Hi all

Here is a shot from the garden I took today . 12 males have shown sex and 14-15 females, a couple plants still haven't shown sex but I expect they will within the next fey days.

In the photo you can see the sexed 14 females and the couple of unsexed plants , (the males were removed to a different room) :

Plants grow faster now, I 'll transplant tomorrow in their final pots , 11Liter ones and add a bit of Mg (Epsom Salts) to prevent any Mg deficiences. The BioBizz soil and nutes seem to need a Mg supplement from what I ve experience from the previous grows when I used this soil and nutes so I ll just foliar spray some and add a bit to the water.

Hi Red :)

Thanx man . They are quite stretchy plants from what I see , only few nodes and they are already quite tall , quite stretchier than the ssh from what I experienced:

wow some super stretch you got going on there.. at least you got them sexing early otherwise they would have been monsters :) - very healthy looking indeed... good luck with the rest of your grow..

Good morning cytrax and GL

They are getting taller and taller every day , I think I should have used a MetalHalide lamp instead of hps for this stage , perhaps it would keep em a bit shorter and more bushy.

Atcually I am thinking of topping , perhaps it is too late and I will lose some yield, but if they keeping stretching I will run out of head space and will not be able to light the plants properly. So even though I am flowering from seed and the plants are quite 'mature' now as I see they are starting to shoot lots of pistils now, I may need to top for efficiency and practical reasons. Maybe top just a few of them not all , the stretchier ones. I need to decide today .

Haz3 How it going? Everythings looking nice and healthy. I was interested in what you thought about pinching the stems. I have never done this but was told that it slowed vertical growth for a few day while bottom contiued to grow. What are the side effects to this process? Is top/fim or lst a better practice. I usually top st 5th node and has done me right so far just wantede to get some feedback. Thanks.

Hi M2M

Everything is going great man :) Yes the plants are quite healthy and growing with fast rates. I transplanted the females yesterday in their final pots which are 11 L .

I finally got 17 females from the 28 seedlings which is exactly as many as I wanted , I used all the 11L pots I had around , so none was left unused :) , as if the seedlings knew how many I had to spare!

About 'pinching' .I always thought that the term was same to topping but I guess you mean just to pinch the top growth without removing much/any growth right? I guess it may help but I ve never done it . I like to fim or maybe lst if I have the free time to work with the plants daily . I will start bending / tying some of the plants down , the super stretchy ones ,the others are quite compact.

Here are two pics after the transplant

The first of the two is quite a fast plant from what I see, started to shoot many pistils compared to most mh plants :

Hey guy!!

Your plants are looking great. Those "fluted" looking main stems remind me of the Satori I grew. They had those really thick fluted looking stalks.

Nice f/m ratio you got too!!

My SSH will need to go 13 weeks since I'll be out of town next week for a while. Thank you for all the help these last months!!!!

And I have at least 2 new SSH babies as of Jan 31st!!
:D

17 girls is gonna keep you busy, but I'll be watching!

Topping didn't slow down my SSH that I could tell LOLOLOL!! Although I'm sure it did. I topped her twice, and supercropped her. She still ended up 40+ inches

Hi SF

How are you doing man?Hope you are well.

I am really happy with the f/m ratio, and yeah they are gonna keep me busy for the next 2-3 months! ;)

Its really good to hear that you are growing more ssh!

Thanx for dropping by man :)

High man,

She looks just like the A I found in my pack, the M/Haze is down as mostly sativa in seedsman's description,as opposed to SSH sativa/indica.

The ones I ran were the most sativa dom of the bunch, look forward to what you find ,

Their looking great, very happy in the new pots,I should imagine they will take off a bit now,or maybe just fill out with flowers or a mix of both,be nice to see how they respond.

Excellent work ,keep it up :)

peace.

Great females. Very promising. Topped any?
Love your detailed photography. Really like watching the grow from close up.

Great looking male, too. Hope there's a future for him ;)
