The weather is more still ,, not much wind ,, and the plants are loving it ,, more pics to follow in a week or so ...

Nice plants, nice plot, nice thread!

Good work Donald.

I look forward to the update pictures and the end outcome.

PS-blimey Slayer! What was Moonunit feeding that Sweetfuel? That's a monster bud!

Hi Donald Mallard,

Nice to see another Aussie outside grower, just love your red basalt soil.

If you mulch your patches with that bush tabacco & lantana etc.. It would save you a lot of weeding.

Interestring strains you have, I grown C99 & Ducksfoot before, that Zoidfuel sounds like an interesting strain.

Fuck that leech in the eye.
It happend to a m8, he thought that he got some dirt in his eye working under his car ...the next morning at breaky his eye was very puffy; when all of a sudden this big leech the size of a mans thumb slomped out ouf his eye & fell in his cup of tea his Kids screemed & his Mrs almost fainted.

Anyway Ill be around to enjoy your grow.

Respect
BP

hi redeye , thanks man , feel free to drop b y as it progresses ..

hi bushpig ... yea gotta love the basalt soils , im happy if the plants are happy hehehe ,,

on the mulching ,, its just too overloaded with weed seed nowdays , should be covering the whole area with hessian , but just cant be bothered carrying it out there .. i put as much lantana sticks and tobacco leaf as i can , its very helpful as you say ,,makes great mulch ..

thanks for coming by man , should have some new pics u p fairly soon ,,

heres an update , ive managed to do some weeding at last ,, hope you notice .. lol ..
weather has b een pretty shit really , still suffering from south easterlys , hopefully that will improve ...

managed to pull out a few ladies from the patch down the bottom , probably close to a pound ,, ill rip out whats ready and replace asap to get the most from it ..

this is the bottom patch ..

Looking very,very nice mate.
Did you do any crossing or are you just doing test grows ??

hi kanga and thanks ...
Most of the seed grown was made by moonunit , its the bulk of the crop this round ..
I always put a few of my own crosses in , theres a couple i just cant resist running each year ...
i havent done any selection or seed runs for a few years , but still have some clones and seed stored should the need arise ...
Figured the area i have is best suited to test growing for now , i can make fairly good assessments from the numbers run there , its not really enough , but legality being what it is ,, its all im game to run at the moment ...
have a bunch of places suited awaiting a green light , hehehe

heres a shot of the middle patch ,, downwards shot ,, note the weeding ,, lol ...,

Lol....Yep that sounds about right for a breeder " Never enough "

I missed not doing my winter run this year and then when I see yours i feel worse. Anyway i needed a rest.:D

So the next lot you do, will that be a full summer run ??

hehe yep true never enough ,, any more though and id need machinery to plough for me ... i reckin there over quarter an acre ,,

ill surely put more in for the "summer run " but the monsoon really gets hold here mid january so wihtoiut a favourable season the shows over then ,, it can draw on longer , but honestly the herb is pretty crap given all the rain ...

I will be following this journal for sure. I grew out the Zoid last year and loved the strain. Moonunit does nice work! Also tried the C99 and loved it too.
Thanks for this great thread mate.
Respect from down south.

Well yesterday and today have been ,, hope it continutes ,, its still as out there now ,, perfect morning ...

Been good weather here to mate, yesterday we had intermittent rain with sunshine, but today is perfect......hope it keeps up for you mate:D

hey smoking moose ,, good to see you here , yep i like both strains seperately ,, and the combo is quite nice too , ..
mostly im smelling sweet and sour smells , some more zoid ,ssome are lean ing on the sweeter c99 side , that sour in the zoid tends to dominate quite a lot ..

good to hear its a nice day down your way too kanga ,, i should expect from here on in our weather will be similar till the storms begin here ,,

heres a budshot ,, ill get some new editing software for the pics so they stand out more ...

Hi don m8, looking great. You give yourself far to little credit m8. with the lines we are working together we both play an equal and important role, and your influence is in them z99s as much as mine is and i wouldnt have it any other way.Im sure together in the future we will achieve great things we could not have done with out each other.
Anyways back to the topic at hand, love that spot m8, always a pleasure to see those ladies in that beautiful soil.
Hi slayer and moose, great to see yall and ty for the lovely pics.
much respect
moonunit

Looking good Donald! I wish you the best of luck!

I can't wait for the spring again here in the northern hemisphere, to pop a bunch of beans including some ducksfoot.

hi moonunit and thanks for coming by, cheers man , and yep soils as good as it gets a the moment ,, just with the wetter than average type of year ,, its a bit wet ..lol ..
i think at least ill get to do a good test for mould resistance this season , crossing fingers for some hot dry weather ,,
the years that are wet never produce as good a resin as they dry hot years, hence the herbs never as good ... imho ...

hey bushweed , some c99 show a fair bit of outer leaf , but theres good solid nuggety bud within ,, hard to capture properly on the cameras , most of the zoid ive grown was quite full hard nuggets ,, ill find a pic to add here of some zoidfuel i grew the season before last ...

hi tex , thanks for the wishes , fingers always crossed here .. good luck on your next grow , hope its the best one yet ...
