but respect to you and the rest of the mns family

i can say i like to know everything ,some people dont like like to tell everything this isnt somthing ive seen from you so far

i havnt said i stated fact and wen speaking about the deez i hav used the term IME ,i always try to do my home work and im not always correct and wen im excited especially i somtimes jump off edge and might put out somthin not exact

but i dont see wat i said wrong

The owner of a seed co. in Amsterdam in the '90s was the first person I knew of who was using the name Diesel

interesting soo it seems your clone only A5 you gifted to friends was not named by you ,as its reported to be 2 pheno's of A5 that you passed out in s.holland mango/diesel ,i guess the A5 diesel pheno was renamed by somone who aquired her ,as i thought this to be the first ever

.

ive smoked deez for a long time i rather smoke haze , id rather find the frankincense pheno of your NH or run my pk of your 1988 g13/HP

also you say early 90's do you hav a specific year

anyhow my info comes from the endless tales of the origins ,nothin more ,but interestingly chemdog who i believe popped the seeds and found the chem line is on thc farm and hasnt contested this story or the chemdawg being brought to nyc being renamed diesel

also the diesel im familiar wit that is now of fame comes from a 91 cutting ,soo it doesnt even seem possible to be from the stock you speak of

id lov to hear your thoughts

If the original cup winner was NL5xhazeC/skunkxhazeC and MNS sells NL5xhazeC/skunkxhazeC seeds then who is selling the real deal?

The area for improvement was not the NL5xHz mother, SB already has cuttings of the best ever produced. The improvement would be in the SKxHz father. Later Skunk versions that were crossed with the Haze were far superior to the Skunk Hazes of the '80s.

As I have said before, inbreeding Haze especially to the same Haze ancestor leads to a greater incidence of the cat piss pheno. The Diesel or fuel like smells are an intermediate stage. NH also has more fuel type offspring than the 5Hz, but not as many as a plant inbred to HzC. NL5HzA had darker flavours than NL5HzC, but I wouldn't call it diesel.

interesting post Nevil

Was wondering did you ever get to try NL5HzA x HzA or NL5HzC x HzA when the Haze A male was still around?

I'm a Bonehead! :/

First time I puffed sour diesel was in 99 in Philly with some dudes who possibly did have relations with Sensi.??? One dude in that circle had the stinkyest hash plant I EVER smelled (the first generations of SuperSkunk where shadowed by this stench) so maybe he was "connected?" I have smelled tens of thousands of plants. Lucky me ;)

They had 2 phenos at the time I met them so they probably were experimenting with different males to Nevil's JH mom.? Grape diesel was one it was tasty but weak IMO the other one, "the diesel" was outstanding!! Made my eyes bounce. They had a real sweet Sk x Haze too in addition to an amazing JH and SSH. They also had an INCREDIBLE great white shark too. I'm remembering all of this as I write it and I think these dudes DEFINITELY knew someone dutch. Huh. Crap!,I should have asked them for cuts. :/

HzA was lost by a staff member, who didn't make cuttings before using the HzA males. It's a mistake we all regret.

I have found this to be true. I look forward, Nev, to your chains being broken and you and Shanti doing some joint projects. He has been pumping out the new hybrids and some really great things have been discovered already. People haven't had to chance to really get deep into most of the newer ones so I imagine some great things will soon be seen.

I think when creating it can be really beneficial to add a partner from time to time, it opens up doors in the heads of all the contributors, if it is a good combo of people with like goals. From the way you both write it would seem like you guys could work well together.

I hope you guys get to do some things soon. I am hoping another "world of weed" changing discovery is, again, made.

By the way, fuck the douche bags.

hi Dr Purpur

I used to hate the catpiss flavor in the beginning when I first had plants that had it but now I do enjoy it..

TH stand for Tom Hill?

DR purpur

it seems tom hillhaze is most definetly worth giving a run

as ive told you money mike has reported a sandlewood aroma n ive ben told musky n spice are to be found aswell ,from my friend who has also said this is the real haze taste from 91/92 posi haze

while im not sure of frankincense trait ,this line seems to be one of the only pure haze line left

call me crazy but catpiss and incense is somthing i lov to hav in my jar

.

I will Be running Toms Seeds along with the several other Hazes Ive selected, but I wont be using any Males. If I find a Sandalwood Female I will use Her.

hi bigherb

I can understand Nevs and Dr Purpur's concerns about TH pure haze line but yeah , I think its the only pure Haze left in the market (apart from Sam's own Original Haze which I 'm not sure if available anywhere in the market atm) and so if Nev is looking for a pure Haze that can be traced back to the real thing to cross to his NH it may be the best option..if not the only option.

It doesn't have anything to do with hazeA or hazeC males and the taste and aroma descriptions are interesting to say the least , metallic / herbal /citrus . Many good reports out there though I can't comment on it much myself as I haven't grown any of Toms seed yet.

Since Nev will have to go through a lot of different lines till he finds the one for the new haze crossing I 'm sure he will go through a lot of stuff of questionable quality before settling..how hard can it be to squeeze a few dozen TH hazes in that large selection..Im saying there is nothing to lose to try..afterall lots of space and several months will be needed for growing and selecting..and if you can't have space and time to try this line which has enough positive reports and is close to what Nev was originally looking for..how can you devote resources for seeds/lines that are less known and of even more questionable quality and origin..
just thinking out loud here really..

sup unc

much love i appreciate the honesty

you speak from the heartand i can feel you ,much agreed

im not sure to wat extent are the taste/aromas he listed to us ,i dont really see how only 3 could be listed ,maybe its caz like more details as always anyhow

since the latest release from reports it seems surely the taste/aromas are more indepth then his reported 3 ,im sure you recall the exact convo which he said he wasnt familiar wit the incense trait and i should look for somthin wit the hazeA male ,well i found it very interesting to hear chocolate and sandlewood reported and it seems other darker haze tones are present aswell

im far from experienced but IMO its purity is very clear in the growth structure of som plants such as hazy lady pheno's for example

i truly do hope neville gives TH line a run, also i very much liked the strains he recently spoke of i had suggested at one point ,Cred/Cgold/Cblack/ and possibly som african maybe cambo and that old leather thai would be somthin

id love too see the haze C to TH line maybe our dream of a mns pure haze can come true

I have a "pre-98' BubbaKush." I never saw this plant until 06-07'. Because it is called 91' Chemdawg is that proof it was "made" in 91' NO. IMO :)_~ KB

Nice post Kyle, it never ceases to amaze me how easily the masses can be mislead, without questioning anything they read on these kinds of subjects.

You dont have a bridge I can buy in San Francisco by any chance do you? ;)
