Santa Marta Gold It has a very spicy/sandalwoody/piney flavor
..Reeferman Seeds Original Haze is is the original haze from the Haze Brothers, from which all haze hybrids derive. It has a strong cat piss smell and is a super long flowering sativa. It is a very special strain, ideal for breeding. This strain has the biggest stretch out of almost all other strains - it can grow huge if allowed to do so
Colombian Gold
Colombian Gold came from the highland Colombian valleys near the equator, as well as on the coast (the Caribbean and the Pacific).
This was specialty pot offered commercially in the mid-70's, for about $60 to $100 per ounce. It was seeded, but most of the seeds were undeveloped, white and useless. A few rare, viable seeds were found that were dark, small-sized and roundish. The buds were leafy and the most beautiful golden blond color. Legend has it that upon maturity the plants were girdled, then left standing to die and cure in the mountain sun and mist.
The color and cure were unique, and the aroma, flavor and high were equally so. The smell was that of sandalwood incense, almost like frankincense. The flavor was that of a peppery cedar. It was some of the most unique tasting herb in the world, and the high was just as exciting. It was truly psychedelic, powerful and long lasting.
First came the great flavor, then the stupefying awe of the shift in consciousness followed by a giddy excitement and bursts of joyous laughter. Smile-lock and red-eye made it painfully obvious who was under the influence of this great psychedelic herb
as for the SMCG ive been intrigued for many years by this stain of yesteryear and from my reasearch most of the OT's who ive asked to shared their experience with this line report the frankincense trait ,there are quite a few reports or responses to me on IC i believe here aswell, there seems to be more than one soucre that hasdt his line alive
recently in this thread osoloco69 reported som info on colombian imports his description for the
which to me is very similar too the neville haze pheno i had last year, aswell as an almost exact was reported by dutchgrown from IC who said neville personally gifted her NH seeds
now throw in catpiss and this is NYC haze and has also been reported to be very similar to the fourth variety of OHAZE (all in the same convo) ,which i believe was the gold pheno
description from attitude seed bank which use to be labeled haze bros haze

The more I read about Oaxacan, the more I want to run some. I have been searching all over the net and cant find any seeds available.
Does anyone have any leads where I can obtain some of these special seeds? Im preparing for a big Haze run within a month.

I'm on the hunt for some too. Check out Mextiza from Cannabiogen, Mexican Haze from Kiwi Seeds, and Chimera's Highland Mex X Blueberry. I'm leaning towards the Mexican Haze from Kiwi, anyone else feel free to add any other suggestions. Good luck!
Kiwi seeds Mexican Haze is Nev's Nl5/Haze cut x a Mexican male, it's a really nice smoke but not a grail strain.
Peace, GG

From the mid '80s onward, descendants of Haze C penetrated most corners of the world. Americans and Canadians (enterprising buggers) set up projects throughout South America and more. American and Italian diplomats (spooks) came in embassy cars and bought substantial quantity's of seed for God knows what projects. Those were strange times! Feral hill-billies from Canada and the U.S., who had been dirt poor for 7 generations, suddenly started earning money and sometimes they'd put their brightest young fella on a plane with a brand spanking new passport and send him off to see me. I've met some characters, but mostly they were good old boys and I did what I could to help them get to where they were going.recently in this thread osoloco69 reported som info on colombian imports his description for the

I once had a map of the U.S. and I put red dots where I'd (allegedly) sent seeds to, (just for my own private amusement). Let me tell you, those red dots changed that map.
The point I'm making with this stoned story, is that most of the wonders that I have tracked down, ended up being descendants of Haze C and NL5. Lots of experimental stuff that did not find it's way into the catalogue got sold to people who came to see me, often tailored to their particular needs. Varieties with a reliable provenance prior to '85 are more likely to be what we are looking for. I didn't ship to Australia and New Zeeland, being my own back yard, but even so, others did and I sold seeds to just about anyone with money who came to see me.
I hope I don't have to go back and delete this, I'm a bit stoned after smoking my first joint in two days. I'll remember this as the "Great Drought" of 2010.

Thanks for the info on Chimera's Highland Mexican x Blueberry. BTW, I looked over Chimera's description of the parentage, and the Mexican is highland Guerreran rather than Oaxacan. Of course, the two are right next to each other on a map, and the strains could be virtually identical. I'm hoping someone makes an indoor friendly Oaxacan cross, but in the meantime you're right, Chimera's looks like a good place to start!Chimera's are very very nice. You won't be disappointed! I do feel as if making f2's and selecting for the traits you want would be the best option. The blueberry in it isn't overwhelming as far as dominant traits passed on. If you want a superior Highland (Oaxacan) Mexican, this is probably one of the better lines to work with.
Chimera is a very good guy too. I'm sure he would be willing to chat with Nevil... maybe even donate a cutting of his Mexican for the cause. Not sure on that, as it's a very powerful breeding tool to be giving away. But like I said, Chimera is a good man.
