C/NLxKCBB. Almost filling the screen by the solstice. Ig ot 2 dozen clones of this one and I've planted a f2 it's in 11ltr pot. If its male I have 5 aunts to make seed with now. Going to see the other garden tomorrow. The EarlyQueen F2's and my EarlyxNLHzF3 should also be ready to sow and see what happens when planted on the solstice.

I broke my phone today. Noting is cracked but the screen has stopped working. I was doing my jobs and snapping some pics and I came back to take a finished shot and the thing wont open. Nuisance.
I collected the seeds from the 2 small plants today and rolled them up into a doobie, there was 2 sizes of seeds. The EQF2 being smaller and a larger type of the HazexNLF3.
The smoke was the first of the day, it's sweet, earthy motivating and calming. smelled good too
I also jarred up the 1,2,4,5 plants that were in flower. I cut those to the bottommost nodes and had the tops and seeds drying layed out on linen, those rev's have taken really well. 1 plant died no 3 and I have progeny from him going into the solstice just emerging pst the true leaf state.
I will have a puff of these 4 plants now and hope to recover my pictures
Each one had formed into a doam like topary apperance. Need to do some tying down there and a bit of IPM and water more heavily now. No#2 is the yeilder of these plants. No#5 the fruitiest. I'm smoking number #1 now. #4 could be the wild card. I'm gonna smoke #2 1st.
I will try get some pictures sorted and get my other phone out.

Interesting day yesturday. I picked through some plants, deseeding, smoking, making finger hash. The spoils for the season so far are;
40x Early Queen F2 seeds (Same Male 2 Earliest to trigger females).
11x Early Queen x HazexNL so far F3 (Biggest Early Queen).
10 x Early Queen x CNLKCBB
10+ CNLxKCBB F2 from 5 mothers
10+ CNLxKCBB x HazexNL F3 from plants #2 #5
(Still 2 plants to pick through)
These are my 1st sowing later this season when the sun starts to close down. I want plants that are at true leaves by Halloween and see if and what can finish up.
Some of the EQ f2's should be mixed flowering types photoperiod and non photoperiod.
The 11 EQxHazeNL#3 These I would like to make some f2's and see what happens if they cross back to EQ and EQf2. I have to cross a male to some NL and see if I fund any Pearl like plants. I plant to use the Ortega and the NL#5 from Shantibaba.
I have 1 of the CNLKCBB growing.
I have not managed to get the cod working ion my phone yet. I ran it out of battery hoping the phone would rest and reset it's antics. This hasn't been the case. I got the replacement out and charged it off the computer and it had a do you trust this PC message so I am waiting on that to die and maybe we can do some cloud swapping and pull yesturdays pictures.
If not it's a trip into town at some stage to try get things fixed. This isn't England and I don't see it as being a fun thing to do in this heat.

Cannabis smokes nice, I rolled up one after a roast dinner yesturday and it put me to sleep. One of the plants tastes like the Cheese x SMG plant I used to keep. Smells like tomato/ and lime.
Plant 6, the biggest has the best effects/taste but #2 has the most nose, the leaf type and structure and the flavour/aroma carring through in the smoke.
I still have the CNLKCBB Male that made theese is still dropping pollen, no reveg on this male, maybe I can conjure up a few more seeds before the end of the year.
Gonna take a walk now and see if the remaining 3 EQ's have gotten morre male parts ort there's another female hiding away. I've 11 Early Skunk Haze to check over and some Early Pearl Skunks and some Early Pearl x CambodianXLaos.
I have been able to see what the Early Pearl, what the Haze and what the Skunk brings to the table primary growth trait wise growing all of these in the same plot, it has been very usefull to me to see the shared charachteristics of these 4 early types in one spce at one time.
I think I can see a few usefull crosses that could be made.
The Early Queens x Early Sk The Early SKHae to the Early Skunk and the CAOS (Cambodian-Laos) to the Skunk. Much depends if the 'Male' Spiraling EPSH is the one I think it is as that might just pollinate everything. it has more vigour and better branching than the other plants.
I'd like one male to pollinate each garden... I wan't some of the CAOS xEPSkunk

Yesturday seen a lot of work in the garden. all the irrigation was set, second drippers went to the maincrop, 2 backup reservoirs were linked into the lines.
Some thought went into male plant selection and saving seed. Do I keep a male of each variety Do I keep the EPSH male I like most or do I go with a Skunk male or the Early Queen Male.
I don't want wind blowing pollen all over the shop. I would like a few more bags of seeds. But not Bagseed I am gonna keep my F2 growing regardless.. Do I use it or make things more complicated growing 1 top on each male and go that route. There's some good looking plants and it'll be a shame to not have some more semi-auto possibilities. It'll be weeks and weeks to get to this stage again and will I find such plants again is the $100.000.000 question
Looking into the genes to see if one male would give more than a bunch of males. I'm leaning towards the Early Queen pollinating itself and the EPSH. the EPSH pollinating itself and crossing into the EQ without pollinating the rest. I maybe should get a few clones together and do it that way..
I've found 3 good looking males. A really compact skunk, possibly the tightest plants i've seen. The spherical EPSH, morphologically looks like a tropical plant and i've 3 EQ's that i'm looking at what recovers fastest and which will put on more growth over the next few weeks.
What I knoe is the EQ's I have already seen are super Early and they produce a lot of seeds on small plants so I can't stop thinking about these Genetics. Early Girl Early Pearl Superskunk are the way forward in one direction. Even the EPSH has the same genetics to a degree and they should blend welln later down the line.
Maybe the wild card is the 'CAOS' i'd use a male from that line and pollinate the Early Skunks and have a BX of sorts.. The males on that SA side are what I am looking for I think.

Playing with this one. Wondering if i should cage it in bigger mesh, give it another foot and grow it as a doughnut. Or fold more back to the centre and sides and fill the grid more as I am now or put a cane tepee up as support for tying in the branches rather than individual support

This is the male I selected this run for making some f2 Queens and a few crosses. I have another dude but i'm more inclined to want plants of this structure.
There's 7 girls. It's a lot of work to be using 2 males and I feel I could use a lot more males if I like what I get testing the 1-1's.

I tell you what it's hot gardening in this weather, most people bugger off back to the UK now, i've got loads of bits and bobs to be getting on with so i'm kinda juct pushing through. This is one of a few projects that are underway. To get a proper big plant you want to be here planting on Croptober 31st October. i'm trying to see what I can pull off of something like the scrog as they are much easier to DEP through the season. Take down and dry it all on the disk is much easier than a huge bush taken in sections.
I hope to upgrade this spot to 30 holes with the cages on next year just to keep the plants a bit lower/ wider. I'd have done it already but a roll of it is very very heavy. I would probably do the samwe as this year and put the cages on at the solstice and cut out the main tops for cuttings I want to see what they look like with no limitations.
It is great growing outside but it's also nice to have that indoor security. I have a good tan which you don't get in a unit and i'm getting fit walking these hills daily.
I do hope that I get enough early seeds to be able to get like the mother of all things planted at October so in march I have like 200+ Early Queens that get rained into the hillside and flower through January February March when all the cover crops return.
This Plant is Cambodian/Laos x Early Pearl. There's a Early Queen to her right. behind to the right you can make out the next plant. I've gone with 1.5 m spacings on some and a bit less on others.
The first plantings all got amended and backfilled with the Premix and have the native dirt mounded up around them. The second sowing just got put into the ground and had the roots pryed from the pots and the holes were backfilled with just the native dirt. hole size doesn't really mean much here as it's deep maybe 2 times as wide as the pots. it's just with some media you get a good buffer with feeding and a plave to put a dripper and ity allows some constant moisture and buffering for the rhizome.
water is the thing now. They are all planted and in final locations and have been heavily watered in for a week almost. It's fine tuning the drippers so that they jeep the plants from wilting during the day and then I can flood them when it cools off and I reload each of the tanks with the cooler water. This is when I have been feeding. I've made a 200 ltr pot of water that has been mixed with some HESi and then when it's 1/2 full I have been topping it up and draining it so every other day they get a flood and then they get dropper of 1/2 - 1/4 strength just to keep them in good shape.
Each plant wants around 5 litres at sundown. this gets them to peak for the full sun and then they need a few litres just tricking over to keep them praying.
I have the feedings set at 09:30 am for 30 mins. 12pm for 30 mins and 5pm 30 mins. this is the 1/4 strength this uses maybe 1/2 the resevoire as they never fully drain due to the taps and the filters inside. At this stage when they are low I mix up another 1/4 strength mix add it into the mixer turn them off once its filled mixed and fed the potent bit.
It's fast. I rolled up a good size spliff this evening and it took me 30 mins to do a top up on 5 of the feed tanks thern I drained them off for 30 mins and clerared the lines as i had checked thre drippers earlier and then I turned them off manually and added back the flush water. I have a bottle on the end of each line for this.
I must get some more drippers for incase some block and when it gets to August I'll need to either put another dropper per plant for that 30 mins or extend it. I'd rather put another dripper on and set it for 15 mins ever other hour. That will be 3 dripper per plant one at the stem one 1' out that get water down deep and another set to spread in the evening drench fertigation.
