Super Silver Haze x Haze AC testers

So, four of the five SSH x Haze AC plants are growing like crazy. Even in the taller tent, they were already nearly hitting the ceiling again—despite the branches having been bent sharply downwards to make room for the others. That’s not really how I had pictured it. I’ve only experienced such vigorous growth once before—with the A5 Killer Haze. One plant has a smell—reminiscent of A5 Haze—that I really don’t like; it’s somewhat reminiscent of sweat and raw meat. With the A5, however, that smell only appeared later on.
Anyway, I’m really curious to see how things develop. They are certainly powerhouses. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to work on the tents—or even enter the room—at night while my wife is asleep. ✌️
Hi Friend!
Your plants are doing awesome.
And if you didn't like some of the A haze aromas....
Don't worry about it too much. I know from my own experience that the A5 aroma you currently dislike will fade after proper aging, transforming into something more reminiscent of a floral bouquet.
This is what happened to 99% of my KA5H with the meaty/liver aroma.
But they needed a long long cure.
It was about +/- 3 months.
I wasn't a fan of the scent at first either, but the effect was so long-lasting and pleasant that you stop noticing it.
And then, after a while, you discover it has done a complete 180-degree aroma turn.

BTW:
And you’d better not piss off your sleeping wife trying work on the tents at night,or she’ll give you such hell that the smell of meat/liver will seem like perfume compared to the sulfurous stench of the hellscape she’ll turn your home into:LOL:
Contrary to appearances, wives are dangerous creatures.:ROFLMAO:

Best Regards!
RK

Two of the vigorous SSH x AC plants. Even without bending any branches aside, the lower ones are immediately shooting up toward the light. Well, I’d say my grow is a true reflection of myself—chaos! That might be because the only jars left are filled with stuff I don’t want to smoke; it does nothing but harm my health. An entire tent was destroyed by spider mites. I had relied on beneficial insects despite temperatures hitting 36°C. It makes me wonder if I only started growing yesterday. I haven't spotted any spider mites on the SSH x AC plants yet; the beneficial insects are voracious at these temperatures.
With that said, have a great weekend! ✌️

Thanks, @ResinousKingpin ! Thank goodness for these testers! Given the lousy conditions I had (heat, spider mites?), the SSH x ACs are the only ones doing well. The A5 took over 100 days for me, too. At first, it smelled just like you described—like a bouquet of flowers—but by the end, the smell was so off-putting it completely ruined the experience for me. In the end, only one lower side branch on that huge plant was any good. But this time, there’s going to be a plant in the mix that actually gets me high and tastes great. Ever since the Angel Heart #1 and #2 "Mango Lassi," I’ve realized I don’t want those Cali strains anymore. They really take the joy out of smoking for me. That’s just not how it should be. I know all too well that women can be dangerous creatures—I grew up with two sisters. The last woman brought me a world of trouble. I didn't rely on her the way I do on these plants, though. She was just a hot, crazy bitch—as we’d say around here. And just like this one, she didn't know a thing about the hobby. Best regards! ✌️

Makes sense. The Haze male A was supppsed to put pass on metalic liver and meat flavors. My Z7HzAC had that liver flavor, as well.
I know one thing for sure: I can't stand that smell of meat and liver. I mean, it’s truly breathtaking—the aromas that develop and transform during the flowering stage are simply fascinating. Take the A5 Haze, for instance: it started out sweet and floral, then turned into a smell of decay, and at one point actually smelled like sweat in an ice hockey locker room. Guawi smelled like strawberries. Nowadays, when you go to the dealers, no matter what you pick, it’s just Kush or Cali dessert strains—nothing else. As a Viennese, I’ve got to have a bit of a grumble about that.✌️

I once grow Skunk Haze that smelled like fruit salat with fish :D
But it really turn out like peppery neutral smelling skunk after good cure.. It got beautifull flavours then.

These smells and taste profile changes are what gets me wondering everytime ;)

14 days of flowering are behind us
Bigger plants are stretching just a bit, so I did some shaping in the tomato cages with these. The smaller ones catching the height insanely fast :)
Iam quite happy with #6 as she got my attention - she is the only one that looks almost completely different to the others, so I made another batch of clones just to be sure.

Day 36 of flowering (12/12).

Around halfway now and more than half look like they will be in the 10week range.
Some of these phenos show dense and very resinous buds, the more longer flowering ones tend to have stronger and more exotic aroma's.
There is quite some variation but most people should find someting to their liking, I'm impressed and eager to see them a bit futher in flowering.

I have started feeding them 3ml/L Alga Bloom but should have done it a couple of waterings sooner.
Some are showing yellowing of the big fan leaves, the most sativa expression seems to be the most hungry one also.

When opening the shack I get the most exotic perfume like smell, there should be one in there that is far stronger smelling than the others.
Pherhaps there are several with the same aroma profile, in 2 weeks time I will check them again.

I kept the lighting around 75%, seems enough for them.

The group:

@Swifty I really like how your gals are stacking. Some have that spear pointed haze look like skunk haze or SSH, while others seem to be developing that domed top cola look that @musashi mentioned the AC male passing on in The Doors, if I remember correctly. Damn, you all have me hating how long I have to wait to pop those seeds!
Indeed Diesel, there is quite some varation so most people will find something to their liking.
Every plant does have a nice smell and a good amount of resins forming and a couple look to be exceptional!
A very well worked line imo.
Patience, your day will come and it will be rewarding.;)

Hi everyone!
Your test grows look really neat and tidy! Three of the five SSH x AC test plants are almost overwhelming me with their growth. I removed the net. No matter how much I bend the branches down or trim them back, those tender shoots just stretch right back up toward the light. I actually like that kind of growth habit—just not right now. Two of the plants smell somewhat like you described: floral and slightly lemony. But the two that behave similarly to A5 Haze? That smell is anything but pleasant to me! My wife said they smell like urine—like a dirty urinal with those toilet rim blocks. All the cuttings have rooted now, except for SSH x AC #3. Of course, it had to be the one that currently looks the most promising to me—though it's too early to say for sure. Here’s another photo of the chaos I’ve created!
Have a great week, everyone! ✌️

Good evening, friends of mindful consumption. ❤️😃💚

Here’s a little update on the Super Silver Haze AC testers after just over a month of curing in the jars.

When it comes to the smell, Big Mama is definitely more floral, fruity and simply really nice. I can also confirm what @Schlawiener mentioned — especially when it comes to Little Sister.

Little Sister has more of that meaty, almost cat-piss or urine-like taste and smell. She’s completely different from Big Mama.

I’m going to leave both of them in the jars for another two or three months and see how the aromas develop over time. But I think these are probably the two directions they’re heading in.

Personally, I’m more on the Big Mama side. Her buds are also noticeably denser and more compact compared to Little Sister.

Wishing you all a blessed evening.

Love and keep it Green Breddaz ❤️ 💛 💚

All plants are wonderfull on their own.
The smells inside budding are somewhat same, pleasant, like freshly dried flowers with bits of perfume.
#6 have bit of some twist to it.
Stems smells are now mainly the same - sweet fruity like.

Height gain is stoping a bit I believe. Tho, the two older girls need some bit of nutrients right now, Iam gonna tell you.
