best its ever looked actually darwin ,, its at its best when its that deep maron colour ,,, lots of worms in there this year also , all due to the organic matter ive been adding i guess ,,,
darn its soft and friable in there ...
more pics to come , just shrinking them down ...

This is a closer shot of that same paddock ,, you can see it goes up the hill a little further .. but i havent finished digging the trenches .
Again apologies about the weeds ,, just havent had time to get to them yet..
either ill get the weeds or with any luck the cannabis will shade them out in a few weeks .. hehe ..

This is the bottom and smallest paddock ,, probably around 100 plants in there i guess ,, they wont be very big , between 2 - 8 ounces per plant ,, again they will boom in the next few weeks ..
I will replant this area as soon as they come out ....

Hi big herb ,, thanks for coming along , im pretty excited about this grow also, its been a lot of work to get it to where it is ..

heres a bit of a list of whats going in ...

z99 (zoidfuel x c99)
mbs (zoidfuel x c99 x zoidfuel x deep chunk)
pure zoidfuel
c99
c99 x webbed (webbed indica x ducksfoot)
c99 x a few volunteer plants that i liked one season
Ill probably put a few other things out as the season goes on ,, to try and suit the coming weather ...

yes that is the lineage for the zoid line from what i recall ,, moon unit is the best to talk about with t hat ..
i believe the chinese indica came to his hands via chinese migrants , gold diggers etc ,, i recall a story about them planting along the rivers .. for an indica it had a sativa structure as i remember .. mr moon will no doubt clear that up for you ...
heres a few more pics ...

Have a NICE smoke

Hi don looking great as always m8,
The exact linage on the zoidfuel is
((old aussie sat(sourced here) x chinese indica (sourced here in oz)) crossed to ((old aussie sat( same line) x png gold( brought back for me from png)) = the line the zoidberg cutting came from( could call it the zoidberg line, never really named the line)
zoidberg cutting x (fof3)progeny tested father of fuel male 3( aussie high altitude sat line i called the fuel line)
= zoidfuel f1s
The chinese indica i sourced long long ago from a older grower i know, who sourced it himself. It was given to me as a yunnan indica line. Was very strange though in that it had thinner leaves but still remained short and stout. It was pretty weak sauce on its own, but had a great level positivity and antianxity to the small ammount of high. The small population i got to work with were mostly intermediate chemotypes with some hemp chemotypes, no real drug chemotypes. Also i found it was only really dominent in passing on its structure, shorter flower time and some of the anti anxiety properties, a perfect breeding tool for some situations. I wish i still had that line, if i could go back i would have safe guarded and kept alot more.

the chinese imigrents don talks about, are from some of my older posts on the aussie genepool, and how most dont even release, yet recognise that the genepool here is made up of alot more than thai. Chinese workers brought a good deal of the mordern asian veges we eat here in oz with them in the mid 1800s on, not only lovely brassicas and other veges, but native chinese cannabis, used for a number of things. Excess seed was usualy thrown in a near by river and spawned alot of the river side populations of old. The more se asian genetics did become prevelent from the 60s on though as they provided a much much better high and yield. When cannabis became popular as a recreational drug oncemore, the genetics that provided this came to the fore (thai ,se asian, afghans and indian) and with the wild populations being eradicated by the gov, most of the pre se asian invasion( not that it was a bad thing lol) lines became almost lost except as genetic rements in tiny pockets of todays bushherb( imho the abc/dizzy/mongy/bindy mutation is one of these rements mixed with an indian hemp of old and left isolated to evolve in the aussie enviroment for many years, but pure speculation on my part).
much respect
moonunit

Thanks for that moonunit - I learned that in some parts of China the tall lanky tree is for fibre and paper, while the short tree is prescribed for headaches. Zoidfuel sounds like a strong sativa dominant plant with a positive high. Just like most of us like them. Can I ask if the Ozi sats are Queensland lines?

Hey Donald that soil is something else. Looks like some chunky little buggers in the lower plot. I assume they're your winteries. All the best with all your spring grow.

Donald Mallard

well im sure the hard work will pay off

zoid line seems to be somthin special, ill keep post for progress

my suspecion about the chinese indica were correct

moonunit

the indepth report is refreshing and most appreciated,i lov details which you hav throughly provided

i was curious to kno if the chinese indica was yunnan ,i was a gifted som seeds from dubi ,soo i had the pleasure to grow out a yunnan cross wit kali mist ,as you say the yunnan was quite dom in structure very short n early finish ,im sure if i had a drier season she would hav done better but the final product was high grade and quite unique

the zoid line is intriguing ,im curious now as to the exact origin of the assuie sat

the history of the yunnan indica and history of the stock brought from chinese culture is a wonderful read

thankyou brother
