Same cut, same soil, same room, gets sealed up today.

In my own lil world, I describe this cut as people in europe describe the 'amnesia' ssh. Maybe this one is a lil quicker, and the other is a lil headier, but this is where the flavor is at. The buds going into the jar today are the end of the cut.

It's good to be a sports junkie the last few hours. I stayed up late to watch Kobe drop the dagger 3 on D.Wayde (after Fish's dagger, and DWayde missed a freethrow) to beat the Heat, and now I got a great Cin/Pit big east 'Chip game. Snowin like a Mua'fukka, and I got a box of miniatures and a jar of dank!

Very nice looking SSH Patrick. Same with the Green Crack; a strain I have always wanted to grow out, but could never find a reliable source for some cuts. I can only hope my P-88grow will go as well for I have not grown for just under a year due to personal issues and struggles.

To me, it seems like dank cuts that I can't get, but could find in dutch/canadian/us/bag seed. Green crack is similar to trainwreck? Sativa dom, fast and practical for indoors? I'll actually be getting an 'elite' in a few weeks. Dood has a rooted ECSD, and promised me a cut or 2 around the 1st of tha year. I call SSH my 'crack' of weed Smacks me in the head with a warm rush, makes me sweat and stutter for a minute, and I wanna smoke more every ~20 min just to get the smell in tha air.

Yes, they were my last 4 seeds. There is a story behind them, and I lost my true mothers and fathers over legal issues(not involving LEO, more personal over a custody battle). These P-88 are similar, yet somewhat different b/c when I first got the seeds, I did a few runs and selectively hand picked mothers and fathers to make more seed. They are similar to the C-99 in scent and flavor, yet lean more on the Shiva Skunk in yields and potency.

I have did several C-99 runs in which I had kept 3 different mothers which were also lost, however I do have a decent amount of each of the 3 phenotypes in seed form; a rotting fruit scented phenotype(which I feel is the most potent), another is the Pineapple pheno(I still think it smells more like a tropical fruit salad laced with gin), and then the more typical fruity, more citrus scent which produces the most crystals out of the 3.

The grow is in my gallery if you want to take a look. Presently I'm trying to figure out which of the strains I want to run next year. I really want to preserve the NL strains I have, and some of the true inbred lines, however space is an issue right now.

I do like the SSH, however I have so many strains and seeds right now i just cannot justify making a seed purchase.

sativa - Space is ALWAYS an issue, lol I was bullshittin yesterday with my buddy that I could be a REAL breeder in just a 3 bedroom house with a sunny back yard if herb were legal. Selections based on 500+ females, and a full room to maintain prospective parents. However, 5 years with no parole, a 15k fine when I get out, AND a federal drug felony to follow me around is enough to keep me chukkin pollen, and just making obeservations more than making genetic strides, lol. Of all of the pollen I've chucked in the last 2 years, I'm starting to see that some of the combinations produce consistient winners, and some combinations produce 'hit and miss' plants. Just fun to play right now

Yeah, #5 is gone after ~a year. I really liked her, but I dropped my 'moms' from ~10-12 to 4, and she didn't fill a 'need'. I have a few seedlings goin, and I have a bunch more to run if I start to um... pine... for the quick churchieness! Red, are you still running any Af/Hz?

Well, Bama DESTROYED Florida in the 2nd half of the SEC game, but I got ANOTHER thriller in the ACC game. Love CJ Spiller, and in Xbox NCAA Football, my dynasty team has been GA Tech for a while, lol.

Very wise to the ways of the Jedi, you are Pat...I assume you will keep that little secret between us...a lot of hype behind the Cali clones...I've come across many that were heavily overrated, but thusfar this clone seems to be worthy of it's reputation...I've never grown TW, so I'm not sure how similar they are...I do know that normally TW gives fluffy sativa buds, whereas GC buds are actually very dense...which is quite nice...two totally different flavors as well...IME...jay

I am presently placing my P-88 into flowering b/c I cannot wait any longer to get into these old 80's strains that came back to me. Thinking the Emerald Pearl [Early Pearl X Afghani #1] X [Hawiian Blue Oahu X Afghani Charas]), and the #3 Sativa (Santa Marta Columbian X Hawiian Puna Gold/Northern Thai(Chiang Mai Region) b/c these were strains which we were working back then.

So very true JB. I recently learned that a grower I do not trust is said to have a true original Bubblegum mother and is offering cuts for $5 to other growers. I may just have to step out there on that b/c Bubblegum was one of the strains I lost over the yrs and always found it to be very good for my Migraines and ECH. I tried a few variations, but none gave me the same effects as the original I aquired in New England several years ago. It is said he has the true strain which orginated in Indiana.......we shall see possibly.

I'm curious Patrick Star; were some of those put into 12/12 from rooting clones or from seed? How was your yields? My anticipation will not allow me to wait any longer, so I want to break into some of my old 80's strains. So I decided to put my P-88 into 12/12 early. So I'm kind of curious now if I'm making the right decision. I'm not too worried about seeds b/c I have plenty of C-99 seeds, 3 different phenos actually, so my only concern now would be how much I'm effectng my yield by going to 12/12 early.

So far from the 7 LN f2's, I see 2 males, a probable female, and the runt is a possible female. I'll drop a few pics in here, but the majority of those updates will be next to my LN clone in the LN thread. I have seedlings of:

I'll prolly flip them around christmas/new year's. I was kicking around what to drop the other day, and this is the prelim schedule:
~Dec 10 - EQ x Shit - Making beans, and getting a feel for the ~100 of these that I have. Outdoor bulk.
~Jan 1 - Master Kaze (last 6); SuperSpice
~Feb 1 - SSH f2 OR LN f2 AND G/Sk f2.
~Mar 1 - Shit (last 6); and a cross with sativa parents - ssh/pakalolo/lanina/gsk/ogkxg13h/etc...
~Mid April - Drob a bunch of EQ x Shit, and a bunch of (eq x shit) x (eq x shit) for outside. Prolly some Spice x Shit too.

Inbetween, I have the following clones - SSH (12 week lemon haze, aka One, iffy); LaNina (9/10 week skunky catpiss haze), SuperSpice (9/10 week hawiian sativa dom), MasterKaze (B from my test grow, haven't finished her from clone yet, seedplant was killer kushy/funky/incensey and went ~52 days after first flower). I'm finishing up some Spice, Pakalolo, and SuperSpice that I'm running out.

JB, I won't tell anyone that the cali clones are sometimes overhyped, if you don't tell that just about everybody overhypes their own clones (myself included, lol). In my mind, it would be hard to imagine better smoking clones than the LaNina and SSH that I have. Deep down, I'm sure they exist - but on the surface, I will smoke, and think, "I heve the best weed for a 'xxx' mile radius...". And be serious about it, lol

Yo mrlvr I haven't had good results growing w/o veg for the most part. I have a ssh clone that can go right into flower, or even root in flower, but I've found that a week of veg makes for much sturdier and consistient plants. For seedplants, I pretty much figgure that it takes a week from when I drop the seeds in the papertowel to when they break the surface of the dirt (2-3 days in the papertowel, ~3 days under the dirt, a day or so to 'open'...)Then I give them 2-4 weeks past that in a 20/4 light schedule (veg). I rarely have plants sex in veg, and it generally takes 2-3 weeks in 12/12 for sativa doms and ~10 days+ for Indy leaners to show. I'm big on supercropping and 'trimming to encourage growth' to keep the plants size/shape in line.

I've seen killer 12/12 from seed grows (L33t, atmosphere), and I've seen lots of people run 12+ week cuts with no veg successfully. However, I rely on certain yield #'s in order to eat and keep the grow going . I don't have a green enough thumb/tight enough environment to consistiently hit #'s with 12/12 only. IMHO - If there are no hiccups, a 12/12 grow can yeild ok, but a SLIGHT hiccup will cost you more weight than it would with 2 week veg (which would hurt more than a hiccup in a 4week plant...). A real hiccup makes for some 5g plants.

Lol, here are the 3 plants that I currently have in flower that went straight to 12/12 after rooting. They were all very healthy clones going in. The 2 bags are SSH (12wk flower), and the hempy is Lanina. They are all 3 weeks, and the 1 SSH got stunted. I'm betting on ~30-35g from the healthy SSH, and ~20 from the smaller one. On the up side, I think that the longer flower strains have more opportunity to overcome a hiccup. If they were Shit or Spice clones, and I ran them no veg/soil, I'd be looking at ~15g and 5g, lol. The Lanina wasn't TRULY no veg, as she was WAAAYY rooted when I pulled her. But no time in her own container under 20hrs, with N nutes.
