The premiere with SSH from seed

Thanks @theghost420 and @Mr. Brown !

The SSH Dame has already been replaced. La Bomba had to make way for it, without knowing beforehand what it would actually be like after curing.

After waiting this week, its aroma has somehow become sweeter.

I hope I have enough patience to let it sit in the jar for another three or four weeks. Anything else would be a waste!! โœŒ๏ธ

Thanks again so much for all your congratulations! I really like the look of it. It's probably exactly the honeygrass (that's what I call this kind of sticky, oily resinous coating) that's definitely the case with the Purple SSH. That's why I know that with this type of cannabis, very slow, gentle drying is extremely important, as is longer storage. I don't think you should smoke it before that. The oily buds certainly aren't dry yet since the temperatures dropped again. But to extend the drying process a bit, I carefully put them in a paper bag, making sure they wouldn't get crushed. Visually, I now know that I'll find a Haze at Mr. Nice that meets my psychedelic desires. So far, I really love the look of it. An old-school look with that honeyy texture.

I'm looking forward to the smoke test. โœŒ๏ธ

I'm so excited I have to give another update on Purple SSH. I've now removed all the leaves that I don't want to smoke. And initially, I removed a few too many. During processing, I can now tell from my skin whether it's good quality. It definitely needs more care than indica strains. Yesterday, I filled a large and a small jar. But the buds from the large jar were still too moist after a few hours. So, I've now put these buds in a dry fermentation bag for another 24 hours. After 24 hours, they'll go back into the jar. Then, I'll air them out every few days for another one to two weeks. I'll try again in four weeks.

Of course, I had to try it already. It makes you clear-headed and gives you a short tingling sensation. You're wide awake. I just know it needs to stay in the jar for at least four more weeks, if not longer, to mature. Then you should be able to say more. Right now it's simply a waste to smoke it. It has no effect. But what it causes nowโ€”this tingling and feeling completely presentโ€”makes me optimistic. That something psychedelic will develop after eight weeks of storage! The resin I formed into a small ball with my fingers is really oily.

So, in any case, a cutting from her has to be included in the SSHxAC test grow again. I love sitting alone in front of these buds. Good skunk often looked like this back in the day. Visually, this stuff already transports me back in time. This is simply what I imagine old-school to be. And in eight weeks, she'll deliver that old-school high too. Good things take time. โœŒ๏ธ

It makes you clear-headed and gives you a short tingling sensation.
This is what I wrote a few years ago regarding the high of my SSH cut:
"I've had feelings of displacement (like your body is shooting upwards) and lots of tingling sensations."

Seems like this is something that can be found in the line.
I experience this best after not getting high for a short period and then one fat ๐Ÿšฌ or well packed vape.

After curing let it sit in a dry environment for a couple of days before consuming, this makes for better tastes and highs imo.

Enjoy.:giggle:

I'm certainly no Sativa/Haze specialist. I can only say that with the few good Haze hybrids I've had the pleasure of growing, drying, and smoking, it's always been like this little gem. Even after drying and two to three weeks of storage, there was often nothing there. For example, Kali Mist, which I used to grow around 2004, could only really be enjoyed after eight weeks of storage and proper drying. That was a world of difference. But as a cannabis junkie, whenever I'm working on this beauty, I always have to try one. It's already wonderfully mild. But so far, it doesn't do much more than wakefulness and a tingling sensation in my head. But as a passionate weed smoker, I can already tell from the way it smokes that something wonderful is developing. The look of this honey-like resin has given me the SSH bug. Or rather, it's rekindled a flame of hope within me that I'll finally find a Haze in my life that meets my expectations. So, I understand every cannabis enthusiast, one way or another.

But now, I'm even more passionate about Super Silver Haze and Neville's Haze, Mango Haze, etc., which are loved and appreciated by many growers all over the world. They know why. I definitely don't know enough about them yet. I also think it's good that these Haze strains somehow help to calm down. This everyday stress. Everything's just rushed, whether it's cooking or anything else. These plants teach you, or rather me, once again, that all good things take time. โœŒ๏ธ

Thank you, @Lu-Khan, for entertaining you! I feel the same way. It's a truly great forum. It's fascinating to see the different paths each person takes to find their beloved medicine for mind, body, and spirit. I've learned so much here, often just little things. But it's often these small details that make all the difference! It's truly amazing to see what everyone makes of genetics in their own unique way. Of course, we all have pretty much the same parameters that we try to adhere to.

That's a wonderful quote from Shanti @musashi"We grow with the plants." I'm absolutely thrilled about the SSH. I can hardly wait until it's fully cured. I've already taken four new cuttings, as I want to grow them again in an SSHxAC test grow. I'll let the SSH male flower at home. Because I dream about it every day. About a Super Silver Cherry Haze and experimentally pollinating the SSH girl with an old Querkel male from TGA Subcool. But now it's time for the SSHxAC grow. โœŒ๏ธ

As a cannabis junkie, I naturally had to try it straight from the jar!

Well, I have to say the initial tingling and the taste, as well as the smell, have completely disappeared. I think I used a really gentle drying method. Sure, it hasn't even been in the jar for two weeks yet. But I honestly can't imagine it being any different. If the flavor is already completely gone, it's gone. A former long-time smoker who hasn't smoked in over 10 years. For him, those few puffs barely did anything. It was packed into the jar, not like you do with indicas by bending the stem. The stems were still elastic and dry. Countless years ago, my mentor told me this, so to speak. You have to dry sativas differently. For me, the oily "donut" when smoking a joint is usually an indicator of whether it's good or not. With SSH, this doesn't happen at all, as is typical. I know I'm an impatient guy.

There were only two seeds and one female.

It was also just two seeds and one female. I'm going to leave the glass alone for the next four weeks. Then I'll test it again.

It looks really promising. It also feels really oily. That's why I don't understand why an oil donut doesn't form when I smoke it. The flavor completely disappeared. My mother even said the room smelled like burnt hay.

I'd say that's not a good sign, is it?โœŒ๏ธ

Vent the jar regulary and smoke a bud that has been out of the jar for a couple of days.
Can you pull some buds out and just let them sit in a dark cupboard for some weeks.
Try to compare these with those from the jar in a good month.
I don't believe that anything is lost, taste and smell can change.;)

I often don't have the patience to wait 6 months for some cannabis to cure. I like things that are great after a few weeks and am always sampling new things. Sometimes I prefer smoking the new thing when I have old stuff.

The plants I like or prefer are great when they're just dry. I'd say a month after they are dry, they burn better, and then it's like @ 1-2 years if you grew enough is when the magic happens. It degrades and ferments into an upgrade of flavour, and it's more rounded and full-bodied.

I like the really fruity stuff. Haze isn't one of the things I go for out of choices of flavour, it's the effects. I like purple weeds, full Indica blood, 50-50 types as a smoke.

Psychosis is an old clone that smells like tropical fruits and rancid butter emulsion, pear'n'banana, Isoamyl acetate (3-methylbutyl acetate), Pentyl Butanoate (1-Pentanol), acetone 4-chloro-3,5-dimethylphenol, parmasan, ethylene, Hawaiian punch. Loud SkunkyNL. Kinda stuff that pierces through walls, stays in the air for hours and hours, and you can still smell it on your clothes months after it's gone, in old jars. Lingering in a tent that you haven't had up for years, it'll still smell of it. All that vanishes or mellows properly after a year or so, and it smells like expensive brandy/wine and butterscotch candy. Fruity as can be. I love it. That and the purple..

I've had some great cannabis imports from the Swiss greenhouses that were unbelievable. Eye stinging and sweaty lip, pure heavenly stuff. old as the hills by the time some of the packs were opened. Slicing them open and unleashing the stink :) was great. Looking for the funky buttery stuff with the zest. They're the cheapest and best kilos I've ever seen and I've seen rooms of weed and hash stacked up to pick from since I was very young. THere were 2 types I remember the most from those packs and they were very similar but slightly different. Maybe 2 different strains with the same genetics or maybe one was left in the ground longer. The lighter green one was so stinky. Only the above strain has come close to that in 30+ years of looking at weed every day
