They are giants are they not? You still have the original clones? Which clone did you use when you made the seed so long ago?

But I think it was south African But It was described as being so strong that it made you throw up .Had it once and was some of the best herb I have ever had does anyone still have any copy's of the original seed catalog from your seed bank? Would love to find that strain again.

Which haze hybrids today can compete with that original cross? I have been to Amsterdam a few times in the last couple of years, I have tried silver haze, super silver haze, amnesia haze, to name a few, and thus far have not found anything that holds a candle.

What about Nevilles haze? I have not tried it. Is it as strong as that original NL5 haze C cross?

Any other modern hybrids anywhere near?

Well i threw down ten seeds and had 3 girls so not much of a large pool to make any real conclusions...pheno's were all very different as one only stretched about 6inches from a 16in plant but was extremely narcotic with a very euphoric and uplifting effect on the mind but very heavy/sleepy meds...pheno b was very tall at about 4.5ft and was very MangoHaze dominant in the high but if you smoked too much you could call it a day...pheno c was a fine mix in the middle that seemed 50/50 in the smoke department and very even, more of a light uplifting smoke...all in all a good run but i had some problems with hermie's on 2 of 3 and couldn't figure out the problem as i had other hazes (SSH) in the same room and they had no problems...didn't re-run them because pheno a was so short i got no cuttings, and pheno b and c had some hermie issues so i let the clones die off...i'd rate it an 8/10, if i could figure out the hermie problem (which a few others who tried this hybrid have experienced) then it be a solid 9-9.5...i've spoken through pm with others and all had some hermies for some reason but the smoke was exquisite

*Cannatari also it would not be the same cross with the Critical Mass as Shanti used his Afg/Sk male from the new Afg/Sk ibl line...Critical Mass is an afg/sk but selected for yield, the new line is more for medical patients or those who like heavy indica's...hope that helps but MHxCM would still be a very interesting cross!

Forgive me for not being more specific. If I recall correctly, all the seeds you sent out back in the day were feminized. That means that you must have pollinated a NL#5Hz clone with its own pollen from a hermaphrodite induced by gibberelic acid. Or am I wrong in making that assumption? I always just assumed that was how you did it. How did you do it?

Well if you did it the way I described above did you use NL5Hz1 or NL5Hz122?

Lets be honest Neville got the seeds from me, but he had promised me that he would not make pure Haze and sell them as such, I told him it was fine to make Haze hybrids with other varieties that were not mine.
He broke his word and started selling Haze pure and hybrids with my varieties, and I stopped working with him.
Maybe he lied to avoid the problems that accompany breaking your word? I can not say, but I know Neville did not meet the Haze Bros and did not get any O Haze seeds from them. Both the Haze Bros were close friends of mine and both were close neighbors for years, J lived a few hundred meters from my house until he departed to Mexico.

im curious to know ,what he refers to as you selling pure haze? as there has been no evidence posted or anyone that has agreed or proven this statement


If I remember correctly, The NL5Hz was my most expensive line. I don't recall putting out pure haze. If anyone got any off me, it would have been HzBC. This was not as good as the Hz hybrids.

also curious what does sams refer to when he says stopped working with you ?did you have any projects together or was he referring to him selling you stock?

I do know pure Haze was not in any of his old catalogs. Maybe someone got some Haze seeds off him? and Sam found out about it? or, maybe Sam is full of it? ;)

Now, to the point...and forgive me if I'm wrong, why doesn't Mr. Nice offer NL5xHaze?? You said this is your best work, why isn't it available anymore? Sensi has it, but I steer clear of them....is it copyright infringement or something?? Thank you for your time Nevil.

i understand there is no evidence that has been posted of pure haze in nevil's catalouges ,i was just born i believe when he dropped the first catalouge or you could bet id have them all till this day .


but he does speak of a pure haze which we all recently found out about ,although it was not reguarded as special i was still very excited to hear this and id love to know more details about her

but i can tell you that nl5haze is offered ,using the haze C parent

this is not the same nl5haze that nevil offered at the seedbank which used the haze A.now sensi seeds has a nl5haze but from reports its nothing of the old offering soo as too specifics on parents who's knows, but your looking in the right place my friend

as for the old nl5haze ,id love to see this released (as all haze lovers do) ,although not probable i thinks its possible

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys. To be more specific I was talking about the NL5xHaze A, which bigherb touched upon, that Nevil refered to as his best hybrid. If it is possible, I and many others would like to see it worked on, eventually. I'm kind of curious why it isn't available? Both of the original parents still exist if I'm not mistaken.

On another note, is the NL5/Haze in Mr. Nice's current Neville's Haze the Haze A or C or both?? I apologize, not trying to be lazy here, but I'm out in the middle of nowhere on a super slow broadband laptop, doing my duty. Thanks for understanding.

Nev's Hz= Nl5/HazeA x HazeC

I don't believe the HazeA is with us anymore, hence no new runs of NL5xHzA. The NL5xHzC is available on vu-du.:D

How does it make you feel to know you made me the happiest son of a bitch this side of Texas Nevil? I am the proud father of 9 Neville's Skunk seedlings, 8 Super Silver Haze, and 6 Mango Widow. I wonder if you knew all those years ago your plants children would be chilling in my living room right now ;)

My girlfriend has been asking me why I keep staring at my seedlings all day! Some people just don't understand, just being around them I get all giddy inside like a little kid on his way to summer camp.

I just wanted to ask how it felt to make me the happiest wanker this side of the hemisphere today :)

To be honest, I don't remember selling pure haze seeds at all and I don't remember making a contact with Sam about what I might do with the few plants that might come up from the 15 year old seeds that I paid thousands for.
I do remember Sam waffling on about how he should get royalties for everything that passed through his hands. Of course this was after I started having success with them.
You can't take everything anyone says seriously you know.
