I own the 54w version Colgateras, It is decent but the transparant door kind of sucks tbh.

Dont give up on the damaged seedling, seeing the new growth, it looks like a fighter to me.

T In my opinion, you don't need to spend that much money on mother plants. For example, I have a box measuring 40×40×120The price was 35 euros. Also included was a cheap 50-watt dimmable LED bulb, priced at 25 euros. The LED bulb measures 35 x 35 cm.I have between 4 and 10 mother plants in 0.3 liter pots without a fan or any other fancy gadgets.

I’m seriously considering the tier 4 racks from mars hydro or spider farmer, I think I like more the spider farmer one because it has not only transparent door but a opaque one also.
My initial idea was very good but a 60x60 with in-line fan and fc1500 would be overkill for my low mother/cuttings needs, don’t you think?

For 1 or 2 mothers that I only need to get 4 to 6 cuttings each serveral months should be fine, I don’t really know if the small box would be enough or maybe the next size would be better, I have never kept mothers and clones, so I’m a newbie at this.

Wich one should I get? Just the small spider farmer?

Well I think I will buy the spider farmer 70x35x150cm with 108w that way I will have space if needed, dimmable lights, dual cover door, and the possibility to adjust height tiers and lights on each tier. Thanks anyway guys!

You definitely won't regret it! If I hadn't already been to the dentist three times and still had at least two expensive dental surgeries ahead of me, I would have gotten it too. Have fun and good luck with it!

Take a look, I damaged the cotyledons, maybe the damage did not affect the important part of the plant but that’s a big trauma for such a little plant…. Let’s see

If I were still a betting man, I'd wager that you're fine and say 'not to worry'.

Personally, I've done worse and still had an epic harvest! Just take good care of it and you're good, brah.

Past winter I kept 50+ mother/ father plants alive in small pots divided over only 2 levels.
Each level only powered by one 20w led bar.
I DYI'd an extra front cover to block most of the light.

I've kept mothers in a small as a 2"x2" nursery pots. Mastering the wet/dry cycle seems to be the key factor, for me.
