Did you see the plant that I posted in shanti's "Femm'd flower pix" thread? It was a nanner from a superSpice used on a SSH female. Very nice plant. Seemed to be just what it sounded like - SSH with a lil Spice chunk, flavor and color.
Ideally, I could inbreed the Spice x ssh seeds and the SSHf2's individually a few generations, and try a few combinations of plants down the road. Lol, I have so many plans, and so few watts
Now, I'm JUST starting to see these LN f2's, and so far, they are throwing me *that* vibe. 4 plants, all BEASTING. I think that I may have lucked out with the male. He was selected based on expressed (as opposed to passed) traits, and was VERY vigorous, relatively fast, and prolly the relatively heaviest male that I've seen (flower production relative to the age/conditions in which plant was flowered). Glorified pollen chucking at best, but the 4 females in flower are CRANKING. L33t said something awhile back that has stuck with me, and before I can get landrace genes, STAYS with me:

LN is unique in that it doesn't have any skunk, afghan, or nl in it, unlike the vast majority of available hybrids.
I'm thinking that a Spice/LaNina cross would produce some seriously stinky, happy, chunky nuggets.
The more that I read, the more that think that inbreeding hybrids then testing out 'per se' outcrosses to other inbred lines is what I wanna do with my pollen chucking. I don't have access to landrace genetics (YET
), but I do have some incrosses, and 2 more batches to make.
Here is where I'm at with my bean making.
G/Sk - I have f2's that I really like. From what I've read and seen online, they are almost 'textbook' sweet skunk. Sweet plants that kick ass in the weight/time/power continuum, with a numbing 'up' high. I would like to work with them to that extent.
SSH - I have a big batch with 7 different combinations of plants (male 1 x female 1,2,3; M2 x F 1,4,5,6). I need to grow lots more to get a feel for them, but I know what I like in SSH, so that is what I will select for. I also have a bunch of beans that were selfed from my hazy cut that I wanna run. I've been reading more and more about using selfed offspring to 'map' a plant. If there is 1 that I wanna play with it's the iffy!
Spice x SSH - Gonna do a large run to inbreed the cross. I will include my 'keeper' cut. It will be my first back cross. I'm thinking that I wanna select primarily for size, color and stink. I would be inbreeding for use in future out crosses, so if I can find a few plants that tend to pass on those traits down the road, I'd be pumped. I have my keeper from this 1:1 initial cross.
EQ x Shit - Outdoor flower power. Prolly will only incross 1 time, so I will have to devote space to saving potential parents and time to run test offspring to the project, but it will happen in the next 12 months. Sucks that I have to 'work' inside. the results will be a 'best guess' transferred to outdoors, but I will gobble up the experience. How happy will I be if I CAN create a winning combination, and keep both parents.
The rest of my beans are just for play or I haven't run enough to make any plans for. Honestly, most of the rest are 'genetic soup'. I will be inbreeding with my Shits, and if I get plants similar to the MasterKazes that I ran in the summer from the 6 I'ma crack in a few weeks, I'ma incross the 'kushy' plants. I have high hopes for the MKaze cut that I have, so I will prolly include her in the incross.
DAMN. Turbo typing. I wish that I could make the plants grow as fast as I just typed out my plan for canna domination!!
PS. The plan also includes an open pollination of a whole pack of BWidow and a whole pack of Af/Hz (separate F2 batches) within the next year. Hopefully they will be available in the early spring when I order.
PPS. They discontinued Organic Gem!!! It's the fish hydrolysate that Bueno turned me on to. I'ma pick up some Neptune's Harvest in it's place. Seems to be the same product - whole bottom feeding fish that are cold processed to protect oils/protien chains. I get all jacked up for my bi-annual hydro spree!

Glad to hear that you have the beginnings of a plan going on! I'm looking at dropping seeds on April 1 and April 20. I will have the first round sexed by May 15ish (earliest that I can THINK aout going out), and the 2nd round by June 1. Hopefully the first round will be (EQ x Shit) x (EQ x Shit), and the 2nd round will be Shit f2's. I have to REALLY work on locations this spring. I should have a MAJOR advantage spring of '10 vs the last 2 years. Thinking of 3-4 locations w/2-3 spots per. 'Spots' will be smaller this year. 2 seedplants or 4 clones.
